My family and I switched to this restaurant in East Brookfield as it was closer. The food is outstanding and is also great and approachable if someone is trying the cuisine for the first time. We've both dined in and done takeout (I no longer live in the area) and everything has always been fresh and delicious.

Like American Chinese food, the best years are behind us with this place. The service was super friendly and attentive, at least. I started off with a pu pu platter, for no other reason than it's been a long time. The experience is just a fun as I remember, and actually all the appetizers on the platter were great, with the exception of the crab rangoons which are the, now typical, all cream cheese and no other flavor variety. Also ordered was a rice plate with more of the same appetizers, pork lo mein, chicken mei fun, and scallion pancakes. The mei fun was the best thing we got all day. It was cooked just right, tasted fine, had a little slip to the noodles without being greasy. The lo mein was too heavy on the propane, so the wok hei was thrown off. The scallion pancakes lacked flavor, e even with the ginger sauce, and the texture was too dense. I've driven past here on trips to Old Sturbridge Village in the past, came here just for the restaurant today, and now will have to resume driving by it in the future.
