The food is ok. I had the chicken teriyaki and it came with rice and vegtables. They were running a special today it was only $5.95. I used my military STAR card but they do not honor it here. Some restaurants on Fort Bliss are under AAFES, but a few are not and are independently owned. So you do not get the 10% discount for your meal .

This place is always packed and generally is my go to selection out of all the other options in the food court. I love the flavors of the teriyaki chicken. The gal on the register was overly confused today which I don't mind, I wasn't the only customer that had this issue, the following 3 (until I couldn't hear) had the same issue - we all said noodles and she would end the order with "rice or noodle" as if we could add rice too. All of us had the confusion after confirming that we wanted noodles, then asking if we could have rice too. Maybe it was a language barrier but we all just said "yes" to carry on and just move forward. No biggie. I lucked out getting my shopping in by 11 so there were already about 6 people in line, normally there are 10-15. When my order is complete I asked the grill master to add extra sauce and he hooked me up. I got home and either my meds are preventing me from tasting (probable) or it's lacking in flavor like normal. I let it settle and stew in its juices for a bit before giving it a shot. THEN the flavors started coming together. The veggies were NOT spot on today, and I'm going to sound like a monster but that's one of my favorite parts of the meal. Mmmmm broccoli. I ruled the meds not a factor and just an off day for them. Avoid rush hour (lunch time 11-1:30) if you're on a time crunch!

Not writing a full review, but the chicken teriyaki was fresh and delicious! This isn't your typical mall/fast food Asian restaurant! You order at the counter and they will prepare your food at the grill. So you're not getting food that's been sitting under a lamp or on a steam table, you're getting fresh food! Vegetables were also good and they serve you plenty for a decent price!

Very good teriyaki here. Located in the food court of the main exchange. This is usually my choice of meal if i have to go to the PX for anything. Sarku Japan has attracted quite the crowd since its opening in late october/early november. Delicious food, cooked right in front of you, also have tempura but i have never tried theirs, i'll make a point of that next time. i just wish they had a sushi selection.

Toothpicks founds in two separate containers of carry out order from Early Japan on Fort Bliss

My husband picked up steak teriyaki and soba noodles take out for me on the base as we live quite far. When I opened the containers and began to eat I found a deli type toothpick with the plastic frill first inside the food in one container then another inside the noodles. I called the number on the receipt and got a recording which would not let me successfully leave a message then a second number supposedly for the restaurant that I found on Yelp but was a fax line. One is a mistake but two foreign objects in two different orders and containers seems intentional. The toothpick in the noodles was sticking straight up and actually poked a hole in the container lid.

Very good teriyaki chicken with noodles or white rice( havent tried fried rice but will for sure in the future). The prices are great and so are the portions. Your food gets cooked in front of you so you know its fresh. Only downside is the wait time, but that just confirms its good due to all the people buying from there.

    Raw tempura batter, yuck.

El Paso…read morewas one of our last stops on the way and we searched for Guy Fieri's visited restaurant list and found Kaemada. We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

Is it the best ramen I've ever had? No, but it was good and it was pleasant until it wasn't. A man came in to the restaurant and approached my husband and I. I thought he was going to try and sell us something as this has happened to me a few times here in El Paso. I'm not from here, my husband is stationed here and I haven't seen anything like this since I was a young adult living in the inner city of Los Angeles. So while I'm not alarmed by this, I am put off by it. This experience was different though, the man was panhandling. I have never ever been approached for money inside an establishment. It was very awkward as my Spanish is extremely elementary and my husband doesn't speak it. I tried to explain to the man that I didn't have cash on me and was desperately hoping the staff would kindly help the man. He lingered for a long time, almost ruining our lunch. The man waiting on us saw and did nothing. Listen, I'm not heartless but I can't help every person panhandling. The staff should take care of this situation and not pass on the responsibility to their customers. I'm sorry but this looks very poorly on the City of El Paso which I hate to say, I think it's a wonderful beautiful city. If I were not Latina or hadn't experienced similar situations like this in my youth I'd have been clutching my pearls and would have left. I know this will come off as heartless, it broke my heart. I don't know this man or his situation and I couldn't properly communicate with him, put on the spot at that. Please, staff at establishments, handle these situations in kind, dignified ways to both your customers and people fallen on hard times- it's your responsibility, not the customer's.
