My first time here. We ate in the fine dining side of the restaurant but you can dress casual. The restaurant was alive with tables having great conversations. I dug the vibe. I decided to try the Lychee Basil Martini- not too sweet or dry. I recommend this if you like a refreshing cocktail. Then I was torn because I had to try the poke! It just sounded delicious so my friends said they would have some too. 3 of us shared this and my picture was after we all took a little. (Oops) This was so delicious- don't miss eating the seaweed too! It was perfect pairing. I decided on the chicken because of the starter. And my friend said it was so tasty. My friend didn't lie! The spices used were outstanding. I normally don't order chicken in a restaurant but this is a definite thumbs up! Finally for dessert - the huckleberry Oreo mud pie. Pro tip: let it sit & melt for a few minutes because the flavors really come out the longer it sits! Dinner fabulous We didn't make a reservation & got lucky they had a table open. Wait staff was very helpful and nice. Prices - very fair especially for a fine dining restaurant. I hope to return the next time I visit my friends. As my first trip to Montana I loved it and can't wait to return.

In their old location, the food was much better, this new location feels more like a country club than a nice high-end restaurant.

It would normally have grapefruit vodka in it, but I'm not a fan of vodka or any of its flavoring. The kind bartender substituted the alcohol to gin with a splash of grapefruit at no extra charge. I believe the bartender is the owner as it seemed to be a one man show. The same guy was our server, a bus boy, bartender, and our host! He was probably the cook too! Talk about wearing many hats! I ordered the golden and red beets with goat cheese for $12 and this came to the table looking like a colorful masterpiece. Every bite was delicious. The huckleberry creme brûlée was great! The huckleberries are hiding at the bottom of the ramiken. I'm a tourist and was on a mission to eat everything huckleberry and this dessert did not disappoint! It's a must try! My boyfriend ordered the wild mushroom crepe $16 which was roasted wild mushrooms, prosciutto and swiss cheese with mornay sauce. I thought the crepe was a little undercooked, but he absolutely loved it. I also thought it was a bit salty for my taste, but the mushrooms were tasty! I ordered the $16 grilled salmon and andouille sausage over spinach with tomatoes, fresh orange and red onion. I never heard of these two proteins together, but they make a dynamic duo! I'd like to say it's a warm salad and it was so good! The charred salmon was the star of this dish!

Since we were a party of 2, we did get a small table right around the corner from an exit area. It wasn't bad. Another party had taken our chair (I'm guessing they said they had 4 guest instead of the actual 5) so we did have to wait for the hostess to find a chair when we got to our table but that's not on the restaurant. Patrons of the establishment seemed entitled and rude but the restaurant and wait staff itself was ok. The girl who sits outside to put you on the waitlist seemed like she'd rather us leave than wait 20 minutes. Food was fine. Drinks were good. You may have to wait a little bit, but choices in the area are limited. Prices are on. We spent $63 before tip for 2 burgers and 2 drinks. We were able to walk here from our tiny Airbnb so that was an added plus for us.

I believe it was originally 1908 speakeasy and now they changed it to Showthyme Act II. Located downstairs in Showthyme's basement, this cool little bar seats about 15 people max. B very cozy but we came early enough that we could sit at the bar. We tried calling making reservations a couple of times but they were busy. Best to just show up early. When they announced that there were just a couple of elk ribeyes left, I had to be the one that got at least one of them! When it was served, the elk was piled with potatoes and mushrooms covered in some sort of gravy.if I'm ordering an elk ribeye, I'm expecting a chunk of meat on my plate. The elk was actually sliced in small pieces and maybe a total of 8 pieces. Really disappointed with this since it's $55 for this meal and it wasn't filling or fulfilling. The servers also told us to try the deconstructed beef Wellington, but after this experience, I'm sure it's a couple of rice cakes between a slice of roast beef. The tuna ceviche was good, but nothing to rave about.

The place is cozy and there is also a speakeasy bar in the basement that serves food as well. We tried the kombucha which was light in fermentation but still refreshing. For an appetizer, we got the wild mushrooms by popular review. The mushrooms really shined in their earthiness and I liked the variety, but perhaps a little too doused in oil and a little pricey at $16. It came with a puff pasty which was super flakey and was a nice addition to the dish. For mains, we got the prime rib and the elk steak. The prime rib was a decent size, slightly over medium rare. The horseradish sauce was very strong (and delicious). Another star part of the dish was the maple candied carrots, adding a delicious sweet element. The Elk was cooked medium rare and was also nicely portioned. It was paired fingerling potatoes and stir fry garlic spinach. I think the oil was a little heavy here too but the meat itself was cook. There was also huckleberry reduction spread on top, but it didn't have too much flavor. Overall, the meal was good, worthy of 4 stars. The dining area had a nice ambience and I really like the stained glass windows. It did take a bit between courses but the whole meal was still about 2 hours and the staff were really friendly.
