Walked in around 2:30 in the afternoon on Tuesday with my daughter and carrying my 4 month old Granddaughter. Excited to try yall out. The girl behind the counter gave us a GTH glare. My daughter asked if we order here or sit down and order. She didn't say a word, just gave us a Hateful Glare, so we went to the seating area, saw the back counter had a sign that said order up front. We left. Not putting up with a Racist. We won't be back. We went and tried Sauce'd tonight. Food was great. We had the Honey Pep Texas Style pizza and the Bourbon Jam smash burger with fries. We also had the garlic cheese bread for an appetizer, not pictured. All of the food came out hot a fresh and very very good! The pizza had the cup pepperonis and a light drizzle of Mikes hot honey. It was good but not really my style of pizza, personal preference. The burger was delicious. Super meaty and the sauces on it complemented each other very well. The fries were hot and crispy, even after they sat for a while. I would definitely recommend this place but if you go just know the dining room is small, we had to wait a bit to be seated and the waiting area is not very big either. We don't live close enough to take out but would if we did. I definitely recommend this place just make sure you plan. We didn't get wings but the table next to use had some and they looked good too! read more

I just went to Sauce'd. My family ordered 2 pizza's and a burger. Pizza was good. My burger never came. The waiter was doing his best. After my girls were almost done eating he came by the table and said 4 minutes. I waited 10 minutes then went to the front counter and canceled my burger order. There are no adults in this restaurant. Nobody apologized or anything for the issue. Seriously nothing at all! My waiter had the ticket on the table within 30 seconds of me canceling the order. I watched them serve everyone in the room. Anyone who has ever cooked a smash burger knows it's the fastest burger there is to cook. They continued to serve everyone else burgers. Not sure I will ever give them another shot. There is a pizza place a block away named Mister 01 that is really good with great service. Hopefully this place gets better. Wow. We had a 25 minute wait but that just left me confident that the food was going to be good. The service was quick and accommodating. The restaurant had the vibe of a burger joint (which they also serve) but you could see the cooks throwing dough in the background. The Texas style crust was awesome, and crunchy. I heard lots about Sauce'd Pizza & Smash burgers, so I had to see what the hubbub was all about. We walked in at approximately 1130AM or 1145AM, and it was already busy. We were promptly greeted by a young lady and were seated. The place was already buzzing with customers eating and enjoying their selves. Our server was Ms. Alina, she was as pretty as a picture, sparkling eyes and kind smile. She brought us our drinks and took our orders. We had the classic burger, swiss & shrooms burger and jalapeno jack burger and seasoned fries. The fries were nice hot and very crispy and the best tasting fries in my humble opinion. All the burgers were so delicious that I vowed to come back for more. The service from staff was awesome especially from Ms. Alina which did a great job in serving us. She stayed busy going from table to table, but managed to give us the utmost attention. It's due to Ms. Alina and burgers for me to visit again and next not only will I come for Ms. Alina, ah, I mean burgers I will tackle a pizza too. Hope to see y'all there. read more

Pizza was very disappointing! Given the reviews we were excited to try Sauce'd. We ordered the Stroll in the Garden, Texas Style and wanted to add Hamburger. It was only about 6pm and they were out of Hamburger. Our waitress recommended the sopressata which did have a good flavor but it seemed weird to already be out of a protein at 6pm. When our pizza arrived, it was incredibly soggy. We chalked it up to the pizza having peppers and tried to enjoy it anyways. That was when we found a hair baked into the crust. Lunch break - only had a few minutes to each so no photos sadly. I had heard only good things about Sauce'd and it seems they are all true. Very similar to smashburger, but better. I ordered the swiss and mushrooms jalapeno burger and they let me sub out the swiss for pepper jack. It was so delicious. My friend had the jalapeno jack burger. Man, I don't really know what to say about this place. Maybe I just have bad luck or maybe it's just not meant to be. The first time I came here they were OUT OF FRIES!!! Yes you read that right. Good enough that I decided to give them another try when I wanted a good burger a few weeks later. I even called to make sure they weren't out of fries before making the drive. But to my surprise, my son and I sit down only to be told they can't make the bourbon jam burger because they are OUT OF THE BOURBON JAM!!! Smh. Neither time did I come right before closing or anything like that. Both times I got there hours before they closed. This time I just ordered a regular smash burger which was good, but not nearly as good as the bourbon jam burger imo. Very disappointed. I looked back through the reviews and while most are positive, our experience is pretty similar the less positive ones. Occasionally they are just missing the mark. We were there on a Saturday night, waited about 20 min for a table. The place is tiny which is why there's always a wait. We ordered a Texas pizza and two smash burgers. Although our server was very friendly, the kitchen was very slow. Our pizza took 15 min and the burgers almost 40 min. The explanation we got was that they were filling a "large to-go order." The Texas pizza was slightly burned and the burgers were dry and crunchy like chips. I like a crisp edge on my smash burger but this was too much.
