Stopped by on our way back from Glacier National Park, we were about 10 minutes past when the kitchen closed, the amazing hostess was able to keep her husband in the kitchen for a little bit longer for us, super gracious of them, amazing food, excellent service and such a cool atmosphere, highly recommend this great little find. Such a great group of people and we were extremely thankful for getting some tasty food. Thanks again for taking such good care of us when ya'll had the kitchen closed!! read more

Service was really good , our waitress was very friendly and came to check on us a few times during the course of our dinner. I ordered a fish n chips, it was pretty decent considering it cost only $12. The coleslaw that came with it was too peppery for me but overall a decent meal. The only complaint I had is that the service was really slow. Maybe therewas a big order ahead of us but we waited a long time for our food :( read more

This joint is a sleeper hit in Lakeside and I'd say the entire Flathead Valley. You'd think it's probably elevated bar food and that's not incorrect.. but it goes the step further to family style home cooking. We got the iceberg wedge, chicken wings, hand rolled tortillas and the Black Pepper Gouda pasta. Gotta say each was a stand out all on its own. Wedge's blue cheese and candied bacon was great, chicken wings are not sauced leaving the tasty crisp and your choice of sauce! Tortillas are hand rolled with lots of great dippers... then the Pasta !! I'm gunna go out on a limb and say this was some of best pasta I've ever had. Seriously over the top. Then you get to the drinks which they well known here in the valley for. Highly recommend!! Oh and the owners and staff are awesome! read more

Great local environment, with an ever changing cuisine. I'm notorious for ordering the same thing all the time. Mavericks offers nightly pasta and chicken specials, which I love to take advantage of. Interesting flavors and pairs. I've had multiple pasta dishes that I'm wowed with! Pictured is a Creamy Feta Dill Pasta with olives and mushrooms. Mmmmm. My husband enjoyed a new favorite.... The food on special events is good. This is a place Lakeside locals love along with Harbor grill. One is on the Lake & this has outside seating & room of slots. They do have Live performances. read more

Hidden gem. Had a party of nine there last night and had the best time! The food was excellent, our waitress (Taylor) made the evening even better. Super sweet, friendly and helpful. First time trying this little bit of paradise. Servers were all super friendly and attentive. My husband has a dairy intolerance and the waitress offered to make aid roast dish without dairy to accommodate my husband. We had hoped to have a nice lunch. My husband had the special of the day, which was a pork sandwich. It was overcooked and dry. The salad that came with it was good. I had a cheeseburger that I had asked to be cooked medium. It was rock hard on the outside and dry. The French fries were okay. Our server was nice. However, they were very slow despite just two tables being full. We are locals and eat out regularly, but will not go back. read more

What a nice experience They have a really nice seating area in the back very clean nice tables and even a little waterfall. The staff was wonderful make sure if you order a burger you let them know how you want it cooked because they automatically come well done we had to send ours back. This was our first visit to Maverick's. Amanda provided us with amazing service. We are extremely picky eaters. And because we are so picky, we tell our servers 'don't bring us this or that' being it will be left on our plates and wasted. Amanda did exactly that!! My mini salad was just right! Best steak in the state of Montana! This place is clean, service is fantastic, and the pool table is always open. Has the NFL ticket so the game is always on, and locals night (Thursday) is a fantastic deal, single patty for $3, double for $4, and triple for $5!! This little casino restaurant was absolutely wonderful. It's very casual and of course it is basically a bar but the food is so much better than typical bar food. Delicious steak, pasta, pizza...everything we ordered was amazing. The service was incredible; we thought the waiter (Mick) must have been the owner or related to the owner by the way he waited on us but he wasn't!He was so attentive and so friendly. Seriously one of the best waiters we've ever had. We will definitely come back in the future. read more
