Lake Pizza is our go-to for takeout in Webster. Their food is usually consistent (there's been a few bad deliveries here and there.) Their menu has enough coverage to please just about anyone ordering. The pizza is definitely better than your typical "town name" house of pizza shops you come across everywhere and their delivery people are just so nice and timely! Ordered from here today for the first time and I have to say I was quite disappointed. I ordered the Captain Jack's seafood platter which came with two sides and chowder. I also ordered a loaded baked potato. Upon opening it, I noticed all of the packaged condiments were on top of the fish. Completely unsanitary! I also noticed my sides weren't there. They forgot my coleslaw and fries. There was a sad looking little dried out potato with a few pieces of bacon, barely any cheese and a package of warm sour cream sitting on top of it. Because all of the cold condiments being on top of my food- it was completely cold. I tried a couple of bites but the food was soggy, over cooked (the shrimp was like shoe leather) and tasteless. The chowder was lukewarm but was good after adding a ton of salt and pepper. Threw it all out after a few bites. The cherry on top was that the prices were not the same online as in the takeout menu. I called and the person I spoke to seemed a little uninterested in what I was saying. He did offer to replace the meal- but I declined. Why would I need to eat the same, dull meal again? Since they swapped out their traditional pizza oven for the conveyor oven, the crusts on their pizzas *always* have a wet, soggy bottom. They've also reduced the size of their large pizzas by a couple of inches, yet the prices also went up. A large pizza has way too much spare room inside their "large" pizza box. There are much better choices for pizza in the Webster area. Unless you like underdone crusts, avoid Lake Pizza. read more

Such a great place to get food, whether it be eating it there or taking it to go. Love their clam strips and any seafood...actually, i love all the food there!! Only problem: time quoting on their take out...one night we were told 10-15 mins and we ended up waiting 45. I understand how you never know when you will get a rush (i was a hostess once before) but still 15 mins compared to 45 is a bit much. still good food though :) read more

The Good: Pizza arrived fast! Delivery guy was nice. Reasonably priced. The Bad: The entire thing was flavorless. No seasonings to speak of, probably due to a serious sauce deficiency. The Ugly: Pizza was way under cooked. Still blonde, no crisp to speak of. It was raw dough in the middle, and there was, again, barely any sauce. Ordered a Sausage, Mushroom, and ricotta cheese. The sausage was sliced so thin it looked like deli meat, and the mushrooms were canned. the ricotta was in a few ungenerous blobs around the top layer. My family and I been going here for years and it used to be pretty good and consistent but has been going downhill for awhile. Then, the last time we ordered pizza from here, the cheese was still white, no sign of browning whatsoever, and the crust was barely cooked. Lake pizza used to be great 4 years ago when we first started ordering/dining in. Lately (the past 10 orders) the food has been soggy, wrong, or we're always missing something (side salad, drink, etc.) it's just not enjoyable anymore. Phone staff is very rude as well. We've gotten take out from here a couple times and the price hasn't been worth what you get, especially compared to other area take out places. Lake Pizza is basically the culinary equivelant of a toddler wearing his father's clothes. It's what happens when a low rent pizza joint fancies itself as a mid-level restaurant. I have been to Lake Pizza three times since moving to Webster, and I can easily say that I will not be returning. On my first visit I had the chicken alfredo, which was easily the worst Alfredo I have ever tasted. The sauce lacked any flavor, instead tasting like a thick cream. On my second visit I tried the pizza, which wasn't bad. Itn was edible, just not great. On my final visit I tried the chicken parmesian, which was okay. With the exception of thei chicken Alfredo, the food isn't that bad. Whatt makes Lake Pizza two stars is the fact that they are terribly overpriced. For example, tonight I paid $13 for chicken parmesian. A miile and a half down the street (at Northeast Pizza) I can get the same dish for $6.25! There are times when I dong mind paying that much for chicken parm, like when the restaurant uses fresh chicken breast. But when Lake Pizza charges $13 for about 40 cents of pasta, a frozen piece of processed chicken, and a bread stick, I just dint see any reason why I would ever want to pay $13 when I can get the same thing down the road for $6.25. read more

We go here quite often for lunch, and an occasional dinner. The pizza, calzones, grinders and such are delicious. Very dependable that it's going to be just as you hoped. The other things on the menu that we've tried, that would be considered "dinner" type plates are "okay". Unfortunately I believe that the vegtables are frozen, and I believe the fries are as well. The fish has mostly been over cooked. Overall we stick with the "sandwiches or pizza" type meals and are never disappointed. I wish they would make all of their food fresh. That would make a big difference on what we order. But again, I can't say enough about the pizza. I live 20 minutes away, and I prefer Lake's pizza over anything in my own area. read more

First time LAST time!!! Ordered baked Haddock and a baked potato with veg, OMG the potato was so dried out it looked like it sat out for a week. the veg was no better! Haddock had no taste and was also dried out. I asked for fries because the baked potato was not good. Waitress brought a plate full but didn't seem to care about the dried out food. I barely ate anything! An older woman was walking around checking on people I assume the owner she asked me if I wanted to wrap what I hadn't eaten, I told her it was all dried out and I didn't like it. She then told me that my husband would it it! No one there seem to care how bad their food was . Inconsistent..... Recently placed a really simple order - two steak and cheese grinders. What a huge disappointment. Steak was tough and grissly. Some cheese was slapped on. It took approximately 20 minutes after we ordered cocktails to be delivered. The food was good the waitress had too many tables to attend to and we had to wait 15 minutes for her to bring our check and then after 20 minutes we had to hunt her down to pay the bill. Not good!! read more
