Kale Caesar Salad with chicken
Lucy S.

Great spot with lots of indoor/outdoor seating, lots of menu options with sandwiches, pastries, coffee, salads. Good place for a cute brunch/lunch. The kale salad was amazing. I'd also recommend trying their seasonal coffee drinks. This one was the orange zest latte and it was amazing! Just sad it's not always there

The coffee was good, the breakfast burrito was delicious. Service was ok. The place was clean and busy!

Summer hash- i added avocado

This is my usual stop for coffee and breakfast whenever I'm heading to wine country from San Francisco. I love this place, it's super cozy, and the baristas and staff are always really friendly. I usually get an almond milk latte with an extra shot, and it always hits the needs. Last time I was there, I had the summer hash, which was amazing btw -two poached eggs over summer squash, green beans, cherry tomatoes, white corn, red onion, potatoes, and fresh herbs- Super fresh and a great way to start the day. I've also had the avocado toast and tried a few of their pastries on previous visits, everything has been delicious so far. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're passing through or spending time in Sausalito. It's a great little spot for good coffee, tasty food, plus that beautiful bay town!

Black sesame latte

Stopped by on a Sunday morning and found this to be a very popular spot in Sausalito. A decent line to order, and then a significant wait to actually get your coffee. We probably waited 15 minutes for two coffees because there were so many orders from both customers before us and online orders. SEASONAL BLACK SESAME MAPLE SYRUP LATTE (4/5) - Didn't taste like black sesame at all, but otherwise still a nice latte and thankfully wasn't too sweet with the syrup. DECAF AMERICANO (4/5) - Fine, a little watered down. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating at this location which is nice. If you're dining in, you'll get a number for the table and someone will be by with your food. Otherwise, you'll be waiting for them to call your name for any coffee or online orders. This is a busy place so expect lots of people, a line to order, maybe some difficulty with finding a seat, and a wait for either food or coffee. Not the most peaceful place, but also not too hectic or chaotic -- there were still a few people doing work at tables (not many outlets here from what I could tell though).

Beautiful location with a nice view. We sat outside and enjoyed our sandwiches and lattes. I got a red velvet latte that was made with beets. It was so good. I also got the veggie frittata sandwich which was delicious.

Breakfast Burrito

3.5/5 but feeling generous so will round up to 4. Nice place to hang out in Sausalito - plenty of seating and natural light. Breakfast Burrito ($14 plus tax) - too much sour cream and too many (large chunks of) potatoes - the flavor and texture balance was off. Salsa was just okay. Flat White ($4.75 plus tax) - solid but not spectacular. It's a shame that they charge extra for oat milk. WiFi is stable enough and there are outlets to charge your device(s).

Loved our coffee and sandwhich here. Great spot for a quick bite, definitely a more causal atmosphere too.

Took the ferry from San Francisco to Sausalito. We were hungry so we were looking for something near the ferry and found the Equator. There is a side for coffee and a side to order food. There is also inside and outside seating Not much sun during our time in San Francisco so we decided to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The server greeted us warmly and took our orders. I ordered a Farmer's Breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, smashed avocado, potatoes, wheat toast and coffee. My Sister in Law had a turkey panini sandwich with soup. The server brought the meals out to our table quickly. Both meals were tasty and hit the spot and it was a short walk from the ferry.

i think this is a chain cafe but i liked it. this one in sausalito has tons of indoor and outdoor seating options. the views are amazing. great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink to sip and enjoy nice weather. the service was quick as well. the price was pretty good comparative to other coffee shops/cafes-- that are also chains. they have a big menu so i'm sure you could find something to eat or drink. i got the bridgeway berry smoothie which definitely could've used a little bit more sweetener. i also got the burrito bowl which was good-- just no seasoning at all to it and normal white rice. to be fair, it is more so of a coffee shop though. overall, i would definitely come here again and hangout on a sunny day.

Breakfast Burrito

I am not a coffee drinker, but love to try chai teas from various coffee shops while I work. Unfortunately, I have never been a fan of the chai tea here and have given it multiple tries. The tea is heavy on the milk with little flavor, and the flavor that is there tastes too bitter for me. However, I do enjoy the breakfasts that I have ordered here. The breakfast burrito I ordered last week was unbelievably delicious. I have always received good service while here and greeted with a smile. They have ample seating indoor (tables and booths) and outdoor which is usually packed with people in the mornings. You order at the counter and are given a number to take to your table where your food and drink will be delivered. The location is in a prime spot in Sausalito and is easy to walk to.

Vanilla Latte, Breakfast Burrito, and Iced Habibi
Steeny E.

This place is fine--big menu, solid coffee--but let's be real, nothing here justifies standing in a 15-minute line unless you're being paid for your time. My bf's vanilla latte? Divine. My "habibi" latte? Utterly bland. A bold choice to name a drink after Middle Eastern culture and then forget the flavor. We are literally known for that. The breakfast burrito was decent, though the undercooked potatoes gave it a nice "still raw" crunch. Gourmet! Now, the almond croissant? Absolute perfection! As for the service... let's just say not everyone was firing on all cylinders. A special shoutout to the young woman at the counter who couldn't grasp that iced green tea and matcha are not the same thing--despite their identical color. Shocking, I know. Would I return? Sure, if I happen to be nearby and the croissant starts calling my name.

Vanilla Cold Brew Cream
Minh-Uyen N.

Equator was the perfect place for a Saturday afternoon pick-me-up. I enjoyed my vanilla cold brew, the cream was very good, although the flavor could be a little deeper/stronger. But the vibes were great. I was able to easily grab a table to sit down and read.

Blueberry Sage Matcha Cream
Kellie C.

Ordered the blueberry sage matcha cream. Very average. The matcha tastes like water, and the cream curdled weirdly over the drink. A very very disappointing matcha. I also ordered the chicken flatbread sandwich. It was fine but a little pricey in my opinion.

Over fifteen minutes to order and have your single cup of Americano. It is not OK! One poor lady is preparing 15 back to back drinks.

Got it. I'll turn this into a polished Yelp Elite-style narrative: observant, balanced, a little…read morewitty, and clearly written by someone who actually spends time here--not a fly-by latte tourist. This spot feels like the other side of Sausalito--in the best way. If Sausalito Bakery is the pressed-linen, weekend-brunch version of town, this place is where the everyday locals land. Same essence, very different energy. Cozy, familiar, and quietly charming without trying too hard. The space itself is warm and inviting, with a lived-in feel and a glowing sign in the back that somehow makes the whole room feel softer. There's a large communal table, plenty of indoor seating, and a steady hum of conversation that creates excellent white noise. It's a solid place to get work done--as long as you're not recording audio, because it does get a little loud--but for emails, planning, or a casual work session, it absolutely works. Now, the matcha. This is the real headline. I'll be honest: I used to actively avoid ordering matcha here. It was mediocre at best. About five months ago, they changed it--slight improvement, but still not there. I know the ownership was proud of that update, but something clearly changed again since then, because today's matcha was genuinely impressive. Like, stop-what-you're-doing impressive. At this point, I'm comfortable saying this is the best matcha in Sausalito. Egg Lady's is fine, but it doesn't come close. Sausalito Bakery is lovely to hang out in, and their pastries are great--but their matcha is forgettable. This one isn't. (The only matcha I've had locally that competes was at an ERIA Events gathering, but that's not exactly a walk-in situation, so it doesn't count.) If you're in Sausalito specifically looking for matcha, this is the place. They're also great with substitutions, service is quick, and the owner has a genuinely warm, welcoming presence--lots of friendly back-and-forth with regulars, which adds to the atmosphere rather than distracting from it. I didn't try the pastries or sandwiches this time (not much of a pastry person), though everything looked solid. Outdoor seating exists, but with the weather being a bit unpredictable lately, indoor is the move. Fair warning: parking is a hassle. I parked in the lot near Trident, and while it worked, the valet experience was... unpleasant enough that I probably wouldn't do it again. Plan accordingly. All in all, this is a comfortable, local-feeling café with excellent matcha, good energy, and enough seating to make it a reliable go-to. It may not be the "scene," but it's exactly the kind of place you end up recommending when someone asks, "Where do you actually like to go?"

The food was delicious like I remembered. I ordered the moules marinières (the same as last time) and was happy I did. Mussels were good-sized and nicely steamed, the broth was excellent... just wish they'd provided more than one slice of bread with the dish because there was a lot of good sauce left to soak it up. My friend had the oeuf à la coque and loved it, especially the truffle butter. The one downside was that we had no silverware or napkins at the table. The waiter did not notice, nor did we until we went to start eating and had to get his attention to bring us settings. The drinks were another story. I ordered a non-alcoholic wine and after waiting some time, was told they didn't have it. I was offered to see the drink menu again and the waiter said he'd bring it right to me but must have gotten sidetracked because he forgot, and I had to flag him down. I decided on a vodka flight since the vodkas are distilled and bottled by the owners and thought it was worth a try... the French wheat, Espelette chili, and Williams pear. Food arrived before the drinks did. The waiter came back and asked me again what vodkas I had ordered. When the flight finally showed up I'm pretty sure all three were the Espelette chili despite me ordering three different ones. It wasn't worth the time to confirm as we had to catch the ferry back to San Francisco, but noted here as it was disappointing. Little cards naming each vodka would be a nice touch... though it wouldn't have helped much in my case. Also, a proper tasting set instead of three loose glasses would help too. Hopefully this was just a one-off. Still a cute spot worth stopping at if you're spending time in Sausalito.
