This was our first time here, as we were in the area and based on the 4-star Yelp rating, we decided to check it out. Our waitress was excellent (throughout our meal), and we quickly received menus and cold water. We ordered: Gyoza Salmon Sushi Salmon Sashimi Chicken Fried Rice Fried Chicken Wings Scallion Pancakes Glass of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Total: $69 before tip Sadly, the only dish we liked was the Gyoza. I've had much better sushi/sashimi at grocery stores, the Chicken Fried Rice was dry, the Chicken Wings were too heavily fried and we didn't like the Scallion Pancakes at all. The outside at night was a bit different, it was the only open place in a strip mall, but once we were inside it was very comfortable. The staff was attentive but not overbearing, the drinks were good & so was the food. We had crab rangoon, I had chicken pad see ew & he had beef pad thai. Listen, I don't like to bash any businesses, and this place had potential, but it has fallen off the rails. I used to love the sushi, but I got a roll that was indescribable mush with a foul fish smell and taste and couldn't bring myself to finish it. (See the pic below) What's almost worse than that is how long their service takes, even for take out. I've been told "30 minutes" for take out 3 times now and waited an hour each time, for fried rice and pad Thai... please. Thai lemongrass is a cut above. Maybe I should say a roll above! The rolls are tight, fresh, and flavorful. I also appreciate the little things that separate them from other places. They do not mince their spicy rolls like a lot of places. It is whole chunks of fish with added spice. We went for dinner 1 night and I got the chicken pho, and fiance got the drunken noodles. Fiance said the noodle were ok. My pho on the other hand was sorta ick. Tasted like it was made from can of chicken broth and not not broth. I do realize this is Tai and not Vietnamese, so maybe pho here is ok for some but this pho was BLAH. the little cup o salad they give you is a nice touch, but the dressing is somewhat gross(not sure what it was, so I have it to my fiance who said it was ok). Love this place, my go to Thai place for this area. Is it somewhat Americanized/non-traditional? Yes. But you're really not going to do better in this area, not even in Worcester. You'd have to hit Boston to find the next better spot. And most importantly, they are unbelievably consistent. Consistently good, consistently fresh, consistently hot and consistently beyond friendly, doesn't matter what day or time. Also they are insanely cheap with huge portions, and prices have not changed noticeably in years. Beautiful space inside, very deceiving from the outside of the old strip mall set off the Main Street. Very vibrant place, loved the decor. Welcomed and seated right away. Food was fresh, took a little bit to come out but it was worth the wait. First time here so we just tried a few different things. They have great curry dishes, the best pla la prik, and their hibachi plates are outstanding, especially the steak and shrimp one. The waitress was very rude and copped an attitude about the ordeal. Two words: Penang curry. DROOL WORTHY! There are very few things in life that are this flavorful, exotic and savory. Absolutely satisfying every time and it takes my taste buds on a vacation! I usually get shrimp Penang. They do add a ton of shrimp and veggies (almost too many vegetables, my only gripe about this meal) and it's to die for. My fiancé had curry for the first time at this place and he loved it! He's not a coconut fan but didn't taste it, he says. We had also ordered crab Rangoon. The reason for the last star taken off is because they put MAYBE a half teaspoon of filling in these large wraps. So you are just eating that until you finally get to the good part. I am currently at Thai Lemongrass. We ordered pork gyoza, Thai chicken wings, Thai rolls, crab Rangoon, chicken drunken noodles. Plus two orders to go; pad Thai & steak hibachi. We took one bite out of the Thai wing. We did not finish that wing. The Thai wings tasted like Buffalo wings so we requested that the order be returned. The management refused to refund the wings that we sent back!! Mind you we spent $107.70 on food. If a customer is not satisfied and did not eat the product (except one bite off a a half of wing) I thought that management would rectify the problem. Apparently not at this establishment read more

Little Thai restaurant with a nice ambiance that sets the mood. It's very relaxing with beautiful pictures and decorations! There is also a variety of music that plays which I think is nice. And when I say variety, I mean it haha- there's rap that seems out of place. But I like it because it has something for a lot of different people. I've only been during weekday lunch hours and have always been greeted by the same young , extremely friendly, male waiter. He is such a pleasure! He really makes sure everyone's experience is great. I think sometimes they could benefit with an additional waiter because I have seen him stressed with rush lunches- but he handles himself with grace. He alone deserves 5 stars. The menu is big!! They have a lunch menu which I stick too personally (due to the price mainly). Although nothing is outrageous to begin with. Today, I got the green curry. It comes with the house salad that has a ginger dressing!!! I am a huge fan of ginger so I absolutely love this salad. It is so refreshing and crispy, exactly what I want with a salad! The green curry arrived quickly and very hot with a side of jasmine rice! The bowl was filled with vegetables and I got tofu with my order (you can also choose a meat or fish). I love how the onions are done. I'm alway nervous that they won't be cooked thoroughly enough which tends to upset my stomach. But these were soft wit a slight crunch. The soup was very flavorful! This is my first green curry so I can't compare it to anything though. Would definitely continue to come here and I recommend it to others in the area. Tucked in a janky strip mall in the heart of Webster, MA is Thai Lemongrass. We arrived around 12:30 and were the only patrons inside. I ordered a coke to start. They only do cans. O-kaaaay. Took a stop in the bathroom which is fine enough but I couldn't seem to get the door to lock. Server was friendly. We ordered yellowtail sushi, which was above room temperature when I ate it. Suspicious? I don't know. The drunken noodles sans egg was delicious. I'm a huge drunken noodle fan. My thom yum soup was on the better side of the soups I've had. No tomato though. Our first experience with Thai food. Probably our last. Very nice inside and clean. We explained to our waitress that we needed help ordering as we never had Thai food before and she offered some suggestions. She asked if we liked 'hot' food and we said we preferred not and we followed her suggestions. The food came out and it was plated nicely. The soup was very good, but it stopped there for us. The appetizer were a little too crunchy/slightly over cooked, and everything was sickenly sweet. I wish she would have asked if we liked sweet food because this was more than we bargained for (was wishing we had the hot food at this point). I'm giving a generous 3 stars because I think it was partly our not liking Thai food that we didn't enjoy it. If I ever have Thai food again and have something to compare it to I'll come back and change it if I need to. read more

Delicious! We were starving after a local race and wanted Asian cuisine for a recovery meal. This place is unassuming and absolutely delicious. We got crab Rangoon (crispy and generously filled), gyoza, Tom ka soup (just enough sweet and not too spicy), General Thai (2 thumbs up from the husband) and the red dragon roll. Did scrape off the roe but that's a personal preference. Service a little slow but that was completely understandable mid day on a Saturday. We didn't care as the food was so good.
