After moving to California 10 years ago, the food is still just as amazing as I remember. It is so good and so consistent I dream of this place everyone I'm let down by California Chinese food. Even with the crazy prices everywhere else their menu looks unchanged. If they changed prices I sure didn't notice the pennies added. It's so affordable. The General Tso's chicken is perfection. I could eat it everyday of our visit back to town. I'd spend the evening at the bar playing Keno if I could! I miss this place more than any other east coast Chinese restaurant. It is by far the best general Tso chicken that I have had in the country. I miss their amazing scorpion bowls and the best Mai tai's you'll ever have. I hope they reopen their bar again someday. If I could give this place Zero out of 5 I would. They get one star Only because the prices are cheap. I ordered from them they got my order wrong. Called them and they argued with me about what it was I ordered. This isn't even the first time this has happened. The food isn't great either but I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. I read the other posts about the food being greasy, and I have to say I couldn't believe Chinese food would be greasy. Boy, was I wrong. It was horribly greasy. All of it. And extremely sweet. Also, the first time I called was at 3:30pm and asked to place an order for delivery. The man on the phone said delivery isn't until 4pm and hung up on me. This is what I get for being lazy because today, the third time was not the charm. My first choice today has apparently closed up as both numbers were disconnected and my second choice does not deliver. So this was choice number three and turned into a complete disaster. Maybe I should have just canceled my order when I had to keep repeating myself. Then again, that's a pretty common thing when ordering Chinese food. Our food was delivered about twenty mines after placing the order and I'm thinking, 'Damn, that was quick.' My next thought, 'that was expensive.' Just t under twenty bucks for a large white rice, an order of chicken teriyaki and a small chicken with broccoli. By the time we got around to opening the chicken and broccoli, things quickly went south. I opened the container which was not exactly full. To make things worse, the chicken turned out to be shrimp. YUCK! Checking my NY attitude at the door, I called back to explain that our order was incorrect. The gentleman (and I use the term loosely), who now speaks pretty good English, becomes quite belligerent, and tells me I ordered shrimp. Dude, why would I order something that no one here will eat. Again, he tells me that I am wrong. That's fine I told him, I will take my future business to another establishment that understands the concept of customer service. I will always miss panda garden. I'm hoping they open back up. There food was the best in the area. Only other great Chinese is either china town. Or Cathay pasific in Quincy mass. I will seriously pay for pandas food. COVID-19 sucks. Hopefully next year is better read more

I wish I could give it higher because I love the owners, and it is a great atmosphere, but there is nothing special about this food either, although it is the best Chinese food in Southbridge in my opinion. Would rather travel to Sturbridge and pick up food at Kahula, but Panda Garden does deliver. It's worth a shot if you NEED Chinese food in Southbridge. read more

This place is okay for Chinese food one of the best things I think they have is their General Tso's Chicken it is so delicious and made to perfection every time. Their appetizers such as chicken fingers, shrimp rings, and crab rangoons seem just enough cooked to not be raw but could be cooked much better they are not crunchy at all. Food is ready quickly and even with delivery I have never had a super long wait. You can also eat inside the restaurant if you choose and there is a bar and keno as well. read more

This is a better bar than it is a restaurant. The drink were strong and tasty buy It smells of stale cigarette smoke and looks very run down. There also seems to be a family living in a room built off the bar because small children kept coming in and out. Unimpressed with the environment and service we decided to take our food to go. We ordered the house lo mien, which was basically grease soaked noodles and the spare ribs, which tasted like rancid meat. Not surprisingly, the next morning we both were not feeling in great shape. This place is ok to stop in for a quick drink and some Keno- but I'd stay away from the kitchen. read more

Great little place near the southbridge hotel and conference!!! They have great crab rangoons and the scorpion bowl is on point!!!! Cheap price for great drinks and the appetizer...can't say for the rest cause I haven't tried it.. read more

Got pickup. Decent food, not so great customer service. Lady acted like it was a crime to ask for extra duck sauce. Rice was a little undercooked and crunchy but overall not too bad for a quick lunch to fulfill a Chinese food craving. read more

My wife and I have business that takes us to Southbridge once a week. When in the area we usually have a couple of hours to kill. We decided to check this place out. The place doesn't look great and when we walked in it was empty, we stood there for a minute and almost walked out. I'm glad we didn't. The food was great and the prices are very reasonable. We have since gone back several times, it is always the same people working, the service is good but they are no nonsense and not very personable which is fine with me. read more
