. Ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap, the wrap was hard stale and broke into pieces, chicken was maybe 2 1/2 ounces in weight, fries just warm surely did not just come out of the fryolator. Overpriced and not worth the money. As far as for the other sandwich, no where in the same ball park as Golden Greek in Attawaugan, Lake Pizza could take lessons on what a Turkey Club sandwich should look like. $50 for 2 unfilled sandwiches, warm onion rings with 2 $ 4 16 oz sodas should be a crime. First time my husband and I visited here while we were waiting for his car to be serviced, and let me tell ya, we were not disappointed. We got a pepperoni pizza & fries to share. The pizza was DELICIOUS & we can be pizza snobs. The portions are very generous & the staff was very attentive. Lake pizza is OK, it's not as good as Dairy Express in Oxford or Dudley House of Pizza, but it's good. Way better than P&D Pizza in Oxford. I think the grinders are better than the pizzas here. read more

My 2 sister's and fiance and myself went there for lunch. Service was great. Prices were great as well. The food was regular food ---- cooked just right! The atmosphere is also great, not a tone of loud music so you CAN hear the person sitting across from you! Good for to our table hot and yummy. This local pizza place has a great variety of foods besides pizza that they do well. We have tried steak tips, fish specials and many other things. Their pizzas are always full of toppings. Their wraps are huge and come with french fries for a very reasonable price. If by some chance, they make something wrong they always work to correct it the best way possible for you. read more

We had Carl's Oxford Diner in mind for lunch today, but upon our arrival there, were disappointed to learn that they were closed from 9/5 thru 9/17 (whether it was for renovations or just vacation, we do not know). We considered a couple of places in Oxford and Webster, but finally decided to check in at an old haunt of ours: Lake Pizza. We had not been in over 20 years, and were surprised and happy to see the changes that had taken place there, mainly, the addition of a bar, and the new and improved dining room. The two of us were promptly seated in a very comfortable/roomy booth and served by a very pleasant young lady. Although we found many of the menu items tempting, we knew we wanted pizza. The meatball and ricotta combo we had (loaded with toppings, including an abundance of gooey mozzarella) was quite tasty and too huge for us to finish (we brought half of it home). My companion enjoyed a cold Sam Adams draft ($3.50), and I, an iced tea. While we did have to wait the requisite 20 minutes for the pizza, the service of our drinks was prompt, as was the delivery of our check when we requested it. We would not hesitate to return and venture from pizza to their other menu items when in the area again. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place. Never order food in, but didn't wanna go out or cook tonight. I didn't want the local, typical pizza chain so decided to try here. 1) Their web link here has VERY different prices than what they really are. According to their link, my order was $20-$21; it was almost $26 but I thought, "okay whatever". 2) The pizza taste reminded me 100% of Digiornos (no joke). I'm not picky when it comes to pizza but neither one of us could eat more than 1 slice. Seriously...that Digiorno taste is still in my mouth. 3) The onion rings!!!! $6 for a bag of grease with mushy, broken rings. It would be nice if they wrapped them in paper, aluminium, anything...or, throw them in a little box or container​, being that greasy. Or ...if they were a little bit ummm....crispy. The bag was dripping grease which got all over my counter. 95% of the rings were inedible. $6 isn't a lot but sucks when it's flushed down the toilet. Needles to say, after $28.50 (with tip), we are still hungry and VERY disappointed. That $ could have gone a long way. read more

Not the best place to eat but it's good when you need something convenient! We don't normally get takeout here - we go in and eat when we want something casual. The staff is always nice! I think most of the entrees come with a soup or salad. My mom and I both got salads and they were pretty underwhelming but not horrible. I got the eggplant parmesan which was good! But something super weird; the water tasted absolutely awful. Like I don't know if it's just Webster water, but it tastes SO BAD. My mom and sister both tried it too and agreed. This was actually the first place I ordered pizza from when I moved to MA in '98. this is also where I learned not to order a pie (if you're from NY, you understand) and that I could no longer order a slice. Yelpers don't lie! I read the mixed reviews on this place and decided to give it a try anyway. The reviews were fair. I was looking for a local place that had a good mix of choices to please my crew. Here's my take: The Good 1. Extensive menu. If everyone in your party isn't on the same page, you could dine/order from here and still make everyone happy. 2. The food. Big portions, well seasoned, hit the mark. Not a culinary masterpiece, but good solid comfort food that delivered on expectations. I would definitely order again. 3. Location. Easy to find, easy to get to in the Blackstone valley, and plenty of parking. 4. Atmosphere. Overall; cute place, clean, good family dinner spot. Comfortable and casual. Friendly folks. The Bad. 1. Service. The reviews weren't wrong. Drinks don't get refilled until you beg desperately. Salads, soups, came outside late we almost forgot about them and were expecting our dinners. Servers seemed to have too large of sections. There was no oversight on the dining room. 2. Management. Having good food is not enough. Someone needs to get into the dining room and know what's going on. Check on your guests, refill drinks, make sure food is getting expedited. This is clearly not happening. I would have given this place a 4 star rating for the food, but the 2 star rating for service brought me to my final rating. I would order take out, but not likely to dine in again. They are open for business at 11 on Saturdays, however they didnt awnser their phone nor have the doors unlocked until 1130. Ordered a chicken parm sub it was ok. Sadly this place has gone downhill over the years. The pizza slowly went from awesome to having a flavorless frozen bread dough taste. Our last visit I had the eggplant parmesan. The crust fell off completely and turned the dish into a pile of mush. The eggplant was so tough I couldn't cut it with a knife. If you get stuck going there order a grinder. We just moved to Webster so we are trying all the local restaurants. Lake pizza advertises lasagna, so we went. In spite of the lasagna draw we ended up with the Steak Bomb calzone, broccoli/chix Alfredo and the Roma platter, which is a wonderful assortment of chix cutlet, meatballs, Italian sausage on ziti. The calzone was stuffed and crunchy. My daughter ate all the broccoli first as it was steamed perfect before going into the cheesy Alfredo sauce. After the fact, for me, a grilled chix cutlet would have been better, however, I ate the cutlet without complaint. The atmosphere was calm yet inviting. The restaurant is clean and I did not walk out smelling like food (which is a huge issue for me). I can't wait to try more!! read more

I ordered a cobb salad and I got something different. Cobb salads aren't all mixed up like a tossed salad but this one was. It had no avocado or hard boiled eggs as it should have. Carrots don't belong in a cobb but there they were! Also grilled chicken was supposed to be in it...not turkey cold cuts. Pretty much the best place to eat in Webster. Lake pizza has a good clean feel when you walk in through the front door which is always nice. Bar is solid but could use a couple more drafts on tap. The menu is Italian heavy but it's solid in terms of choices and quality. I haven't had a bad meal come out of their kitchen in the at least dozen times I have visited. Also a great place to watch a baseball, basketball, football, or hockey game and have a beer or four. read more
