Ordered some take out from this place while visiting family in the area recently. Everything we ordered was very good. We had the pu pu platter for 2, beef lo mein, chicken chow mein, and combo fried rice. The portions were generous and good value. Will have to try going into the restaurant next time. read more

1st bad review for them for me anyway. Really bad. Ordered for delivery it came quick but everything was dry and tasted old like it was reheated after a few days in the fridge. The Himalayan pork ribs a so called specialty was dry and so dry it was like wood splinters...i'm not kidding. Crab rangoon paper thing soggy and zero filling, I don't know what happened they used to be good! Maybe just a 1 off but omg i don't think I could ever loose anoth 50 bucks like that again, read more

So far this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant to replace Wind Tiki...except it's way better (except the egg rolls, Wind Tiki had the best)!!! We've been a couple of times for takeout and everything was delicious and hot. We got the pupu platter, beef fried rice and beef lo mein and we loved it all. Everything tasted much fresher than we got at Tiki. We haven't tried eat in yet to try their drinks and check out their atmosphere and service, but we will soon. read more

Food was excellent. Sorry of a small parking lot. Got the egg drop soup and general taco chicken which was really good. Price point was good. They serve their dishes in plastic take out containers which is a good concept as you are always having to ask for to-go containers anyway. All in all, was a good place. read more

Visiting my beautiful girlfriends hometown and stopped in Himalaya Wok for a quick bite just 15 mins before closing. While a lot of places would turn you away so close to quitting time Himalaya wok welcomed us with open arms. Not only was the service quick, the food was delicious and very affordable. We split the beef teriyaki skewers and the crab Rangoon's over a (complimentary) drink and enjoyed a nice quiet atmosphere. I could not recommend this place enough if you have the time to stop in!! 5 stars. read more

Combo Appetizer A was horrible. Mushy, no crisp or flavor. Beef lo mein was dry and flavorless. Roast pork egg foo young was a bucket of mush. Himalaya WAS my go to for take out. No longer. Not worth the 20 minute ride from CT read more

For fast American Chinese food you can't beat it. Food is always done quick and hot when we pick it up.

This place use to be my go to Chinese place. Ordered for the first time in about a year. What a disappointment! Half my order was missing, ordered extra mustard I got two tiny things of it. This place has been getting really cheap now. They're not cutting orders in half. Got a small spring roll and legit got ONE roll. Use to get more than one. Never again. Looks like I'll have to travel out of Webster for Chinese read more

Himalaya Wok - two cups of coffee on a table - Chinese Near Me - Webster, Massachusetts

Used to order at work in Webster all the time. Got this late night last night. Pupu for 2 and house lo mein. The lo mein was only noodles and pork and DRY!! So insanely dry I had to take a sip of my beverage after each bite. The chicken wings were still pink and bloody and not well cooked. Spare ribs were mainly fatty/cartilage. Chicken fingers were also soo dry. Not happy to pay almost 50 bucks for this..... read more

I thought you could mess up takeout Chinese food, I was wrong! food was over priced, not good.....food was not fresh, never again.

Stopped in on our way home to RI. Cute clean atmosphere, good food, good service. We are vegan and were happy to see there were things for us to enjoy. read more

Food was delicious, restaurant was immaculate clean. Service was outstanding. We had Orange chicken and pork fried rice, chicken wings, egg rolls. All food was fresh and served hot. Free hot tea!! Of mention Orange chicken was superb, sauce was pungent and crispy. Also, served liquor and beer, exotic Chinese drinks. read more

Delicious, freshly made Typical "Chinese" fare, but the very best in town! I've never gotten a bad meal here and we spend 60-$80.00 on a single takeout order at least twice a month. The staff at the counter are very friendly and accommodating if you have any special requests. There are seven Chinese restaurants in a five mile radius here and Himalaya Wok beats them all, hands down, for consistent high quality food at a reasonable price. I've been getting takeout here for 20 years and even though it changed hands about 15 years ago, the food is still fantastic! read more

If you like pad Thai, do not order their pad Thai. I ordered last night and al I got was a container full with the plain noodles, 3 large pieces of scallion on top and a few pieces of chicken.. no peanuts no sauce just noodles. Most disappointed I've been in a while. They also didn't send any duck sauce fr y sons chicken fingers because "I never asked for any". Wasn't aware I needed to specify. read more

The greatest restaurant in the history of the human civilization. Chicken Fingers are addictive and deliciou!

After the devastating fire of a local venue we had to find a 2~3 times a month chinese restaurant. We tried Himalayan Wok unfortunately, and ordered egg fu Yung, beef teriyaki and schezwan shrimp over rice. The first bite was a mushy bad tasting shrimp I should have spit out but did not. Two-thirds through the meal I had to run to the bathroom to vomit and then diarrhea almost all night. I Don't recommend this establisment. read more

This is just my take on my experience. Nice little business. I ordered the medium sweet n sour chicken along with chicken fried rice. The service was prompt, the serving size was good. The quality of ingredients was good. It just didn't hit a home run for me to consider ordering it again. It was just average. Maybe it was me as I've heard good things about the place and food. Your mileage may serve you better. read more

I used to love this place. However I ordered my usual and was unable to eat it as they put crushed red pepper. I am allergic. Not to mention they messed up my appetizers. read more

Didn't hear the greatest things about this place but it is close to my house and I was craving affordable Chinese food. So maybe I was too hungry or maybe I ate it at the right time but after ordering the pu pu for 2 I have never been happier eating standard Chinese food. Mind you I did pick up and ate in the car so hot and fresh is the name of my game. Although I did order pork fried rice and I'm a bang for my buck kind of girl so unfortunately just rice and pieces of pork underwhelmed me a bit but still not bad for my first time. Give it a try if you are on your way to maybe Boston from Webster and are able to do pick up and eat as you go. You won't regret it. read more

Very good old school Chinese food. Very friendly staff. Excellent Egg Foo Yong. The lunch and dinner combos are a great deal! It's my go to place in Webster for good Chinese food. read more

I generally eat in there I've always been satisfied and have a good meal this is the first time I've done take out and I picked up I asked for pork fried rice because white rice I have problems swallowing I asked for duck sauce and Asked specifically to make sure there was duck sauce in the bag she said yes I got home there was no duck sauce open my fried rice and there's no pork in it. The general Gau chicken didn't look cooked the batter was still Sticky and soft. If I had to duck sauce that I asked for I would've at least eat the fried rice. Next time I will just eat in that way if it's wrong I can complain I'm not usually one who complains definitely this did not make me happy Cathy Now 2nd time I get take out and very disappointed pork fried rice had no flavor crab Rangoon were not full they were all flat Teriyaki beef was really thick and had no flavor read more

Hands down the best Chinese food in town! Delivery is always fast, and the food is piping hot. The boneless spareribs are a particularly delicious appetizer. We're still working our way through the sizable menu and we haven't disliked anything so far. read more

I have been eating here since it was Lam's and find it to be a great Vito for take out. Just another one of those places that doesn't look like much as you pass it by. I've been going here for over ten years and will continue to do so. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the counter. After placing your order. Feel free to have a seat at one of the little tables. But don't be fooled. If you wish to dine in there is a dining area through the door to the right of the counter. I usually choose one of the appetizer specials, boneless spare ribs, teriyaki beef and chicken fingers with pork fried rice. To be honest with you, I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered here. When they change hands a few years ago, it was early February, they put out a coupon which caused a huge rush on Valentine's Day. They were so busy, some of the customers were helping out by answering the phone and working the counter. read more

Great food. Great service. The woman who took my order was so friendly and polite. The food did take a little longer than expected to come out but it was worth the wait! Tasted very fresh, I usually go to the Asia Kitchen in Oxford because it's closer to my house but one night I was in Webster and decided to try this place based on the reviews. I ordered the chicken fingers and beef teriyaki and it was so delicious. Highly recommended. read more

I love eatting here, its the only place around that I will order chinese from, I used to go all the way to Worcester for it, now we love ordering from here. portion sizes are great and reasonably priced. two of their meal specials can easily feed myself, my husband and our two kids. or when we opt for small or large seperates we always have plenty of leftovers. Pros: great food great prices great portions. Cons: no free delivery. fixed con: soggy crab rangoons, whenever I ordered them I loved them, I got them with a meal I hated them, they were so soggy, I mentioned it to the person on duty, and now when I get them with a meal they come in a seperate small baggy, PROBLEM SOLVED. read more

The only place I will order Chinese food from in Webster. Always fresh and very reasonably priced. Often I will have multiple friends over and we all have separate cards. They never give us any grief about having to split the orders up if we're getting delivery. Also, I hate eggs in pork fried rice so I love the fact that they exclude those! They lose one star because I am VERY picky about my general chicken and sometimes it isn't crispy enough. Other than that everything is always great! read more

Fast, convenient and cheap. Crab ragoons are yummy but the pork fried rice is too soy saucey for my liking.

I called to order a delivery I ordered a combination plate for pork fried rice and chicken wings my daughter was eating this wing when she told me that she think something was wrong with it I called the restaurant asked for my money back and what they fed us they talk came to my house told me that it was chicken and gave me $8 back for that Meal read more

I approve. Open late on friday and saturday. You can eat in but its not like a full real restaurant so its ideal if you are rollin solo and dont want the experience of eating at a bar next to some drunk Websterites (like at other chinese places in town). Nothing overly special here. Presentation is a styrofoam box and dining area has a McDonalds vibe. Menu is your usual east coast chinese american fare. I had a combo general gao/tso with rice and two appetizer choices (fingers and beef teriyaki). The general chicken wasnt the traditional water chestnut flour based breading but it was still good. Everything was good and tasted like it was prepared fresh. I got a huge pile of food for $9 so its a great value too. If you want a full fledged dining experience though, this is not your choice. read more

I would love this place if they did not have there little child chasing you in the face it's annoying I'm trying to relax waiting for my food keep your child away from customers it's very awkward read more

This place is great. I always get take out from here. It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town.

This place is a typical Chinese restaurant. You know they have what you want and they are fast at serving it. Good customer service. However their food is bland at best. I usually don't go too crazy and order lo mein with broccoli and beef. Something that is ordered all the time at a Chinese take out. It's okay and prices are pretty fair. Not that bad of a place. read more

Typical but good Cantonese cooking. If this is your style, you won't be disappointed. Very fair prices.

I've gone back twice since my first visit. Food has gotten better each time. Fried rice wasn't as dry and beef teriyaki was tender. Hot and sour soup was yummy. I'd asked to have the general tso's chicken cooked extra crispy and it was much better. The woman who answers the phone is very nice. read more

Their menu came in the mail so we thought we'd give them a try. Have to say the fortune cookie was good. The rest? Not so much. Pork fried rice was a few pieces of pork and greasy rice with no onion, no egg bits...no flavor. A splash of oyster sauce and sesame oil wouldn't hurt guys! Our shrimp egg foo yung had one shrimp of a shrimp in each patty and no plain rice. The Trader Joe's gyoza and scallion pancakes from H-Mart that I fixed at home were far better. My own from-scratch Chinese food is better...and I'm Polish! Next time I'll make it myself. read more
