Just left here and wanted to write a review right away. We decided to take a leisurely non-highway…read moreroute from NH on our way to CT. So happy we did, otherwise we would not have found this place and everything about our lunch stop was top notch. The food was great, but the service was even better, which was a refreshing change. We were greeted right away by our friendly waitress Isabell. After we ordered and while we were waiting, I witnessed the camaraderie between staff. They were laughing and joking with each other, clearly they like what they do and care about one another. It's pretty small inside and the decor is charming - a mix of fun sayings and beachy things. There is a bar with seating and 4-6 tables. While we were waiting, Mike, the owner, came over to say hi and ask what we ordered. He was genuinely excited about the food he was about to serve and making sure we were happy with everything. He checked in with all tables. Our sandwiches were fresh, but let's talk about the pizza. No extra crust, sauce up to the edges. Perfect crisp to the wonderfully chewy crust. The sauce? Best sauce I've ever had. I told him I would drive the hour and a half just for his sauce. Perfect acidity, and very flavorful. Not overpowering. It was perfection, honestly. Mike brought over a pepperoni ranch sauce to try/drizzle if we wanted. A nice compliment to the pizza. Isabell checked on us a few times but was not intrusive at all. Loved her upbeat personality. They tried to talk us into canollis, but we were full. Now I'm curious about them and am regretting my decision. I may have to go back for another slice and try one. If you're in the area, please consider supporting this small business, they're wonderful!

I think if they didn't cook the pizza with the lettuce on it maybe it wouldn't have been as soggy - it did smell amazing though! The onion strings were really good but they had quite a kick to them, so much so it should really be mentioned in the menu so that you don't give them to kids. The steak and cheese grinder was good but did not have much flavor to it. The staff there were very friendly and it is a cute little spot though!

And sometimes it's a little bit better than school Pizza. But I will definitely still keep going there. Especially for their subs and fried dough bites. Other than the pizza (literally only two out of 10 times have we experienced this) they are consistently excellent!

The prices are average and the service has always been quick during none peak times. The pizza crust is always cooked perfectly. They put a very good amount of toppings on - they definitely don't skimp but it isn't overly soggy from them either. Their pizza cheese is not greasy and is always the right amount. We have tried lots of items from here now that have all been just as good. You wouldn't think alfredo sauce from a little pizza place could be note worthy but it really is - we have had it with tortellini, chicken broccoli alfredo and the shrimp broccoli alfredo. The baked spaghetti and meatballs was very tasty and my kids couldn't get enough.

On this cool spring visit, we sat inside at a corner table with a nice view of the lake. We ordered: Happy Hour Chicken Tacos ($8) Happy Hour Fish Tacos ($8) Fish & Chips Dinner ($21) Merlot ($9) Cabernet ($11) The tacos are normally $16 for three on the dinner menu, so getting four for that price during Happy Hour is a good deal. Results were mixed. Starting with the positive: the Fish Tacos were excellent. The haddock was perfectly cooked--crispy and flavorful--served in grilled flour tortillas with shredded iceberg lettuce, creamy slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle lime aioli. Really well done! The Chicken Tacos, on the other hand, were disappointing. The chipotle-braised chicken, along with the toppings, made them feel dense and soggy. Not something I would order again. The Fish & Chips was the biggest letdown. The fried haddock was thin and dry, and the fries were limp and not hot enough. The coleslaw was very good, though. Honestly, if they used the same haddock from the fish tacos here, it would be a big upgrade. Service was good overall, though the dinners took a while to arrive. Bottom line: 3 stars. Still the best restaurant option on the lake, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

The pickles were standard and the sauce was a bit sweet but ok. The wings were good but they charge for sauce which is disappointing but at least they were tasty. That's where the good review ends. Next up broccoli cheese soup. It was thin and curdled. Completely flavorless. Please don't bother I got a black and blue burger. It had dried apples and gorganzola. I asked for mid-well and this thing came out a black hockey puck. Totally in edible. The apple is breaded and fried and then a blue cheese sauce is on top which makes it completely soggy. Terrible. Husband got Cajun shrimp which was in a weird tomato sauce. The okra was so bad he spat it out. It could not even be chewed. Everything needed salt. Pass Diner 3 ordered a chicken sandwich with Nashville hot sauce. It tasted so bad he couldn't eat it. It also had cheese that was burnt under the grill. The fries were terrible. Maybe the grease needed to be changed? No thanks Diner 4 got the mushroom Swiss burger. The photo attached was his bun. He ordered it medium rare it was medium at best and was both dry and dripping with grease which is quite the feat. He choked down half but couldn't go on. Moving along The service was good but she definitely needed help. She was handling the bar and dining room herself so some things took a little time but she was kind and attentive. Having worked in restaurants my whole life I would have to say this place has potential but the cook defiantly needs some training on seasoning and attentiveness. The menu needs to be streamlined too. I would not go back and wouldn't tell anyone I knew to go. We've been home a couple hours and 3 out of 4 of us have stomachaches. There are better places.

I heard recently that they had a new owner and I had an elderly friend out from the nursing home for the day and she wanted to stop here for lunch as her and her late husband came here often. We stopped in on a weekday for lunch and it was pretty quiet in there except for a couple other tables taken. My friend wanted pizza and added a salad. While we were waiting the new owner came over to introduce himself and make sure we were all set. He's a nice young man and seems eager to make his business a success. My friends salad came out first and it was a big salad for 99 cents with a meal. She said it was delicious and they gave her plenty of salad dressing. Our pizza came out shortly and it was delicious, definitely one of the better pizzas I've had in town. The pizza had plenty of cheese/sauce ratio and it had a nice crispy bottom. I'm not sure how the rest of their meals are, but their pizza is worth getting again!

Seated in the back room near the kitchen. Very clean & a great vibe. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bar area was lively with only a couple seats left. I waited, and waited and finally my wine arrives but no ice (wouldn't it make sense to grab both b4 bringing it to the table) waiting for ice, waiting, waiting, waiting & thinking I should have brought my own ice. It finally arrived & I ordered the Baked Haddock w/ cracker stuffing, rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. Found 3 bones in the 1st few bites, not happy. Rice pilaf was undercooked, possibly the orzo or whatever is used, trying to avoid losing a filling. The broccolli was very good, cooked perfectly. I don't typically use salt & pepper but everything needed it. Not much flavoring on everything. Samantha finally stopped to ask how it was. Advised on fish bones & undercooked pilaf. She went right to the kitchen & advised the kitchen server. No one came to the table to inquire. The popcorn was made fresh but I had already been served my food. If I'll be waiting for food, I definitely appreciate the popcorn with my wine, which was Very good @ $8 a glass. No more fish or pilaf eaten till I get home to prepare for leftovers. At $17 I barely touched it and I was starving. Went up to the server when popcorn ready and asked for a bowl. Second bowl of popcorn needed to finish my wine. This never happens, but needing to eat something as I don't drink often. My comment card was started as soon as I arrived. Pictures taken of all menus, no specials yet. Overall not impressed & hoping my next visit will be improved on food service & food selection. Left roughly @ 5 ish. Two hours and still very hungry for the ride home & wishing I got the lava cake.
