I frequently stop at Panera for takeout on my way to Webster Lake. Overall, it's a solid choice and one of the healthier fast-casual options in the area. The positives: Orders are usually ready on time. Portion sizes are generous. The strawberries and mandarin oranges are consistently fresh. The newer diced chicken is a nice improvement. The negatives: The pineapple and avocado can be inconsistent. On this visit, both could have been much riper. We've had the occasional order accuracy issue. I was disappointed to see the chicken thigh option removed from the menu. Despite a few inconsistencies, Panera remains a reliable stop for a good salad or sandwich and is generally a healthier alternative to most fast-food choices. read more

Sheesh! A lot of haters for this particular Panera. As the Duke of this spot, I have been on more than one occasion. Never, have I ever had a bad experience‍. Typically, I order through the app while I'm out and about in the area. They give an approximate time of completion. This is usually very timely. Pull up to curbside and check in. Within a minute or two I'm holding a bag of food! The presentation is great, not just thrown together. Not sure I've ever experienced an error in my order. Fast, consistent, delicious! Strawberry Poppyseed Salad Ok first, I was a big fan until my last 2 visits often going twice a week during Strawberry Poppyseed Salad time. However, 1st time - go in and try and order my salad looking forward to it, I get it ordered using do it yourself machine. I had a gift card and it kept getting declined but knew I had $20 in it. I ordered online curbside pick up got there and I waited and I waited and I waited. I did respond to the app saying that I was in slot three. They text me that it was already but it never came out. Kind of a weird review i'm sure, and not about the food (although the cheese brittany was AMAZING) but while passing through i stopped for a coffee and snack and wound up accidentally locking my puppy, keys, wallet, and phone all in the car. The employees were SOOOO sweet and helpful, made all the phone calls for me, made sure i had a new coffee and my three year old had a bottle of water and a snack. They seriously made the experience way less stressful than it could've been and i am soooo appreciative of them. Slowest Panera I have ever been to, not even busy including takeout board and it took 20 minutes to get a sandwich and a bagel on one attempt and 20 minutes on another attempt to get 2 mav and cheeses. It's just Panera. It's small, nice and clean. The Vegetable soup was better than I thought it would be. I stopped off at Panera so I could do some work by filling out a survey I needed to do. After about 1 hour during which I ate and used my computer, the internet shut off and said I had timed out and try to log on at 2:00 which was an hour away. She didn't want to wait and cut in front of us went behind the counter and went to the register and put an order in for herself. This location recently opened here in Webster along with a drive thru which we used. Not sure if I've seen one at a Panera before but tried this one. Staff was all smiles. My only problem with it was the ten minutes it took to get my food. I'm not complaining about the wait, it's better then having the food pre made and ready to go. I was traveling back to Vermont after camping in Connecticut and stopped for a roasted turkey avocado sandwich. It was yummy and of course the coffee was too, but the best part was the service. I had trouble with my rewards card and the cashier took care of it with a smile. Once I had my meal-to-go in hand I headed home. About 100 miles later I discovered I'd left my house keys on the counter when I grabbed the bag. I called and spoke with two employees, including the manager. They were so helpful, friendly and got the keys back to me quickly. I count on Panera for a good meal, but the people at the Webster branch really made a difference in my day. Thank you! read more

Worst Panera around! The manager needs to tender their resignation or give back their paycheck due to complete negligence. Most of the blame should go on me for repeatedly going back to this location. This is the 3rd time in the last 8 months they forgot to give me part of a meal either through drive thru or delivery. Lunch today was just okay. Tried the pick 2 with turkey apply cheddar sandwich (on sourdough) and Thai chicken salad. Hated the sandwich. It was wet, too much cheese and the turkey was clumped into the middle making it hard to eat. Just gross texture. I didn't like the flavor overall either but I won't blame them for that as it's not necessarily a matter of sloppy execution. Salad was okay if not good. "Roasted" carrots were hard as a rock but looked caramelized, I picked them out. Dressing had more spice than expected and was good with the chicken. Side of bread was soft but not the "artisanal" (use that term loosely) style I'm used to. It had a waxy exterior and no real flavor. read more

Always have great experiences at Panera of Webster. Staff is always very friendly and greet you as soon as I walk in the door. Sandwiches and soup are always very fresh and nice size portions. Panera used to be my most favorite fast casual restaurant, but lately they are sliding down a not very appetizing slope. Customer service is very lacking. I wanted a tune sandwich without the bread, but wanted cheese added. I never got the cheese. The sales associate was not very interested in actually listening to our order. When i pay $40 for a sandwich and 1/2 and 2 cups of soup, 1 bowl of soup and 2 cookies. Almost $4 for a kitchen sink cookie. Too expensive and quality is not like it used to be. Very sad. read more
