Leoni's Brick Oven Pizzeria - Fried Dough Ball! So good! - Pizza Near Me - Dudley, Massachusetts

This has been our go to place from DoorDash for the last few months! Their steak and cheese, grinders rival Breen's (a local Worcester, MA gem) and some of the best steak and cheese places I've been to... And I have lived in Philadelphia! The bread is absolutely amazing and seems very fresh. The pizza is great! But the only complaint I do have is that the pizza seems a little bit inconsistent. Sometimes it's absolutely amazing... And sometimes it's a little bit better than school Pizza. But I will definitely still keep going there. Especially for their subs and fried dough bites. Other than the pizza (literally only two out of 10 times have we experienced this) they are consistently excellent! read more

This is a great local pizza place! You can tell that the family that runs it really cares about the food they sell. The prices are average and the service has always been quick during none peak times. The pizza crust is always cooked perfectly. They put a very good amount of toppings on - they definitely don't skimp but it isn't overly soggy from them either. Their pizza cheese is not greasy and is always the right amount. We have tried lots of items from here now that have all been just as good. You wouldn't think alfredo sauce from a little pizza place could be note worthy but it really is - we have had it with tortellini, chicken broccoli alfredo and the shrimp broccoli alfredo. The baked spaghetti and meatballs was very tasty and my kids couldn't get enough. read more

Have ordered delivery from them a few times since moving into the area. Never have had any issue with delivery and everything we've ordered has been good so far. read more

I'll start off by saying the woman (I'm assuming the owner) at the counter could not have been any nicer or accommodating. We ordered a meatball pizza a cheese pizza and an order of chicken fingers. She recommended the "homemade chicken fingers", we had the kids with us, two are fairly picky eaters. We could t have been happier with the food when it came out. The pizza was thin crust, perfectly cooked (tasted a lot like old school papa ginos) and the "homemade chicken fingers " were the biggest hit, especially with the 4 boys. Very impressed with the hospitality and quality of the food. The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking right out front. Will definitely be back. Ignore the old reviews, give it a shot !!!!!! read more

Ordered delivery of a simple Margherita Pizza (tomato, mooz and basil leaves) and was delivered a stale pizza with feta, bacon and what looked like some type of dried out crumbled sausage. Noodles basil, no tomato. It was late at night and it looks like they just took somebody else's pizza who ordered earlier in the evening and did not pick up, then threw it in a box and (without any warmer being used) delivered what would have been a "throw away" at the end of the day. So it went right into the trash (I'm a vegetarian) - $50 with delivery fee and tip thrown away. read more

Great food, good people and very fast service and delivery. It is a casual place and relaxing environment.

Very clean restaurant, everything is made fresh, the pizza is quality products not the cheap cheese other places use.

We were in the area visiting friends and other recommended this place for some takeout. It's a small family run pizza spot. The staff were all very sweet. Pizza was delicious! We also got an order of breadsticks that came with dipping sauces. Not a bad deal either! read more

Love Leoni's! Great food and always such nice people that work there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pizza place to try.

So y'all offer free delivery but when you mess up the order it's "door dash" fault. Y'all def didn't doordash our food. Also food was crap and not what I asked for. Happy 1 star read more

I have been satisfied form Leoni's plenty of times but after tonight and seeing this I might just go to Big Al's or jimmy's (Both in Dudley) read more

WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS. DONT ASK FOR THE PRICES OF ITEMS ON THE PHONE BECAUSE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM YOU WILL BE LOOKED AT AS BROKE. avoid leonies pizza at all costs in Dudley they are extremely rude. i called the other day about my salad with hair in it & they were closed yesterday & she wanted to know why i didnt open the salad for 4 hours. because i got the salad at 1 pm & my break at work is 6???? like what & then she insisted that im asking stuff for free then tells me i have no money because i asked about the price for the tenders because i asked what's the smallest they had because i had a salad already & asked if there was ranch inside the box ? because it usually comes with it. just wondering which was FINE because i have ranch at home. im so so so angry right now could cry. ended up crying while waiting there because it was just so overwhelming being called names & broke by an owner. CRAZY. also adding on to like the fact that i asked when i picked up my food i was just asking if ranch was in the bag like it's no big deal it wasn't. i just knew i had some at home so i didn't have to charge my card the 75 cents or whatever for ranch because i didn't have cash on me. once i started crying she was trying to come up to me & i was like NO i just want to leave. she refunded the entire order as i told her to only do the salad because i DO not need the money she really ruined my entire day over a salad THEY had hair in. read more

This is a great family run restaurant with great food! The salads are fantastic and the homemade pita bread that comes with it is out of this world! The homemade chips are worth every penny and all of the subs and sandwiches are very good. This is our go to place when we take out. 100% recommend! read more

We eat here a couple times a month, they have good food. It's a family run business, some of the nicest people you can meet. I'd imagine the negative posts about the owners originate from the bar next door as the businesses share a small parking lot. Also, the bar just started serving food so now theres competition. Parking is tight and having to ask people to move vehicles can't be easy. If your 3 assigned parking spaces in a strip mall were continually occupied by drunks, you'd be pissed off too. Really obvious who is talking trash. Please don't believe any negative comments about this family run business read more

This is a ZERO rated establishment. I have ordered from there many times and have had minimal problems. However, for the past few times, I have indicated 'NO CONTACT' WITH SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS TO PLACE ORDER IN THE CART AT THE DOOR. They DO NOT do this. Tonight, I called up and asked for the manager. I received an obnoxious woman who REFUSED to provide her name and REFUSED to allow me to speak to a manager unless I told her why I was calling. I said I was calling to COMPLAIN. She REFUSED to allow me to speak to a manager unless I told her what the complaint was first. Then when I was explaining that they DID NOT HONOR my NO CONTACT instructions, she started yelling at me about how many orders they have and how many people want NO CONTACT. She than stated that if I didn't like the way they delivered, then I didn't need to order. Okay, I WON'T!!! I will also provide this exact review on as many review sites as I can find!!! Also, the delivery driver, after NOT HONORING THE NO CONTACT INSTRUCTIONS, shoved the cart that I had placed outside my door for the items to be placed into far enough so that I had to step out IN THE RAIN to retrieve it!!! I will leave to go outside (I have to since I am AN ESSENTIAL WORKER) however, that driver's actions are NOT needed or appreciated!!! read more

If I could rate this at a zero, I would. I waited an hour for delivery, food was wrong, told the manager he could have it back and I'd take a refund, he said no and that they would make the food again, waited another hour, food was ice cold and when I asked to speak with the manager again, he got on the phone, realized it was me calling again and lied and said the managers are off until Friday and he can't do refunds. The delivery driver told me that he was the manager.. absolutely terrible food, terrible slow service, and the manager is extremely rude and doesn't care about customers. Never again.. read more

Stopped in here mid week with my daughter for a late lunch/early dinner with my daughter. We shared the dining room with a couple of UPS drivers who were obviously regulars and hogged the TV remote. There was a steady flow of people which is always a good sign. Being first timers, we walked up to the counter to look at the menu which was quite large. We decided to split a chicken finger dinner with fries and a salad, along with an order of onion rings. The wait was within reason and the staff was nice enough to bring the food to the table for us as well as making a return trip with some ketchup. Perhaps they felt sorry for me as I was still in a walking boot. The food was a deliciously greasy. This was not the meal for the health conscious eater. Definately worthy of a return visit. read more

Okay food usually but absolutely terrible approach to customer service! We were just denied using a gift certificate we bought there ourselves for someone who was housesitting for us that never used it. They said they didn't recognize the signature? That's not our problem?! So we are out $30 and get a lack luster dinner. Thanks Leoni's we won't be back. read more

The food is horrible! We ordered two pizzas and a order of buffalo tenders with a side of rice and a salad. The pizza was not cooked, the buffalo wings were tenders with a side of hot sauce. The salad, what salad? The salad never made it to my house...... but the dressing did. read more

If you're looking for good pizza in town I would say Leoni's is at the bottom and doesn't fare any better than it endeavors to. I ordered the eight piece buffalo chicken wings, a meat lover's pizza, and a Mexican wrap. The pizza is the definition of cardboard as there is just barely a hint of sauce, the toppings are sparse, and the crust is simply there to gnaw on. Pizza is slightly understandable but how can you mess up on wings? The wings were completely soggy and tasted like they were drowned in the bottled Buffalo sauce by an angry kitchen prep. The Mexican wrap was generic as it comes like the rest of the food. Overall I'm disappointed. It's only serviceable if you're truly hungry but I would honestly give Leoni's a pass because there's better food to be found elsewhere. read more

Everytime we order it's at least 1 hour. Tonight was 3 hours. Everytime we called they told us the driver was going to be there in 15 minutes. We called 3 times and each time was the same. We ordered salads, pasta and a Panini. Not a completed meal. This place is the worst. read more

Other than the friendly young lady at the front taking orders, this place sucks. It took 25 minutes to get a cold sub and veggie paninni for pickup. In the middle of eating, my friend found a 2-3 inch piece of plastic in her sub. Left very disappointed and hungry. Go to Big Al's down the street instead. You could order and have your food delivered by the time Leoni's starts to make your food. No good, boo boo. read more

I've heard several bad things about this place. Frankly, I think I finally understand why. For the first time in the history of pizza in this godforsaken town, greek style isn't your only choice. Here's the problem with that, these old townies don't handle change so well. Finally for once, you don't have to travel to the nearest metropolis, to indulge in some New York style goodness. Its all there folks. Super thin hand tossed crust, excellent "foldability", slightly tangy sauce, and just enough cheese. There is far less gnawing to be done on this crust than any greek style, grease saturated, chewy, thick crust than literally any other place within Dudley/ Webster. Real mozzarella in an appropriate proportion, not the usual greek mix of who knows what kind of cheap cheese "blend" (often a mix of mild and sharp cheddars, and perhaps a little mozzarella if you're lucky) If you're unfamiliar with regional pizza variations, and are on a quest to expand your pallet, give it a try. If you've only ever had greasy, pan cooked, cheap greek junk, approach this pizza as you would a completely different food. Almost as if you've never had pizza before, because truth is; you haven't. Also take-out has a tendency to be soggy since its been steaming in a closed container for however long it took for you to open it up, don't be thrown off by claims of sogginess, its natural, its science. Unless you are eating there, expect a bit of sogginess. Don't get me wrong, this place is great, but they have yet to invent a containment device that defies the laws of science. read more

Best ham and cheese panini, and their house chips are second to none! Delivery is a little slow, though. Don't order delivery if you're in a hurry. read more

Picked up dinner this week. Pizza smelled delicious but I felt it was a little bland. I typically love this style pizza and the charred crust but this has an overwhelming burnt flavor. Not charred, burnt residue like when you don't properly "clean" a grill (didn't taste seasoned, just burnt). Chicken tenders were okay. Fried zucchini saved the order: stayed crispy despite the delay getting it home and the meat sauce/marinara was delicious. I love the ability to order online. read more

In this land of Greek pizza overload, I am thrilled that there is finally a local pizza place that knows about tossed pizza! Have never been disappointed with any of the pizzas we have ordered. I would rather eat in, but either way it's good. Owner is a sweetheart who recognizes and appreciates return customers. Front of the house could use a little help so had to delete one star. read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. We ordered a pizza that was soaked in grease. It was not edible my any means. We kindly asked the "manager" if there was anything he could do to accommodate us in which he rolled his eyes and was not happy to help. At that point we asked for a refund to be put back on the card, his response was that he had to make a phone call to his boss in order to do so which was bullshit because he did not even hold the phone up to his ear long enough for the phone to ring. I have never been treated with such poor customer service in my life. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO EAT HERE AGAIN. If I could rate this place with no starts I totally would. read more
