If you don't mind the cosmetic flaw of the part, then by all means. When I gave the feedback to the owner he argued that I was the first person to ever report this and wouldn't address it, even after sending pictures other than to replace it. I opted not to replace with the same sub-par part and try another place if the touch screen actually loses function. Yesterday was effectively ruined when I dropped my phone and the screen was demolished (entire screen was badly cracked and little glass shards were falling everywhere). So for the next 24 hours I carried my phone in a ziploc bag (new trendsetter right here). I first called the Apple Store and was told that screen repair costs $129, or up to $269 if they find something else wrong with my phone (damn you apple). So I turned to Yelp to look for a reliable repair store. I called iCracked earlier today and spoke with AJ, who informed me that a screen repair for my iPhone 5 (no LED damage) is $85. Even though the location is a nearly 30 minute drive from my home, I decided it was my best bet. They are located inside a 1 hour photo store (so look for that and not "iCracked"), and I was told it would take about 1.5 hours for the repair (they were working on another phone when I got there, so I'm sure the actual time is a lot less). After the repair, my phone looked amazing, and they even put on a free screen cover. I spoke with AJ, who informed me about their lifetime warranty (just when I thought things couldn't get any better). Grandson Jake's iPad had an accident. Whack, crack, bang. It fell out of his hands onto the pavement. Ouch! Left a huge gaping hole in the corner, with a single crack across the entire screen. Buying boba results in shattered iPhones. True story. All silliness aside, I dropped my iPhone 5 as I was purchasing a drink. My heart completely dropped to my stomach at the sight and sound of what had happened. I couldn't even enjoy my boba anymore. I called for a quote using a landline (who does that anymore?!) and surely, I was able to bring it in and have it looked at. I came back at the estimated time and he told me that the person who fixed my phone before left some missing screws so he fixed that for me as well. No wonder my phone wasn't working properly before the accident! For someone to know what another person did incorrectly and to be honest and also able to fix it made me feel more at ease and that I made the right decision coming here. I paid $124 (no tax because I mentioned "The Buzz") for a replacement glass for my iPhone 6, tempered glass shield, and also received a free rubber case. The replacement glass by itself was $109. The shopping center has a Starbucks so that made it a little easier to kill time while the phone was getting fixed. But when he replaced the screen the entire phone shorted out and could not be turned back on no matter what he did. He called and got an appointment at the Apple Genius bar for us which was great. We were initially so happy with the customer service. Then he tried to have us pay for the screen replacement. We said no, because he completely broke the phone. He said he would meet us at the apple genius bar to pay for the deductible (the iphone was thankfully insured). The appointment time came and went and the technician NEVER SHOWED UP. If ZERO was a rating that's what they would get. I drove out of my way to get my phone repaired here. At first I thought this was a perfect solution to replace my cracked iphone screen, but the next day I noticed a dead pixel on the screen so I took it back in. They replaced it, and I thought it was all good except it wasn't. The replacement screen also had issues with image quality (dead pixels along the edges) so I went back in. This time the manager AJ became confrontational and said not all the screens are perfect we could play this game all day but I'm losing money. I simply wanted my phone repaired but they use inferior products. A few days later one of the screws fell out and my screen cracked with the screen protector on without me even dropping it. I tested this information last night while I was walking my dog. It's true I tell you. So, after breaking my iPhone screen, I needed a repair. I figured this was going to hurt a lot. Yay for a beautiful fixed screen done by such nice workers! Hands down, they're awesome at their job. They replaced my broken screen/LCD for my iPhone 6 for only $109. I've encountered other places that fix it for $130 and up which is no bueno (it shows you other places are probably ripping you off). I got it fixed on Sunday but noticed discoloration a few hours after getting it done. Yet it's no problem since their screens do come with warranty to fix any defects! The only hiccup I encountered was that when I called in on Monday (MLK Day), I was told to come on in (without an appointment). When we came in, however, there were 4 phones being done and Lauren was swamped! I cracked the back of my phone a while back but never got around to fixing it. I guess it wasn't a necessity until I dropped my phone recently again and this time cracked the front. Went out to the 2012 Taurus World Stunt Awards at Paramount Studios and wore a Tux that I don't normally wear. Put my iPhone in the bottom inside pocket not realizing that the pocket was too shallow to hold the phone. None-the-less, it committed suicide and came out with a broken face..... Searched Yelp for a quality fix since my Verizon insurance wanted to charge me $200 dollars to replace the phone because of a broken screen. The 2 top rated places I called either went straight to voicemail or didn't call back in a timely matter. After using my broken iPhone in a Ziploc bag for 2 days after realizing the broken screen was producing small glass pieces between my finger tips, I decided to check my 2nd search engine, Craigslist. AJ didn't answer my call, nor did I leave a VM, but he called me back within 10 minutes! I answered the call through the Ziploc bag and put it on speaker since sound doesn't seem to transfer well through thin plastic. I explained what happened and also asked him about changing my Black iPhone to a white one while we were at it. $85 dollars to fix the broken screen and home button to white! My wife cracked the back facing camera on her iPhone 5. I got recommended to AJ and his team here at iCracked in Orange by my girlfriend. I have to say the experience was top notch! I sent an email and AJ got back to me so quickly and explained everything up front. It is located in the shopping center with the Fresh and Easy inside the "1 Hour Photo". LOVE THIS PLACE. I called and they didn't answer but then AJ called me right back. Unfortunately they were closed today (Sunday) but he told me there was actually a mobile person. Lauren was super nice and accommodating. I called last minute and had a strict schedule because I had work from 12-5 today. Lauren actually came to my work and worked on my phone there. She even gave me a sparkly screen protector, which I love! And then my least favorite part: the payment. Now this isn't because of them, it's because I'm a college student with a part time job and I'm always short on money. I have an iPhone 5 and they only charged $85 for the repair and then $10 for the mobile. Honestly, not too bad considering the apple store charges $200+ and radio shack charged $99 for an iPhone 4.
