I would have typically said this place was the best in Southbridge for Chinese. Until I recently ordered. I got most of the order correct. The most expensive item I ordered however well it cost almost 1/4 of the order . Gai Po Lo Mein . Every other time I have ordered this dish it came in 3 separate containers. One holding the chicken fingers ( fried chicken strips, one containing the vegetables in gravy , and the third with pork lo Mein . I this time got a small container holding 4 chicken fingers, a ton thick , globby brown gravy with two cherry tomatoes, 4 pieces of corn, and 4 pieces of broccoli . No lo Mein . I expected an increase of prices but paying 7 dollars more for this item now 24.75 to be missing the Lo Mein part , and to only get half thee amount off the chicken strips , and vegetables.. Just ridiculous and to refuse to refund for bad food , well I definitely can not say the best any longer . First to be paying more fine , but to be getting much smaller portions , and not getting what one ordered and being charged .. Clearly customer retention isn't a thought for this restaurant . Awful experience. I completely understand that NYE is a crazy busy night for a Chinese restaurant. I am willing to be extra patient and allow for extra time. Just be honest, and tell me how long I am going to have to wait. This place had absolutely no clue. I showed up right when my order was supposed to be ready. I walked in the door to find about 30 others waiting for their orders. The orders trickled out of the kitchen about 1 every 5 minutes. Nobody could give any time frame on how long it was going to take, or whether your order was even being prepared yet. When you checked with an employee about the status of your order, they would just tell you "not yet". It was blatantly obvious that the restaurant was completely overwhelmed by the amount of orders that they had, yet they continued to take more orders. After waiting over an hour at the restaurant and still not having the food that I had ordered 2 hours earlier, the employee taking orders was still telling people that their order would be ready in 35 minutes. The restaurant clearly was catering to their DoorDash orders, and pushing off the pickup orders. Never again read more

I loved this place from 2019-2023, but I went in 8/2024 and it's not the same. They used to have the best rangoons but they replaced them with this dry shell covered ones that aren't even close to the original ones and their house special rice is no longer " special" I won't be going back. read more

We have been customers for over ten years. Sadly, the food quality has gone way downhill in the past two years. The food was always hot and fresh now it tastes like it has been reheated. The general Tso's chicken was pretty good. The garlic broccoli was also pretty good. The spicy sesame wontons were not what I expected. It seemed that they were cooked in a sauce that just tasted like peanut butter. There were only a few people sitting inside. We took ours to go but there was a lot of seating available inside. Dynasty is the absolute best Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life. The people that cook there are artists with flavor. I've never had, ethnic or otherwise, food that was seasoned and cooked so perfectly every single time, without fail. If you've ever had a bad experience I challenge you to try them again. I've been going here for 10 years and it will always be one of my all time favorite places to eat. If I ever leave MA I will make it a point to come visit just so I can eat here. First let me say this that Dynasty is serving up some delicious Authentic Chinese cuisine and have been doing so for many years. Fairly decent Chinese spot. It's a bit pricey, but they have a better tasting quality of food here. The egg drop soup is very tasty, not too salty. I enjoyed that a lot, along with the fried rice which was on the same par. The family enjoyed the general tso chicken and white ride, with the wings. The only complaint about the wings is that they were overcooked and rather cold, it might have been from the travel to the hotel. I am not too sure. However, the service on the phone was terrible. The lady answering and taking the orders was pretty rude, and when she didn't understand something she rudely said "WHAT?!". She also seemed to be going in circles when we brought up the three dollar coupon, there were no restrictions on it exactly that she said other than the ones listed. Our order qualified for it, but she said food was expensive now and they can't offer it. We understand the times, but perhaps notifying hotels about this so they can tell future customers is a good idea. Adding on, there were no sauces usually added in the bag. No duck sauce, soy sauce, etc. That wasn't an issue however, it was very minor. Other than that, it was just the lady taking orders that had an attitude that was rather discouraging. The delivery man was really nice and assisting, he delivered everything well with a good attitude. Overall, not a bad spot but the attitude issue should be rectified. Fave go to Chinese restaurant! Love the woman who answers the phone, she's a rockstar. One day I was late picking up and she called and asked if I was okay! The food is consistently good and always piping hot! I also appreciate that the entrees usually come in containers that can be reused. I would say next time I won't tip the driver I'd there is a delivery fee, but I'm never ordering from there again. What a great little find! Full disclosure.... I had no idea where Southbridge was and a quick glance of options left me baffled, (a few goodies were closed on Tuesdays). My wife and I frequent this restaurant at least once a month if not more. The portions and the prices are great. We usually have dinner and leftovers for the next day under $20. I did a 3 when I wanted to do a 1 but I'm all about supporting small business especially in these times. This restaurant is flat out "Da bomb". This is as good as it gets for any Chinese food in this area of Massachusetts and probably some of the best that I've ever had any where else. Worst pupu platter, by far, I've ever had (don't expect a flame) - pork component was little pieces of fatty gristle, obviously from the worst part of the pig (snout?). Sweet & sour chicken was bland, as were the pupu chicken wings (no msg or any seasoning). Other customers told us not to sit by the door because you get an Arctic blast every time someone comes in, so we had a scenic seat next to the unused buffet.
