Usually go to the one in Leicester, but they are not opening on Tuesdays. Sooo..made the 22 min journey to this location (Chain? Franchise?Family?) Everything has been great so far. Only complaint is Ribs are dried out and not much flavor, unlike the Leicester location. Crab Rangoons are free at the $40 mark, but could use more browning up. Definitely our favorite Chinese take-out place in town! The food is ready fast and is nice and hot even when we get home. They are always friendly on the phone and in-person when picking up. We love the all day combo options and that they let you sub lo mein for fried rice (at an extra charge). The crab Rangoons are SO delicious! A lot of flavor and they do not skimp on the filling. Some other favorites are the General Tso's, egg rolls, and beef teriyaki! The lo mein is hit or miss, and the fried rice could use a little more flavor. I went here bc they had good reviews. IT WAS NASTY. The veg lo mein had not one single veggie, and it was cold and dried out. The peking dumplings were absolutely disgusting & filled with some stringy, crunchy unknown substance that I spit out. The general gous chicken was hard, chewy and stringy. I chewed it forever & in never fully dissolved, it was just a stringy, hard ball I spit out. It either wasn't real meat or just very old and poor quality. The egg rolls tasted like they were old and packaged, almost with a chemical taste. The duck sauce containers were not even half full. read more

I agree with Brenda that you would have a hard time finding this place as it is in a small strip next to the flip flop bar. The food is excellent and they often throw in an extra crab ran-goon with your order, which is certainly nice. It is also my favorite item there. I love their lomein, chicken fingers and buffalo wings. The food is really good and if you order lunch specials it isn't too expensive. This is my mom's fav place to order out as a child and it holds some nostalgia to me. Showed my gf and she really enjoyed. I hate to say though that I have stopped going there as I realize I gain 1/2 pound after every meal. Put it this way the food tasted a lil too good. However If you don't care about getting a bell yand looking for tasty Chinese. Then this is the place to be. This is my fav Chinese place in the world. Seriously. They are very good! The girl who attended me was very attentive and amicable. The food was services to me in no time and tasted delicious. It didn't taste like some other Chinese restaurants where the food is greasy and smells like they cooked with old very used oil. Too bad they don't deliver. I am a holden resident , we have tried almost all the Chinese in the area. Cheoy Lees II in West Boylston is ok but we prefer Mins Wok on West Boylston street which is amazing but currently closed due to a building fire next to them. I must say , this is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. $51 spent last night. I will never order from here again and will never send anyone. I would rather drive to shrewsbury street for Kenichi , this place is complete trash. Not too mention a have an 8 year old kid my card to run because what looked like the mom was prepping orders. The seafood delight tasted like I was going to get food poisoning and soap. The lo mein had almost no flavor with a side of shit. The general gap was ok and orange chicken ok but complete subpar. I would give zero stars if I could. Also it's not the first time we have ordered here , I think 2nd and the first wasn't great either, we tried again. Tried this tonight. Not worth it. Chicken wings under cooked and without flavor. Lo Mein tasteless. Beef and broccoli dredged in flour and had no flavor. Asked if they had pot stickers, they said yes and we got peking ravioli. The sauce was soy with some kind of hot sauce. No discernable ginger. Almost $50 and not worth a dime of it. My husband and I stop here the other night for something fast..We ordered two beef with broccoli which came to over 20.00 bucks, We get home open up the bag and we were assuming that rice was included in the meal , but was I wrong I called them and asked did they forget the rice , they informed that rice does not come with the beef and broccoli , I was like WHAT? After paying 20 bucks and I still have to go home and cook my own rice .... Fresh ingredients, not greasy, tasty food, free rangoons, which are excellent by the way, when you spend over a certain amount. One bad experience can kill it. A regular takeout customer for 5 plus years and never a problem. Two weeks ago our large order included chicken fingers and beef teriyaki. Way below par and I called. No problem. The woman at the counter who has been there forever told me to stop in and it will be replaced. Today I did. She was not there but a note had been left. I felt like a criminal. All eyes were on me and someone actually followed out, to I guess, take a mental picture. That was the last time. I had more to order but never got around to it as they were focused on, heck, I'm not sure what. Wow. What a way to loose a customer. There are other places and now it's time to try another. We were really busy the other night with company -- no time to cook. What to do? Called our favorite Thai restaurant but they were closed. Cheoy Lee was close and we were in a hurry. So be it. We ordered and picked up the food. It was ready when we drove up and everyone really enjoyed it! We had several plates and there was a great variety. Nevertheless everything was done to perfection. Maybe its a bit of nostalgia because it was the go to takeout spot of my youth, but it's actually really good and I think they have the best crab rangoons around. We ordered take out for chicken with garlic and Kung pao chicken. They both tasted like BBQ sauce and both tasted the same. We also didn't get any rice with our order which made no sense. The crab rangoon tasted under cooked. Totally not impressed and highly do NOT recommend. read more
