We had passed by so many times over the years and I never noticed it was located next door to Tacos Kissi, a taco eatery on Bethany Home Road. Mainly because Serkland is a small shop with just a few parking spots in front, and if you close your eyes as you drive by you'll miss it. Let me continue here on why I write this review. We needed service to our pool motor and I ended up calling Serkland to have someone out to service our pool motor. I wasn't in no hurry as I am fully aware that some businesses have a difficult time finding good people and especially parts are sometimes hard to obtain, and after I called I was told that he can't get a serviceman out for a couple of days which I was okay with. Fortunately I received a call much sooner and the person who introduced himself as Justin asked for our address to make sure he was headed our way. When he arrived I directed him to our unit and I felt very comfortable with him as he knew what he was doing. He worked to put a new unit which had to be put together and since it was a sticky humid day I had to give him some cold water. After all he is working outside. Justin did wonders and had our pool running again. I can't say enough about this place of business. We got taken care of by some knowledgeable people and nice people as well. The only thing I have to tell you is that they are not open on weekends but they will take care of you and whatever you need to take good care of your swimming pool. I know this is one of my shortest reviews but I was really impressed with Serkland.

Since we made the appointment, we've only been able to get a hold of them once, and they told me, that we are "somewhere in the system", since then they have never answered the phone nor have they returned any one of our several messages that we have continually left them. We are completely dissatisfied with the service and we would never use them again. A very dissatisfied customer!

Not only did he get them all completed in record time, but when we told him that we have been out of the kitchen with special dietary needs for about 2 weeks, he took it upon himself to deliver the kitchen items in less than 3 days even though he had to come in a couple of times to do the template due to a mistake done by the cabinet fabricator. He and his team worked for over 7 hrs installing everything to our absolute satisfaction. He wrestled with the farmhouse sink for about an hr and flush mounted it - it looks like a work of art. They even came to the rescue when we needed to install a pool heater on the quick since the previous company we had contracted with left us high and dry. Jasmine has been a godsend, answering my text messages and thoroughly explaining everything via email when we needed to make some repairs on the pool. When my husband and I purchased our home, it took about 2 years to fully renovate before we actually moved in. Ryan and his team took excellent care of our pool while we lived across town. I was anxious to not always have an eye on our pool, but once we started service with Ryan, we never had to question it was being taken care of. Ryan and his techs have put up with multiple construction headaches and conditions on our property as after the interior of our home was complete, we also took on a landscaping renovation that also included refinishing the pool. Ryan is prompt to point out any problems that arise or maintenance that is needed. He quickly responds to emergency situations like the one time we woke up to our pool losing water and discovered a drain plug had blown off. Ryan came out promptly that same morning with a new one. When our pool was refinished he even pointed out an issue with one of the new pop ups being stuck in the up position which we probably would not have noticed as quickly on our own. Those are just a few small examples. Our neighbors have some giant oak trees on their property that have a seasonal leaf drop that you wouldn't believe. Leaves make their way into the pool area despite our best efforts and Ryan's team works extra hard during those times to keep it clean. I can't thank them enough for that. I know it's not fun to deal with. It wasn't until I was recently forced to deal with another not so great pool service company on another property, that I thought to myself - I owe Ryan a review because he's truly one of the good guys. Ryan's communication and service is stellar. He is prompt to reply, patient, honest, and reliable. Won't go to the "L" company anymore, and another Pool Store on Ray would not warranty our pool filter, we had to go direct to the manufacturer (LONG STORY) to get the warranty. Mark was courteous, knowledgeable, not a "sales person," and didn't try to SELL me stuff I didn't need and/or want. Mark was incredible to work with, matched a price from a competitor on a pool cleaner, and answered a few questions over the phone to confirm installation options intelligently and without making me feel like I was a woman, and had no clue (although I am the pool guy in our home)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND them, and they also have a Cactus Club Card where you save $ on pool items you regularly need. Since it is the end of June, got this for $10 for the rest of 2014, and already saved the price of the card and SO much more! The only reason this review isn't a 1 star is because of Frank. Frank is good people. The delivery team (Nick) is the worst. I have never heard so many excuses and missed delivery timelines. I took the day off work to be home to accept the delivery, at 8 am I get a call from Nick saying he's stuck at another delivery and will be there by 11 am, 5 more calls and 5 more excuses. Then he just turned off his number and missed the delivery. I was very close to cancelling the deal over it. The communication with these guy is absolutely awful and once the issue happened they blew me off. They are still blowing me off as I tired to connect on why my hot tub is over heating. Going to love the warranty battle if I have a lemon. I am not saying I regret buying this tub, but this company should act professional and deliver! Also make sure you have everything in writhing as the delivery team tried to get an extra $500 for the delivery and removal of the old tub which was included in my deal. I had to call Frank so he could call them to tell them to pound sand. If you go ask for Frank.

I bought my SwimSpa from Southwest Spas and Pools in May 2025. The delivery and set-up went fine…read moreand I enjoyed my it for the first year without any problems. In May 2026 I broke my arm and was unable to get into the spa to maintain it, just put chemicals in. Eventually, the spa started to grow algae. On June 22 I called Southwest and asked for a service call to do a drain, clean, bring new filters, and fill. They put me in contact with their service person Noah. He was supposed to come out on the 26th. Between June 26th and July 8th Noah canceled 6 times. I let Southwest know and they gave me their "sincere apologies". When Noah finally came out, he did the drain and clean but did not replace the filters (which were filled with algae). He did not fill up the spa with water like he was supposed to. He kept the breakers on and the jets were running dry. When I filled up the spa and turned the jets back on, gunk and insects came out of where the filters are located. I removed the filters and they were the old ones. All of that went right back into the Swimspa. Again, it is filled with algae. I tried to take care of it myself, but it's out of control. I have also lost power to the spa. I called Southwest, and told them what happened with the filters and asked for a service call. I was told that Noah did not work there anymore and would send someone else out. They said they would be out on Friday, July 31st. and would call me back with a timeframe. I received no such call. I called and left a message at Southwest on July 31st and told them to not bother coming out and that I was going to leave this review. I received a call back almost immediately. I spoke to Brent who said he was almost at my house. After talking to him I discovered that I was going to be charged a $150 service fee and almost $80.00 for new filters. I told him I was not going to pay for a service fee to correct damage that was done by their company.
