1st bad review for them for me anyway. Really bad. Ordered for delivery it came quick but everything was dry and tasted old like it was reheated after a few days in the fridge. So far this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant to replace Wind Tiki...except it's way better (except the egg rolls, Wind Tiki had the best)!!! We've been a couple of times for takeout and everything was delicious and hot. We got the pupu platter, beef fried rice and beef lo mein and we loved it all. Everything tasted much fresher than we got at Tiki. We haven't tried eat in yet to try their drinks and check out their atmosphere and service, but we will soon. read more

Food was excellent. Sorry of a small parking lot. Got the egg drop soup and general taco chicken which was really good. Price point was good. They serve their dishes in plastic take out containers which is a good concept as you are always having to ask for to-go containers anyway. All in all, was a good place. read more

Visiting my beautiful girlfriends hometown and stopped in Himalaya Wok for a quick bite just 15 mins before closing. While a lot of places would turn you away so close to quitting time Himalaya wok welcomed us with open arms. Not only was the service quick, the food was delicious and very affordable. We split the beef teriyaki skewers and the crab Rangoon's over a (complimentary) drink and enjoyed a nice quiet atmosphere. Used to order at work in Webster all the time. Got this late night last night. Pupu for 2 and house lo mein. The lo mein was only noodles and pork and DRY!! Delicious, freshly made Typical "Chinese" fare, but the very best in town! I've never gotten a bad meal here and we spend 60-$80.00 on a single takeout order at least twice a month. The staff at the counter are very friendly and accommodating if you have any special requests. There are seven Chinese restaurants in a five mile radius here and Himalaya Wok beats them all, hands down, for consistent high quality food at a reasonable price. After the devastating fire of a local venue we had to find a 2~3 times a month chinese restaurant. We tried Himalayan Wok unfortunately, and ordered egg fu Yung, beef teriyaki and schezwan shrimp over rice. The first bite was a mushy bad tasting shrimp I should have spit out but did not. Two-thirds through the meal I had to run to the bathroom to vomit and then diarrhea almost all night. I Don't recommend this establisment. read more

I generally eat in there I've always been satisfied and have a good meal this is the first time I've done take out and I picked up I asked for pork fried rice because white rice I have problems swallowing I asked for duck sauce and Asked specifically to make sure there was duck sauce in the bag she said yes I got home there was no duck sauce open my fried rice and there's no pork in it. The general Gau chicken didn't look cooked the batter was still Sticky and soft. If I had to duck sauce that I asked for I would've at least eat the fried rice. I have been eating here since it was Lam's and find it to be a great Vito for take out. Just another one of those places that doesn't look like much as you pass it by. I've been going here for over ten years and will continue to do so. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the counter. After placing your order. Feel free to have a seat at one of the little tables. But don't be fooled. If you wish to dine in there is a dining area through the door to the right of the counter. I usually choose one of the appetizer specials, boneless spare ribs, teriyaki beef and chicken fingers with pork fried rice. To be honest with you, I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered here. When they change hands a few years ago, it was early February, they put out a coupon which caused a huge rush on Valentine's Day. I love eatting here, its the only place around that I will order chinese from, I used to go all the way to Worcester for it, now we love ordering from here. portion sizes are great and reasonably priced. two of their meal specials can easily feed myself, my husband and our two kids. or when we opt for small or large seperates we always have plenty of leftovers. You can eat in but its not like a full real restaurant so its ideal if you are rollin solo and dont want the experience of eating at a bar next to some drunk Websterites (like at other chinese places in town). Nothing overly special here. Presentation is a styrofoam box and dining area has a McDonalds vibe. Menu is your usual east coast chinese american fare. I had a combo general gao/tso with rice and two appetizer choices (fingers and beef teriyaki). The general chicken wasnt the traditional water chestnut flour based breading but it was still good. Everything was good and tasted like it was prepared fresh. I got a huge pile of food for $9 so its a great value too. Their menu came in the mail so we thought we'd give them a try. Have to say the fortune cookie was good. The rest? Not so much. Pork fried rice was a few pieces of pork and greasy rice with no onion, no egg bits...no flavor. A splash of oyster sauce and sesame oil wouldn't hurt guys! Our shrimp egg foo yung had one shrimp of a shrimp in each patty and no plain rice. The Trader Joe's gyoza and scallion pancakes from H-Mart that I fixed at home were far better.
