Ordered Chinese food New Year's Eve. It was beyond awful. We threw most of it away. I wrote a review and the owner reached out to me and asked me to take it down. She was very upset by the review. She said we could try it again. Never did . Well, I wish I never deleted it...we never went back for another take out order but it was only right to make other folks aware.

Food was too pricey and the chicken dish I got was just breading. Will never return as it happened twice.

Terrible, cabbage smelled bad, too much batter on uncle chows chicken, dumplings pasty undercooked, eggrolls too much grease, never again

Excellent salt and pepper shrimp (rivaled some I've got in Boston's Chinatown). Hidden gem!

Great service and great food! We order take out from here often. It's not heavy like some Chinese food places can be.

Weekday lunch with not much of a crowd. Lunch combinations made it easy. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Tea-colored and thin and somewhat watery, but the heat and tartness still came through. Decent amount of mushrooms and tofu, without much variety. -- Egg Roll: Crisp outside, moist inside. Mostly cabbage, with some gray pebbles of pork. Not much flavor here, so it really needed the duck sauce. -- Orange Beef: A generous portion for a lunch combo, with bumpy semi-crisp surfaces, and somewhat tender meat within. Think of them as miniature chicken fried steaks. The flavors in this dish were impressive, blending spicy, sweet, and tart. Orange, peel, onions, and other little nuggets added complexity. A little gloppy, but someone who likes this dish would like this dish here. -- Fried Rice: Very light of color and no additions other than egg. Moist and fresh, but bland. Zero flavor. White rice would make more sense (and maybe even more flavor). -- Pork Fried Rice (full order): I ordered an extra to go, to see how it compared against the lunch special rice that wasn't that special. Still light and a little lacking in flavor, but an improvement with the pork and other additions. Fairly average. Decent enough meal, reasonable value, but flavor and/or texture was a little lacking on some items. Worth another look though, thanks to the Orange Beef and the atmosphere.

The food is just barely okay, but I'd say adequate for a quick takeout situation. -- Egg Roll: Crisp, cabbagey, with lesser bits of celery. Surprisingly pink inside, but not sweet. Seasoned in a traditional way, but subdued. -- General Gao's Chicken: Big chunks, briefly crispy, sweet with no counterbalance, and a bit of extra sauce to lend the rice a hand. -- Pork Fried Rice: Bits of pork and only minimal flavor, but at least it was fresh. Bland and hot beats bland and tepid. A good amount of food for a decent price. No rival for better sit-down joints, but I'll take this place over the fast food chains, and it'll be a better value.

I ordered a combo of white rice, chicken wings (which are the largest chicken wings I've ever seen, beef teriyaki which were also large, boneless ribs (way over cooked and dried out) and an egg roll for my appetizer (part of the combo). My Coke (in a bottle) was even flat! There was a kid behind the counter (school holiday in honor of Veteran's Day), he was really rushing me to make a decision but I think mostly out of boredom. I read previous reviews about him and didn't experience what others wrote (at least not that I noticed or heard). I won't go back.

Sawa had a decent Yelp rating (and was essentially the only place we could walk to), so we decided to give it a try. It has a large bar, traditional table seating and Hibachi steakhouse style seating, it's a fairly large place. It also projects a traditional Japanese Steakhouse vibe. Since we were dining at an off time, there was only one other patron in view. They have an expansive Asian menu and we ordered: Salmon Dinner - 5pcs of salmon sushi & spicy salmon roll (with salad) Asian Fried Rice with Chicken Scallion Pancake Gyoza -Japanese pan fried pork dumpling 2 Green Tea Total with Tip: $78 How expansive is the menu? If you search for Salmon on their online menu, you get 47 hits! Service was good, then again we were essentially on our own. The Salmon was good, not the best I've ever had, but tasty. The Fried Rice was also tasty, but very salty. The Scallion Pancakes were crispy and nicely cooked, we really liked these. And the Gyoza was very tasty, but should have been crisper. Overall, a very enjoyable "Linner" and a 4-star dining experience. I would return here if in the area.

Low lighting inside but it fit the vibe well. I got the Hibachi Lunch w/Chicken. Presentation was good and the chicken was well cooked. My friends got General Tso's Chicken and Beef Teriyaki which they said was made to perfection (not pictured).
