    Buns

Food, amazing. Service, outstanding (thank you McKenzie!) Ambiance, so quaint. Hole in the wall type vibes, delicious ramen and a very personable and helpful server. I ordered the thicc boi ramen ($16), my girlfriend got the miso thicc($12), and we each got an order of buns for an appetizer. Pork ($8) for me, tofu ($7.50) for her. By the time I left I had the itis, I was so full. Portion sizes were generous and I can't say enough about how flavorful it was. They do this thing where they char the pork belly slices a little bit and the char winds up in the broth and the flavor is just magnificent. HIGHLY recommend, would definitely go back. Whole meal was $52 plus tip.

We love this place and the food is delicious but we got burnt goyzas. It was very sad to open the box and they were burnt.

Came across Kaedama on IG and just HAD to try it cause of the name. I read reviews prior to coming so I knew it was a smaller joint, and the reviews definitely are correct. The restaurant is a cute, small little spot close to downtown El Paso. Parking is free if you can find a spot along the street in front of the restaurant. If not then there is street parking around the corner but you will have to pay, which was the case for us. Kaedama is a snug little restaurant, inside they have a decent amount of table. Unfortunately we came right when they opened so they were packed for lunch. Only option for seating was in their outdoor patio. Not too bad since the weather was a bit cooler than normal for El Paso. Our waiter was quick to get our drink and food order. He also came around a couple times to check on us so no complaints there. I ordered the pork buns for appetizer and the hot babe for ramen. My husband tried the thicc boi ramen, which I'm assuming is one of their popular items since I heard at least 2 other tables ordering it as well. The pork buns were good! They season the pork very well, the sauce is very soy sauce heavy and you can taste the sodium right off the bat. As for the ramen, I'd definitely try their tonkotsu next time. I should have read the menu better, then I would have realize the broth is a soy sauce broth. I usually prefer a more creamy broth. But that's on me for not reading better. Overall I'd say the hot babe is good though. I got level two spice and it was perfect! Not too spicy but not too mild either. I'd give this place a solid 4 stars. It is a bit cramped both inside and out. The pork buns and ramen definitely had a strong soy sauce punch to both. I love that the meat in both the buns and ramen were seasoned heavily. Gave a lot of flavor. Would definitely recommend Kaedama if you're looking for a ramen spot in El Paso!

I love this place, such great ramen at a great price. I came here right when they opening & there was still a line. Make sure to come early if you don't want a wait. Service was very fast & friendly. Indoor & outdoor seating are nice & cute. I got the tonkatsu ramen which was delicious with some chili oil. Love coming here

I really tried to criticize something about this ramen, but I couldn't. I ordered the Thicc Boi (12hr soy sauce pork broth, scallions, Double chashu (braised pork belly), 3 pork gyozas, may (blackened garlic oil), whole soft-boiled egg). Everything was excellent. The broth was light and tasty (and I added chili oil for spice). I loved how there was a pound of scallions in the bowl. The braised pork belly was so fatty and delicious. Seriously, this was the best ramen I have ever had. My only complaint is how I wish I had more.

Visiting El Paso and wanted to try this place out. Boy oh boy they did not disappoint! This is by far one of the best Ramen spots I've ever had. They had double portions of the meat, green onions, and even came with three additional Gyoza. The broth was very flavorful and came out nice and hot. I asked for garlic chili oil on the side which kicked the flavor up a notch. The inside is very small, but they do offer outside seating that is covered and shaded. All of the servers are extremely friendly, and the food came out fast. I might move to El Paso just to go to this place more often.

We found a fly on our food! we order a chicken noodle soup through Doordash, for my pregnant wife that was feeling unwell lately and she was expecting a delicious meal but instead she found the fly and immediately threw up, you should've been more careful with the food!

Got the hot babe spice level 1. Broth was flavorful. Black garlic oil upped the umami. It came with a charred piece of chashu pork that had a faint taste of sweet bbq sauce. It was fresh. The noodles were bouncy and chewy. The shoyu egg was nicely boiled, creamy with some shredded pork jerky on top. The wood ear fungus added a nice crunchy contrast. Overall a very satisfying bowl of ramen. And if you dine-in, they give you an extra bowl of noodles on the side! You won't walk away hungry.

It's been 2 years since my original review, we decided to go today and was very excited to have some Ramen, needless to say we found a long black hair in our Ramen and was absolutely disgusted! My son asked for them to remove the ramen from our ticket but by then we had both lost our appetite...the waitress did say she was sorry, unfortunate all the wait staff is very young and most of the female staff had long hair, they should be either wearing hair nets or putting their hair up..... The entire ticket should have been comped because we didn't even touch it after the hair incident! Omg!!!! So totally bummed - As we left the place they were have a nice day, like if nothing had ever happened....ugh...‍‍‍‍

Overall: 4.8/5 (dine in) We came on a Monday night so we were seated immediately. I do recommend they get a light up sign for the restaurant name since we almost missed it when we turned onto the street. There's plenty of metered parking in front and around the area. The menu is a QR code which they have ready on your table. They are really attentive and always refilled my water when it was near empty then even asked if we were ready for the check once we were done eating. Both ramen we had were really satisfying, full of umami, & balanced. They gave a generous amount of toppings as well. After eating the ramen, I still needed to get something sweet to clean my palette since drinking 3 cups of water wasn't enough so the sodium level must be off the charts :/ Hot Babe ($12): I got spice level 2 which is what the waiter recommended if you can eat spicy food and boy was it spicy. The broth was flavorful and intense thanks to the spiciness. It was pretty heavy so I couldn't drink all of the broth, and I did get bloated afterwards. The noodles had a great texture, and the meat was delicious. The soft boiled egg is also really good since they marinated it. Would recommend to my spicy lovers out there. Thicc Boi ($16): This ramen is a bit more expensive since it comes with an extra piece of chashu, an extra half soft boiled egg, and 3 pieces of gyoza but it was worth it! The gyoza was crispy and flavorful so eat those first. Their chashu is made differently and so freaking good! It's less fatty with more meat but it's not dry at all. I usually don't like my husband's ramen when I try it after my spicy one but this one was pretty good. It had enough umami as well and didn't clash with my taste buds.

I was very excited for this spot based on reviews and the wait line. But was very disappointed at the food itself . Appetizers were the best thing on the menu by far !!! I ordered the miso babe Spicy but couldn't finish even half . Food was drenched in salt and I couldn't finish it . Atmosphere was nice but overall a place to go for experience not food for me .

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert.
