If you don't mind a little char on the top, the pizza is tasty. The crust and toppings are good. They offer a decent beer selection and are a self admitted "dive bar"... You can get a Mule, but they won't make you an Old Fashioned. There is a taller girl who has her vape pen in her mouth most of the time doing most of the food, and her attitude is definitely unfriendly towards out-of-towners.... Thankfully, the primary bartender, Shelby, is the primary contact and she is fabulous. A good spot to grab some beers and a pizza. Keeping your expectations consistent with a pizza & beer outing, and you should have an enjoyable outing. This is a bar/casino environment, so not somewhere you should bring children. read more

We were headed in "for one drink!" At first the bartender seemed to blow us off, maybe because we are from out of town? My husband was pretty bugged at how she was treating us. Just moved here almost 2 weeks ago and the girls have been nothing but friendly and welcoming! Well, I was hopeful that this may be a local favorite but the interior was not even remotely clean. The waitress was pleasant enough but asked us first what we wanted to drink, then failed to bring the drinks. We wiped the table down as best we could (ugh), and then had some pretty terrible food I'm sorry to say. Had the drinks and service kept coming I could have overlooked some of this, but the entire experience was not at all good.. The kid had their chicken fingers and thought they were "the best ever." I had a classic cheeseburger with chips. She had a burger too with fries. Their fries were killer. Just a good vibe. We were there for an early 5p Friday dinner. Great local place. PRO TIP FOR VISITORS: We were visiting town and our cabin lacked a washer/dryer. A dive bar with a ton of charm and super friendly staff. For my week trip in Lakeside I made it a point to come here more than once for drinks. Chatting with the bartender she pointed out her dad, brother and cousin also at/working at the bar. A whole family affair that we were welcomed in with open arms. All over the bar they have dollar bills of people who has visited. Naturally we asked for a sharpie and some tape to leave our mark too! They are considered a casino since they have virtual slots and poker in the back. Apparently if you are gambling (anything) you get a free round while doing so. This place is AMAZING! Staff, food, drinks, atmosphere, a total gem! We came here for the dinner after our small wedding, and they may call it a dive bar but the steak was the best I had in Montana, the pizza and everything else was fantastic too! We had a bigger group (about 20) so knowing they have a smaller kitchen called ahead to give a heads up and pre ordered, and everything was set up beautifully when we got there. I see some of the negative reviews and have to say - anyone who has ever worked in the service industry can say most are a better reflection of the author than the place. I have been a patron of this place for about 4/5 years. stopping by when I can get to Montana. As an Asian person, from out of town, I can say that the incident that someone from Tennessee had, was not ever the case I have had with the staff here...ever. My question is what happened? You said there was an incident and really didn't go into detail. Because from the first time I stepped into this place, I was asked where I was from but never denied service or was subject to any rude behavior by the servers. In fact now whenever I go in there, I am usually greeted with a "Welcome back" and "What have I been up to?" I am pretty quiet and stay to myself when I visit, but I sit and watch how they interact with people and all the tourists that visit Montana, me being one of them. I must say there are some entitled jerks out there too. I'm not saying this was the case here, but I am saying as a minority and someone who is not from Montana, this place and it's staff has been pretty kind to me. Now as far as the food and the wait times, I really can't argue with, at times, this place is packed, and you will wait for service. It's also a dive bar, so if you are looking for more upscale and family friendly ambiance, you may want to go to Tamarack, Harbor Grille, or Beargrass Bistro. And be honest it's a dive bar, in the description there should tell you what kind of food you will get...bar food. Again, I would suggest any of the three previously mentioned places for "restaurant" food. I can honestly say I love this locals dive bar. read more

All~You~Can~Eat~Taco~Thursday occurs every other week, arrive early and get a plate for under ten bucks, last time I went the price was $7.50. Rib Night is the Last Friday of the month, limited number of racks available, call, reserve, and pay by phone in advance recommended. Slow cooked & seasoned to perfection. Cooks with all the fixings to compliment this masterpiece. Saturday mornings breafast is served, limited hours. Highly recommend any thing served breakfast, much or dinner. Super bummed. My husband has been coming to Montana all his life to visit his family. His Uncle passed away that lived in this community for many years. My husband ordered food to go for us and he noticed that a bunch of other people were receiving orders before him and the lady working said that she hadn't even started our food(after he was waiting already for 45 minutes) and that they serve locals first. I get taking care of locals and I know right now the restaurant/bar folks are struggling. We just wanted to support local. We left before they even started our food. Love this dive bar here at Lakeside ! It's across from the marina & Flathead . The karaoke is fantastic on Thursday nights & it always draws an eclectic crowd . We enjoyed some refreshing beverages while listening to some Patsy Cline on the jukebox . It was a perfect end to a fun filled day at the lake . We also had a BLT and fries .. Great bar food!
