two take out containers of food

So far this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant to replace Wind Tiki...except it's way better (except the egg rolls, Wind Tiki had the best)!!! We've been a couple of times for takeout and everything was delicious and hot. We got the pupu platter, beef fried rice and beef lo mein and we loved it all. Everything tasted much fresher than we got at Tiki. We haven't tried eat in yet to try their drinks and check out their atmosphere and service, but we will soon.

Food was excellent. Sorry of a small parking lot. Got the egg drop soup and general taco chicken which was really good. Price point was good. They serve their dishes in plastic take out containers which is a good concept as you are always having to ask for to-go containers anyway. All in all, was a good place.

Visiting my beautiful girlfriends hometown and stopped in Himalaya Wok for a quick bite just 15 mins before closing. While a lot of places would turn you away so close to quitting time Himalaya wok welcomed us with open arms. Not only was the service quick, the food was delicious and very affordable. We split the beef teriyaki skewers and the crab Rangoon's over a (complimentary) drink and enjoyed a nice quiet atmosphere. I could not recommend this place enough if you have the time to stop in!! 5 stars.

two cups of coffee on a table

This place use to be my go to Chinese place. Ordered for the first time in about a year. What a disappointment! Half my order was missing, ordered extra mustard I got two tiny things of it. This place has been getting really cheap now. They're not cutting orders in half. Got a small spring roll and legit got ONE roll. Use to get more than one. Never again. Looks like I'll have to travel out of Webster for Chinese

a container of noodles and meat

Used to order at work in Webster all the time. Got this late night last night. Pupu for 2 and house lo mein. The lo mein was only noodles and pork and DRY!! So insanely dry I had to take a sip of my beverage after each bite. The chicken wings were still pink and bloody and not well cooked. Spare ribs were mainly fatty/cartilage. Chicken fingers were also soo dry. Not happy to pay almost 50 bucks for this.....

For fast American Chinese food you can't beat it. Food is always done quick and hot when we pick it up.

Fast, convenient and cheap. Crab ragoons are yummy but the pork fried rice is too soy saucey for my liking.

Typical but good Cantonese cooking. If this is your style, you won't be disappointed. Very fair prices.

It feels like something from a vintage movie. If only they would turn the heat on ... they keep it super cold inside in the winter, so much so that we had to wear our jackets while we ate and deal with runny noses. How much could heat cost? The food here is very average. You won't hate your meal, but you also probably won't love it. The fried rice is bland and you can certainly tell it isn't made fresh as all the ingredients seem to be old and reheated several times. The lunch specials are pretty complicated to order ... you pick your special, then you pick a side from a list and then you pick one other side. Customization is cool ... but it gets confusing. The staff here is very aloof. They are never there when you need them ... they have all the personality of a block of ice ... and seem mildly annoyed if you ask for anything. (extra hot mustard ... a refill on water ... substitutions in your order, etc.) I understand that there is a pretty significant language barrier with most, but it comes across more as rudeness and apathy than a language understanding issue. The best dish I've ever had here was the shrimp in house sauce. Everything else is on par with most Chinese restaurants post-pandemic ... the quality and portion size is down, while the prices are up. It's not bad snack food ... or lunch food ... but I am not sure if I could eat here as a full meal and leave feeling satisfied. In the area, there are not too many choices for Chinese food. There is Yummi in Dudley, which is as bad at is gets lately. There is Empire Wok in Dudley, which is about as clean as a men's room at a Patriots game. And Kahlua in Southbridge which is a bit hood. Overall, this is the spot I'd choose if I was in the Dudley/Southbridge area and looking to grab Chinese food. Shrinkflation is real here.

Everything is made fresh to order from the thick, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. Ordering is quick and casual. You place your order at the back right counter when you walk in (for dine-in or takeout), and the cashier also acts as your server. If you order a noodle soup, they'll ask if you want green onions and/or cilantro. After that, just grab any open table and relax. We ordered a variety of dishes. Appetizers: Scallion pancakes: (3/5) nice crispy pancakes with scallions. Dumplings with pork and leeks: (3/5) tender dumplings filled with pork and some leeks Spicy stewed beef noodle soup: (4/5) thick hand pulled noodles in a savory broth topped with vegetables like bok choy and mushroom and some tender beef Hot and sour vermicelli soup: (4/5) very tangy savory broth with tender vermicelli noodle and ground pork. Medium spicy level Biang Biang noodles with pork: (4/5) their signature hand-pulled noodles are sautéed in a medium spicy sauce with pork. Overall this place hits the spot for an authentic Chinese meal without the glitz and glamour.
