I really love it and it isn't something you could find at any old furniture store. I also appreciated they offered delivery. I did knock one star because about a month after buying the dining set I tried to buy a desk and matching bookshelf. Everything was set and a delivery was scheduled, only for them to call me the day before delivery to say there had been an error and one of the pieces had been sold to someone else. They have some really nice items that are priced reasonably. With that being said be cautious and do your research when it comes to the higher priced items. I had found a dining table that I really loved, and it was marketed as being a west elm piece. Since the piece was west elm the price was quite high. I did some digging to find the name/model of the item to compare pricing. I did a deep dive using the measurements and the small details/structure of the table. I found the exact same table online, but it turned out to NOT be west elm. So long story short they were trying to sell me a used west elm table for $1200 but the table was not west elm. The same table was selling brand new from castlery.com for $900. read more

Lots of stuff here. Some nice, some not, and a lot of odd ends and things. It can be a fun place to rumage about, if you enjoy doing so. I found them somewhat over priced but they gave me the impression there was room for haggling. The manager was available and was friendly. I found parking right away but I went just after they opened, it might be a problem during busy hours though. One thing I did notice was a lot of their items had noticeable wear and tear issues. I love The Local Flea - the concept is great and, as a student on a budget, I have found some great, stylish furniture at an affordable price - especially via the liquidation section of the website. However, on more than one occasion, I have purchased items online only for them to be canceled before delivery or pick-up. Both times it was explained as a glitch in the system. It's disappointing. Don't get your hopes up that an item will be available just because it's on the website or even because you paid for it - your best bet is to go in person with the item number. read more

This place is very cool! I wish I'd taken Pictures but I was too busy looking at all their stuff and by stuff I mean furniture, scooters, TVs, lamps....I mean it's your local flea market sooooo yeah lots of stuff. The workers are very nice and super helpful. You're given a tablet and you insert the the code found on the items you're interested in to get prices. I will say that some of the codes once inserted into the tablet did not come up with anything but like I said there was a worker there that was attentive and took down the numbers to find the price for us. read more

Save yourself time and look online. Anything that's not online has not been priced so you can say hold it but then they haven't told you the price. And then of course if you put a hold on something and they haven't told you the price they're going to increase the price. Of course that's on my skeptical mine works. read more

I made an online purchase from The Local Flea. I paid by credit card. The item was to be put on hold until I could pick it up. (I had an agreed upon pick up time, but the store was closed when I got there) I live out of town, and explained that my son would pick up the item after Labor Day. In the mean time, I purchased new hardware for the item, bought a mirror to go above it. Today, when my son went to get the item (with the paid invoice in hand) The Local Flea told him that they sold it to someone else! I then called the store, and got a totally different story. And, they still have my money. The furniture is mine. I have paid for it. (It was immediately marked as "sold" on their website.) I am furious. Not a way to run a business. I see that people are pleased with the items that they buy while in the store. The online experience is a horror story. Buyer beware. Look somewhere else. read more

This is the best consignment store in The Valley!! From the quality of furniture to customer service, The Local Flea is hands down the best. You're greeted when you walk in, offered water and left alone when walking around. There's nothing worse than an employee following you around while you shop and try to up sell you on everything you stop to look at. They asked the right questions without being too pushy and even offered a discount after learning I was expecting! All furniture was clean and prices are very reasonable. One dresser had a small crack in one drawer and the price reflected it. They also offer a flat delivery fee of $75 which is nice. I found this place on Yelp and decided to look at their online store.. I was searching for a TV stand and found the perfect item. After placing a bid and them accepting it, I paid for my order and delivery online. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, I gave them a few extra days to set up delivery, however, I never received a phone call or email regarding the delivery. I had to contact them twice, in order for delivery to be setup. I saw this place online and they had a picture that looked just like what I was looking for. Although I was skeptical they were keeping their site up to date, I figured I would give them a try. So glad I did! Even though the front looks like a storage unit, it is a big warehouse. Most importantly, it is filled with good stuff, not junk. Bought several items online, paid for them, arranged for a pickup time per their listed times available, only to drive the 30 minutes and arrive ahead of the time, and no one was there. Called the number on the confirmation email I was sent and the person on the other end said they were having issues with the Phoenix location and had to close and was in the process of moving. There was no email communication that there was an issue, no sign on the door down at the location and as a matter of fact, their hours were posted on the door and according to the posted hours, they should have been open to the general public. The person I spoke to couldn't get a hold of anyone and then couldn't process a refund for a couple of days. Their lack of communication if they knew the store was having some issues is alarming. If they open in another location like she said they were hoping to do, I will NEVER give a cent of my money to them. I was not, and am not, happy with them at all. Stay out of business. read more

I was there Saturday 2/19. One of the customer service employee Maree greeted me as I walked in. She was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time there and she explained how everything worked. I told her what I was looking for and guided me to a few Couches. I liked a few of them. Came back Sunday was purchased the set I wanted. Everything was so easy, gave me a good price, with a low delivery fee, my new couches will be deliver on Friday. Their customer phone service is horrible. I got a email in regards to the 2nd piece of furniture that I had ordered which was on backordered for 12 weeks. It gave me the impression that the piece came in earlier that expected which was great but I tried calling them to verfiy yes the piece was actually in and to setup a delivery date. I've been calling for 3 days and each time I've been on hold for almost 2 hours so I attempted to use the on line chat and all that is is communicating with a automatic system not even a real human.
