Great traditional Italian fare in an informal setting. Very nice local restaurant. Service and food were both excellent.

I do truly love ziti's and have for over 30 years. I have really enjoyed their pizzas and their pastas. Unfortunately, in the past month, things have not been so great. Exactly a month ago we had gotten a plain cheese pizza which was phenomenal like it always has been. Then about two weeks ago we got another large cheese pizza and it was absolutely terrible. It was as if they changed the cheese or the sauce and the dough was not very good. We tried again the week after and it was exactly the same. No change just terrible Pizza all across the board. We had friends and family try it just this past week and they commented about the same exact thing. I don't know what these guys are doing, but they need to go back to the original recipe of how they have been making their pizza for all these years because we do not like it. We don't want to see this place fail in fact we're rooting for it and hope that they see this and will make a dramatic change to what everybody has been loving for all these years! read more

Had never been here but gave it a shot. We had an incredible experience. We went early and the server was fabulous. Efficient and had a personality. Portions are enormous. Chicken broccoli ziti, chicken Parmesan and garlic bread were some of the best we have had in a while. We also now have dinner tomorrow! We will be back. read more

We ordered takeout tonight for the first time tonight. The unexpected free bread was chewy, warm and delicious. Highlight of the meal, for sure. We ordered a Greek salad and they erroneously sent us the lamest house salad instead - iceberg lettuce, mealy tomato slices, not much else. The chicken parm entree was huge but dry and way overcooked. I filled up on the bread, so didn't even try the big plate of ziti that came with it - maybe tomorrow for lunch. Had a really great dinner with my family. One child is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her to choose from. My husband is picky when it comes to seafood and sauce, but loved the meal he got. I typically only like homemade Italian food and this definitely got my approval. We drove into town late and was finding a casual place to get some dinner as a party of six. We picked Ziti's because it only minutes away. The place was pretty empty late on a Thursday night, but our waiter was engaging and super nice. I ordered the Mussels over Linguini and I couldn't believe my eyes. The portion size here was enormous and I thought this must've been a joke. A huge plate was put down in front of me that was larger than my face and filled with linguini. Oh and filled with mussels. So many mussels lined the circumference of the plate. There were more than 23 large mussels. And to prank me harder, the whole thing was delicious. The linguini was coated just right with flavorful sauce, and the mussels were plump and super tasty. Dang Ziti's, I don't live here, but I might still be back some day. read more

Everything is just wonderful here. Been coming here for nearly 20 years and surprisingly I've not Yelped them. We'll really, everything is really good. I've had the pizza here as well as a litany of pasta dishes. The best thing they had, and I am going to see if they still have it tonight is the stuffed Eggplant Rollatini which is just heaven. Great salads, especially the Caparese which the Buffalo Mozzerella is made on-site Friendly and wonderful staff. Very clean facility. Got the mussels fra diavolo and the sauce was one of the best I've had, tons of mussels a mountain of linguine and a side meatball for good measure. Not a good experience! I called in a cheese pizza for takeout. They were abrupt on the phone, said 20 minutes, and hung up. I arrive, no pizza. They start talking to each other (not in English so I don't know what the conversation was), and one guy says he will make the pizza. Moments later, another guy brings a box with a pizza in it and rings up the order. I get back and find the pizza is cold. I realized then that they gave me the pizza they must keep on standby for slices. Also, the box didn't look exactly clean and I wonder if it was a fresh new pizza box or not. I have been coming to Ziti's regularly over the past few years. We usually do takeout so I can't speak to how the staff is if you are dining in. Typically we are usually ordering pizza. My favorites are the Calabria and the Pasquale's Special pizza. Good ingredients and clearly hand thrown pizzas so usually what we pick. I have also gone with their subs on occasion. I like the steak and cheese options, but would not recommend the chicken parm. However unless I am completely not in the mood for pizza, I would recommend sticking with that. The pasts dishes are good. If I do have the chicken parm, I would recommend it in this form rather then the sandwich. Otherwise in short, a good place for pizza, and the other standard Italian dish offerings. read more

Let the looks deceive you, as I was in the mood for Italian this was definitely not the right choice. The meatballs were cooked from frozen and just barely warm in the middle. I almost threw up from the chicken, definitely could not eat it. The bruschetta was the best part and it wasn't even that good, I could have easily made it at home for way cheaper. After only a couple bites I got up and went to Chick-fil-A, I could not finish my food. I have no idea where all the 5 star reviews are coming from, but they are not deserved. Terrible service, and less than average food. We ordered carry out, and when we went to pick up the food, it was about half an hour before closing. It was pretty empty and all of the chairs have been put up on the tables except one table. When we went to the counter to pay, the man at the register was extremely rude. He tossed my credit card back at me, but then also threw the pen at my face to sign the receipt. I was taken aback for the rude gestures. I told him that the pen he gave me didn't work, but he told me that he had no other pens, so just sign it. The food was disappointing as well. We ordered a cheesesteak and an italian sub. The cheesesteak had no flavor and there was too much bread compared to the insides for the italian. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Went in with a group of friends. They were already seated so we waited for the hostess to seat us. She did not address us for a long period of of time so we just cleaned up the table next to our friends ourselves. My 2 year old was very hungry so I put her food on the table. 10 mins later the waitress finally come to us with an extremely rude attitude and she mentioned that no outside food was allowed (my children's food) and she started spraying with her table cleaner all over the table (including my child's food). To my disbelief I asked her how could she dare spray cleaner on a toddler's food. Asked for the manager who said that she can not do that and should have not done that. We told the waiter that we were leaving and that we could not stay in a place with such bad customer service and decided to pack our belongings to leave. The waiter replied and said: "good leave!". I called a day after to follow up with the manager as he said he was going to work on the issue himself. He claimed that he was not the same manager that worked on Sunday (7/2) and hung the phone up. I had never been to Ziti's before and ordered a head of time. They graciously took my order over the phone when I couldn't get the online ordering to work. I presented a gift certificate that was given to me a few years ago when I was going through a divorce. I don't live nearby so I held it and forgot I had it. Decided to order ahead and take the food home. I was given a hard time for having it and was told it was a long time ago and the girl who signed it didn't work there anymore and she failed to stamp it. Very upsetting as this was my first visit there and I felt like how is this my fault? Plus It was paid for so they already got their money for it. I never want to say anything negative about anyplace, but you might want to re-think how you handle these situations. Sadly I won't be back...:( read more

Ordered 4 pizzas online, totaling $100. Got there and they looked at me like I had three heads. They didn't put paper in the printer so never got the online order. I asked to get reimbursed and the manager said it would take them 10m to make. Rather than offer a discount etc, he actually blamed me for not calling it in instead. They rushed the pizzas, they were half cooked, all the ingredients and cheese on half the pizza, and they did one of the worse cut jobs ever with some slices 2inches wide and others the size of 3 pieces. Brocoli was raw on one pizza. Called to complain and the manager said I was making it up. So done with this place. Edit* Manager called back to educate me that only 2 of my 4 pizzas should've had problems with it. Said I need to bring them back. A) How dare you call me a liar when your laziness (not putting paper in the printer) caused the initial issue with the order, and then you blame your laziness on me; and B) how dare you "knowingly" send me home with at least 2 pizzas that are crap and then tell me to bring it back to you. read more

After previously ready enjoying the Natick location about a year ago, we were happy to find another Ziti's near our hotel in Northborough. This location is in a strip mall, but is nice and cozy inside if you put your back to the takeout counter, it feels like a traditional restaurant. Unfortunately, this felt like a cheap, strip mall knockoff that it was. The server, while very sweet and friendly, was somewhat clueless and inadequate. The food felt like the minor league version of what we got in Natick. Acceptable and more than just good, but not nearly as great as the other location. The garlic bread was awful. Plain and simple. Undercooked, over basil-ed and not worthwhile at all. Truly bad. Avoid it. The bread that is provided at the table is said to be delicious anyway. I can't speak to it because the server never brought any. The tortellini was tasty and in a nice sauce. The meatballs were substantial, dense and tasty. My daughter's meatball calzone was more cheese than calzone. She pulled a huge taffy pile of cheese out onto the plate like taffy and didn't even make a dent in it. The bread though was fresh and tasty. Nice people, good, not great food in large portions (it's better to have a little less, great food in my opinion) and reasonable prices male this a place worth visiting I'd you're hungry, but not memorable in any way.
