We had Jovani work on three separate issues during his visit: clearing the kitchen sink drain, which was not draining properly, he then replaced and disposed of an upstairs toilet, and finally replaced the cartridge from a dripping bathtub faucet. Jovani made sure we were satisfied with his work as he addressed each issue along the way. He completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. I said no thank you to both services and the tech left. (I later found the clean out under the house where the tech looked and said one wasn't there) Was here less than 5 minutes. Weeks later I had a text sent to me from a random phone number with a link to an invoice demanding payment for services never rendered. With the amount of scam texts people receive I ignored the text message. Fast forward to a months later I get an angry phone call demanding payment. After I explained service was never rendered from whoever the person was from this company who was adamant that they performed a service, I tried to explain nothing was done. That person then angrily said never call us again. I said no problem, I wouldn't do business with anyone who operates in this manner. Couldn't finish my statement though cause the guy hung up on me. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANYONE WHO TREATS POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS SO HORRIBLY! I've worked in hospitality for years, and this goes against every principle of good customer service. I hope you see this review owner of this company and address this issue. Word of mouth is everything in this business. And treating customers even those who opted out of potential services with respect is paramount in maintaining a good reputation. Do better guys.

We needed a diverter changed on our Rohl bridge faucet. After the Monarch tech replaced the…read morediverter the faucet started to drip. The tech said it was an issue the hot water cartridge. The cartridge was replaced but the drip continued. Another Monarch tech came to repair drip and said the hot water angle stop valve was leaking and was causing the drip. They replaced the angle stop valve but the drip continued. I sent the tech a video of the issue the same day telling them that the repair did not work. We had to turn off the hot water valve to stop the drip. We spent $660 to have a diverter changed and now have a faucet that has a drip and need to figure out how to repair or replace the faucet. I am not happy with the service we received from Monarch. If you have a high-end fixture, I would not recommend using this company.

I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I will get another quote, but the next one has a high bar to cross; not only the service, but Water Heaters Masters quote was WELL below the only other quote I had gotten so far. We have a hydronic systems for our condo and he is supposed to be the expert. He installed a purge valve, but the result was cold water in the shower. He's blaming the water pressure and the check valves, and his fix was to turn on the heater. I did this for a week, but once the heater automatically turns off (90s in my small unit) I get cold water again. So glad I found "East Bay Hydronics" in Emeryville, Matthew is the best with hydronic heating systems. He knew the solution right away, fixed it and also fix the pressure on my sinks. I used to complain about the water pressure and extra time to get hot water, but now it's like magic.
