This is an afterthought review! I honestly didn't know Serkland was close by. My wife was the one that suggested I call. We had passed by so many times over the years and I never noticed it was located next door to Tacos Kissi, a taco eatery on Bethany Home Road. Mainly because Serkland is a small shop with just a few parking spots in front, and if you close your eyes as you drive by you'll miss it. Let me continue here on why I write this review. We needed service to our pool motor and I ended up calling Serkland to have someone out to service our pool motor. I wasn't in no hurry as I am fully aware that some businesses have a difficult time finding good people and especially parts are sometimes hard to obtain, and after I called I was told that he can't get a serviceman out for a couple of days which I was okay with. Fortunately I received a call much sooner and the person who introduced himself as Justin asked for our address to make sure he was headed our way. When he arrived I directed him to our unit and I felt very comfortable with him as he knew what he was doing. He worked to put a new unit which had to be put together and since it was a sticky humid day I had to give him some cold water. After all he is working outside. Justin did wonders and had our pool running again. I can't say enough about this place of business. We got taken care of by some knowledgeable people and nice people as well. The only thing I have to tell you is that they are not open on weekends but they will take care of you and whatever you need to take good care of your swimming pool. My husband and I have been dealing with Serkland's Pool Service since 1984, we called them well over a month ago for some pool service since we live only about a half a mile from the store, and the service area is small l, we figured they'd get here pretty quickly. Since we made the appointment, we've only been able to get a hold of them once, and they told me, that we are "somewhere in the system", since then they have never answered the phone nor have they returned any one of our several messages that we have continually left them. I was visiting my mom in Phoenix when her pool pump started to leak. We found the best pool repair service in town! Scott was very friendly, professional and an expert in pool repair services. Response time was great even though it was not an emergency. The repair was very reasonably priced and feel this is a very trustworthy company who will not take advantage of you. I called and talked to someone about pool repair problem over a month ago. Have never heard from them again . They are not answering their phone or returning voicemails I have left. I am very dissatisfied. Just be courteous and let me know. Just left me hanging. I don't care how long you have been in business, this does not make for a happy customer. read more

I wanted to replace my pool filtering system (from the ground up) and thought that I would get three estimates. Amazingly, nobody would return my calls. That is, until I called Serkland and talked to Justin. He was very polite and helpful over the phone and was able to come to my house the next day. Within minutes of meeting Justin and as we went over the project, it was obvious that I was speaking with a professional. He emailed a detailed estimate to me and completed the job quickly, thoughtfully, and as he quoted. Bonus: He diligently calls or texts with any updates or verifications. read more

GREAT pool service company!!! They are very fair in price and overly generous in their service. They showed up to the house at the agreed upon appointment time, and I didn't have to wait around for them to arrive. They were very thorough in walking us through the care of the pool equipment and how to maintain it all. They also labeled all the equipment so there would be no confusion in the future. We have a problem pool. It's large, old, deep, and surrounded by trees. It's a formula for a green pool. We struggled with the algae for the first year after we moved in. Bought loads of chemicals, got analysis after analysis done. Still, by July, it was green, and stayed that way the rest of the summer - gross and unswimmable. There comes a point when you admit failure, bite the bullet, and go to the experts. Serkland's fits the bill. They are affordable, reliable, and know what they're doing. Since hiring them, it's been crystal blue waters all summer long. Plus our guy loves dogs, and brings treats for them every time he comes. Can't beat that! read more

This company clearly doesn't understand how cyanuric acid works. The said my HOA pool had no black algae and was chemically balanced. It absolutely is not. For the safety and health of your family, please do not use this company. read more

Service people are awesome! My pump went out making a humming noice. For a week I tried calling places to come out and everyone was booked. I gave Serkland a call and even though they are also busy they had no problem fitting me in to their schedule for the next morning. They came out and inspected my motor, turns out that it started right away with no problem. Service guy told me to give them a call if I had any other issues, I was so thankful for the help and when I asked how much it was going to be for coming out, he said nothing.... I was surprised of the honesty and professionalism by this company. Definitely recommend and will use them in the future!!! read more

I have used Serkland several times over the last couple of years to clean and service my pool and filter. They also service my neighbor which is how I came to find them. I normally service my own pool but there have been occasions when I needed to get on their schedule while I was away or didn't have the time or needed a service that was out of my depth. I have always received good reliable service, fair pricing and great customer service. I will be using them again. read more
