I had a leak in the garage that took a day to track down. Once I know what it was, I called Pluming Connection about 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. I was expecting to spend the weekend with towels and bowls to keep the water dripping out of the hot water system in check. Instead, they arranged an appointment between 11:00 and 1:00 on Saturday. The knock on the door was 11:05. After a few minutes showing where the water was coming from and having a discussion of what needed to be replaced, I was told that the fix would take about 45 minutes and that the parts were on the truck. Not only did he fix the pipe that was leaking, but he explained that a second pipe the same age and type was likely to go out too. 30 minutes later, everything was fixed. I called the Plumbing Connection for a backed up/slow draining kitchen sink. I made the appointment for the following day and they gave me a one hour window. They arrived promptly and were very friendly and professional. Good news for me is that when we were trying to recreate the problem that I had been experiencing the past three days, we could not ‍. Got a response from a different number. I believe I contacted them on Friday but got a text on Sunday. Although I did not use them, they were very on point (e.g. only plumbing and no woodworking). Cannot fault them for not giving me more suggestions, even though it was initially a plumbing issue (sink blew and caused water damage). Apparently you still need a plumber but you also need a bunch of other stuff. Hence if I knew what I know now, either: 1. Hire a plumber to determine cause/fix Then a Remediation specialists Then a Contractor to put back up the pieces Then a Plumber to fix the pipe/plumbing Or 2.
