Long Island ice tea

I have been here about a half 1000 times since movie disturbed and I have not been disappointed once. The bartend is a very accommodating. The food is great and flavorful. So if you like Thai food I think you should definitely try this place out.

"Crab" Rangoon

This review is for Thai on Wheels outside of Treehouse Brewing. I was so excited to see Thai Place here because I've been craving Drunken Noodles. Then I saw they had crab Rangoon and I shed a happy tear.... Until I got my order. Their sweet and sour sauce is so obviously watered down, it's sad. You only taste the "sauce" if it comes directly in contact with your tongue when you take the bite. The "crab" is almost completely MIA - tiny flecks of pink in some, not all, of the wontons. The drunken noodles are $15 for a small portion. They boast chicken and an egg. There was a small scrambled/fried egg and about 4 small chunks of chicken. I am giving 3 stars because the flavor is absolutely kickin for the noodles. Overall disappointed for the price point. Would have probably waited for the other truck to open if I new the quality.

So so sooooo happy they are back open. We've dined in once since being open and ordered take away twice. Each time the food was plentiful and fresh. Just like it's always been. Love the new mural in the dining room and the small changes since being closed down. All looks great! Always clean dining & restrooms. No tacky tables or floors like many restaurants .

Seafood fried rice

The food here was absolutely terrific! The Thai rolls were nice and crispy and NOT greasy, the seafood fried rice was SO good, as was the seafood combo. The owner was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, sanitation practices was on point! If you happen to be in the area, drop in... you'll love it!

This is my go too for Thai food. The service is always fast and the price is fair. Definitely recommend.

Worst thai food I have ever had, almost inedible. The pad thai tasted like they dumped rice vinegar in it.

The former is very tasty and tender, the latter has been too tough and dry on the last few orders. Steamed is the way to go! I enjoyed the Wonton Noodle Soup with rice noodles, I think you can substitute other noodles. The Wonton's are excellent, light and tasty. I liked the noodles too. A great choice for a cold, New England night. (Tip - this is not the same dish as their regular Wonton Soup.) The Yaowarat Fried Rice is a perennial favorite of ours, we order this dish every time. It's one of my favorite fried rice dishes. Bottom line, a great dinner tonight. Where are the new pictures you ask... Sorry fellow Yelpers, I must have been very hangry!!

The appetizers were just okay, and the curry puffs were dry. The pad thai was surprisingly good definitely on the sweeter side. The staff weren't the friendliest during our visit.

However this visit disappointed. Upon entering my party was directed to the lounge instead of the dining room. Observed several loud vulgar bar patrons and dirty tables not bused. Had to wait for waitress who finally came and took drink orders. Had to ask for food menu before she left with order. Disappointed that she brought me Jasmine Tea and not traditional Oolong Tea. Food came and was better than usual other Chinese restaurants but quality has declined. Roast Pork Soup good, abundant amount of bok choy and two pieces of roast pork but wonton were thin and not thick as past. Duck sauce on table was thinned and not fruity thick as previous. Gai Poo Lo Mein rich in soy sauce as well as fried rice. One restroom lacked toilet paper and other one had non working hand dryer with toilet paper scattered loose on table. Duct tape seen patched on carpet and walls to repair spots. May be some time before returning here as not the same quality as it had been years ago.

The interior is quite large, and while the lobby has a nice fountain, the dining area rug is ratty and the seats are patched with tape. Like American Chinese food, the best years are behind us with this place. The service was super friendly and attentive, at least. I started off with a pu pu platter, for no other reason than it's been a long time. The experience is just a fun as I remember, and actually all the appetizers on the platter were great, with the exception of the crab rangoons which are the, now typical, all cream cheese and no other flavor variety. Also ordered was a rice plate with more of the same appetizers, pork lo mein, chicken mei fun, and scallion pancakes. The mei fun was the best thing we got all day. It was cooked just right, tasted fine, had a little slip to the noodles without being greasy. The lo mein was too heavy on the propane, so the wok hei was thrown off. The scallion pancakes lacked flavor, e even with the ginger sauce, and the texture was too dense. I've driven past here on trips to Old Sturbridge Village in the past, came here just for the restaurant today, and now will have to resume driving by it in the future.
