We went in after a morning walk at Bonnie Wenk Park on a chilly morning. We ordered medium coffee and small hot chocolate. Even though we were the only ones in the store,it took them really long to make the hot chocolate, whilst other customers walked in. Then my SO's hot chocolate tasted really weird. They called out for another caramel latte meanwhile. I can't help but think they mixed up our orders. I checked with the barista about what they put in the hot chocolate since it tasted really different, they said it was just chocolate syrup and milk. My SO threw away her $4 hot chocolate because they didn't want to admit they mixed up the orders. Coffee was not good either, not going back! read more

Laid back and super quaint location. Prices are really good Only downside is all snacks and bites are very carby or bread based. They use legit honey, if you prefer for sweetness in your drink. Not bad but not great, step up from Starbucks in terms of the coffee but you get a lot less for the price on regular drip or cold brews.

Just driving up to this place gave me a smile. There were a wide range of drinks and sweets to choose from. The staff was super friendly and service makes or breaks a place for me. The drink tasted like chocolate milk at first sip, but once I continued to drink it, I could definitely taste the coffee flavor. It was very sweet. The cookie was so warm and just the right amount of gooey. I will certainly come back to try more. Scooters might be my new go to coffee shop. read more

Seems like a less popular version of Starbucks to be quite honest. It was a little on the pricey side but, I just wanted to try it and see how I would like it. I ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk. It was okay, but I've had better. It was a little watered down to me, so if I ever do go again I may have to ask for little to no ice. I was looking for a new place to get coffee that wasn't a Starbuck's, and found Scooter's! There were lots of great reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. During this time of covid, it's nice that they have a drive-through and all the employees were wearing masks! First thing I noticed was how friendly the employees were! Every single time I've gone, the employees have been very welcoming and have also offered suggestions on drinks. My favorite drinks to get have been their Cold Brew with Cream and an Iced Toffee Nut Latte with Soy. I like that their drinks aren't overly sweet and that the coffee flavor is still really strong even with syrup. I'm honestly here at least once a week- usually more than that. When the main managers there shes am amazing and has the BEST customer service, but it seems when she's not there quality is down the was handed two COLD lattes that we're supposed to be hot. I just recently realized that this coffee shop existed right across from my daughter's school. I decided to try it out as I am always looking for a place to potentially give variety to my SBUX obsession. Spoiler alert: this is not it!! I went through the drive thru and was impressed by the person who took my order. She was friendly and answered my questions. I told her it was my first time and she suggested the Leprechaun iced latte (it was St. Patrick's Day), I also ordered a chai tea latte, and a red velvet cake bite. As soon as I got my drink it was unappetizing. The green color was that of baby poop and or a muddy green juice you would get from a juice bar. Definitely off-putting but I was open to taste it, yuck! It might have tasted worse than it looked. I decided to go into the cafe to order another drink and immediately noticed that the girl working the drive thru was the only warm spot in the entire place, the other employees looked miserable. No smiles, no greeting, more a blank stare of "why are you here?!' I told the girl at the register that it was my first time there and I wasn't a fan of the drink I got and wanted to try something else. She said nothing! Not a "oh I am so sorry" not "oh my goodness let's get you a drink you will love," nothing. So I asked for the Cold Brew with Butterscotch cold foam. She proceeded to ring me up, yes I paid, and I asked if she could throw my other drink away which she did. She then very unenthusiastically made my drink and handed it to me. I tried it and can say that this cold brew is great if you ever wondered what drinking rubbing alcohol and acetone tastes like. Literally repulsive! Again, in front of her I threw the drink away. So yeah I just spent 13 bucks on drinks that were disgusting and ended up in the trash! As for the chai latte, my hubby said "it tastes weird." Mind you he drinks this drink everywhere. In conclusion this was a very expensive experiment that ended with frustration and me making my own coffee at home :( Only giving it 2 stars for the girl working the drive thru, and the cake bite which was good. They serve a range of coffee, smoothie, blended drinks and also offer a few hot breakfast options. Drink prices range from $2-6. Two months ago, I would give Scooters 5 stars. For about 4 years my husband and I would order the egg and potato burritos. They were delicious! The green chiles gave the burritos a nice flavor. Now the chain has totally changed the burritos and probably using a different vendor. The new veggie burrito is terrible! We had to stop eating after just a few bites. I wandered to Scooter's on a not terribly scenic walk from nearby Bob Tomes Ford while my car was being serviced. The interior is a little more plain than Starbucks, but it's functional, with decent seating. My order was a latte with sugar free syrup; it was delivered quickly and tasted pretty good, It wasn't as strongly flavored as some I've had recently, but it had a good foam and nice sweetness. Wi-fi is available for customers, and there's a drive-thru. read more

Tasted semi watered down , gave it another chance this morning and I live 8 min away, took a sip soon as I got out my car to walk home and it was just horrible no flavor at all, tasted like I was sipping on water. I discovered this place again through my dog's trainer. She came in one day drinking an Almond Joy iced latte. It looked delicious. Right after training we went to Scooters to buy our own. We were hooked! So hooked, we purchased re-loadable cards and went back later that night for ice cream. This place is different than Starbucks. I like it better. The people are more personable. To me, it seems more neighborhood friendly. The employees make it a point to interact with you. They seem to know, understand and appreciate the importance of the customer. So I go to this Scooter's Cafe. I've never heard of before. We go to order and I ask for a biscuit with egg that Dale wanted. I asked if they could put sausage on it and they say no. I ordered the rest of our stuff. Then they handed me a hot coffee but the coffee I ordered was frozen on their menu. Then I can't find Dale's biscuit. So I walk back and tell them they forgot the biscuit. So they make one then tell me it's $4. I asked did you at least put sausage on it since you're charging me twice. They said no. I said tell your manager you're getting a bad review. She said she was the manager. I said then why can't you put sausage on the biscuit especially since I'm being charged again. She said corporate won't let her put sausage on a biscuit. They have sausage and egg on bagels, waffles and other breads so this is BS! Then I go to check my receipt because they claim they didn't charge me for the biscuit that I clearly ordered. Well guess what? They didn't bother to give me a receipt either time they charged me! So I go back and demand both receipts Itemized. Jesus! Now I finally tried the coffee and it's not very good and my oatmeal is as dense as black clay out of Greenville, Tx. Great place to go and unwind. The staff always remembers my order and are super-friendly. The booths are comfortable and give you plenty of privacy (unlike the dinner plates they call tables you're stuck with at SB). Each booth has a power outlet just above the table (no crawling underneath trying to search for it). Great place for a private meeting with a client if so inclined. read more

The menu is what you would think of when Starbucks comes to mind...same types of options. They did have self-serve yogurt stations but no yogurt (maybe they are saving that for the summer). I tried a Turtle Latte, as is with no customizations, and it was okay. The hubster tried a breakfast burrito and seemed to like it - the friendly fellow who helped us said that they come "pre-made" with sausage and whatever else was in them...so the "no onions please" option...wasn't really an option. Wi-fi is free and the place was spacious considering it was pretty empty. I can see it getting cramped pretty quickly though should a few patrons decide to wander in simultaneously. I stopped by Scooters for the first time yesterday and I had ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and a pinã colada smoothie through the drive-thru. They weren't busy at all, so there was no wait. I received my order fairly quickly, and oh my word! They were the best smoothies I've ever had, I swear by it. I'll definitely be coming back, and if their coffee is half as good as their smoothies were, Starbucks and Smoothie King just lost my business. Love it! The girl at the register charged for an extra shot even tho I told her I didn't want it. Just happened to hear her say extra shot when she repeated My order at the window then when I called her on it she says she always pushes the extra shot button even when customers say no. She refunded and charged the correct amount. Plus all their stuff is microwaved so who knows how long it's been sitting frozen, or they are out. Why offer a product your going to donate 20% of then not offer it. You want the image of donating to the breast cancer cause but not actually have the product. read more

I came in looking for a place to do some office work and hoping for some space where I could think. Many of these coffee shops force you to sit at a child-sized table and that wasn't going to work for me. I used to go to Saxby's in Allen, but they are no longer in business apparently. I stumbled upon Scooter's and am sure glad I did. It offers high-backed booths and a power outlet at each. The pumpkin-spice latte that I ordered puts Starbucks to shame and the service was exemplary as it was delivered promptly and actually walked over to my table while I was setting up my laptop. It's amazing that it's the little things like the convenient power outlet placement, and not waiting for your name to be shouted out to pick up your order - that help make it "5-star worthy" (in addition to the excellent beverages, of course) . read more
