This place is really really clean nice I was one of the first people in there my food came within 10 minutes everything was amazing and wonderful
Local ramen place was pretty good. To be fair to EP, this is the first ramen place we tried since the move. It very close to our house and convenient. We had to wait to sit down, but not for too long. We were seated and quickly ordered our drinks. They have a kids menu. My daughter was all about her Japanese soda. I was pleased to see they had Shiner on tap. They have something on their menu, like a ramen and app for $20. The various usual ramen broths are available, with your choice of protein (chicken, pork, tofu). They also have a variety of apps, such as edamame, spicy chicken bun, pork belly bun. I tried the Spicy Shoyu ramen. It was a bit watery for my taste, and maybe light on the toppers. The size of the bowl was generous. Liz's The spicy chicken sandwich was very good though. Great service from Alexa G. She was there anytime we needed anything. Her and the rest of the team made sure we got our food quickly. The place was full from the moment we arrived in the early evening until we left and there were folks waiting outside. They might do their customers a solid by placing benches (and umbrellas) out there. Inside the restaurant they had booths and bench seating combined with table and chairs. Almost like a diner feel to it. I could easily be convinced to try this place again.
I have ordered takeout before, but this was my first time at Silverlake. The atmosphere is pretty good. It is loud since the music is playing, so it's not the perfect place for a lot of discussion. I ordered the spicy ramen with chicken, and I forgot the name. But the ramen was really good. For my drink, I ordered matcha tea. If you want something bland, then it's no issue ordering this. But it will be my last time. I prefer a little sweetner in my tea.
This ramen is great. It has a great veggie to meat ratio and lots of great broth. I got the shoyu on fire and well it's actually on fire but in a good way. They're $20 combo is awesome because all their apps are delicious. The waitress was quick and to the point. This location is more of sit down and chat type of restaurant due to the fact there was no TVs on the wall and the music wasn't so loud. Overall awesome experience.
Great service. Good food, fun atmosphere. Ordered the Shoyu on Fire combo with a Pork Bun, and got the grilled gyoza appetizer. All of it was very delicious, The pickled onions in the pork bun really set it off, Gyoza was very flavorful, you could actually taste the ingredients inside the gyoza where at some other places all you taste is a generic mush with thoughts of pork flavoring, not the case here. Shoyu on Fire ramen (chicken) was delicious, very filling - got the medium spice level and it still had quite the kick to it, heat had my nose running but the flavor in the broth was so good I couldn't stop slurping it down. Very good ramen spot. Hope to visit again soon.
Silverlake Ramen is located in a plaza next to Five Guys Burgers and Menchies Frozen Yogurt off I-10 West on the west side of El Paso. Silverlake is affordable and delicious. I visited SilverRamen after church, and when I entered the restaurant, I thought it was a fast food place, but no, it was a sit-in restaurant, and they serve hot sake. The servings are generous and are served on beautiful plates. I had the truffle ramen with chicken. I didn't love the chicken, but the ramen was gold. Their parking lot is ample, and they accept cash and credit cards. I enjoyed their cute ice cream cookie dessert. It's an excellent place to visit if you are craving carbs.
I had never tried Ramen other than your typical Maruchan store bought brand. I have been to Silver Lake a few times since I first tried it and every time was a hit. I love their lunch combo special for $20. You get an appetizer a pre selected Ramen bowls. I have tried the fried gyoza and Blaze Ramen twice and I am hooked. The gyozas are the best I have ever had. Always fresh and the filling is so flavorful and fried to perfection. The broth is creamy and the soup is hearty and satisfying. It's spacious on the inside and the decor is fun and catchy. Service has been great as well.
This is my most fave ramen place so far. I like the classic with pork and it's amazing! I tried the Eastlake location first but thank goodness this one is in West Town Market, closer to Las Cruces! Best Ramen ever!
Clean, bright and airy, with a noisy, festive atmosphere. The ramen dishes we ordered were just as exciting as the festive atmosphere. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with pork. What a delightful bowl of addictively seasoned chicken broth, springy, chewy noodles with fresh toppings of spinach, scallions, bamboo shoots, nori, and perfect soft boiled egg. My flavorful pork was tender, juicy, and had just enough fat to make each bite an explosion of meaty goodness. My husband also ordered the Shoyu, but with tofu which he said was perfect! Definitely check this place out when you're craving perfect ramen!
Ambiance is really nice inside. Ramen is great, quick service as well. Portions are just right and they don't overcook the pork like some do. Broth is by far the best in town!
Gf suggested this spot so it was new to us and man was it a top tier pick. Started off with some strawberry Soju. For a 13% for the volume, it went down very smooth and was pleasantly sweet. Also had Creamy Broccolini, roasted broccoli with a creamy garlic aioli, savory and crispy. I think I could have just ate that alone and been happy. If I go vegan thats all I'm ever eating. I had the Japanese Karrage Chicken; triple fried so its extra crispy yet juicy chicken pieces. Steamed white rice, green onions and pickled ginger to garnish. Eel, soy sauce and a spicy creamy sauce that I don't recall. This dish hit every zone in your pallet with umami. Ever take a bite of something that is so good, things go quiet? Thats what the first bite did. It's a healthy helping and I wanted another bowl. Highly recommend. My gf had their Garlic Truffle Ramen. It looked and smelled amazing. Thick noodles with a soft boiled egg, fried pork belly and a side of chili paste that was pretty strong by its self. (PSA don't try the paste by its self, learn from my mistake). All in all great food experience. Service was top notch, food was amazing and price was fair for todays prices. Will 100% go back and I highly recommend you try it if you haven't.
Came on a Saturday night, It was so delicious with fast and good service! Definitely bring your appetite!

The food is usually good, but the pick up times vary. Our order confirmation said it would be ready at a certain time and it wasn't ready when we went to pick it up. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the order to be ready. It's normally not too loud in there. read more

Overall: Good service. Big space. Decent ramen. Environment/Ambience: It was not hard to find this place. A lot of parking. Inside the restaurant is a lot of seating. They had informational TVs running showcasing ramen and how it's made. Service: Was great! I was sat down immediately. Although, I will say the server who sat me down was surprised I went in by myself lol. She was attentive but not too attentive, which was great for someone dining alone - although I wonder if it was because she may have felt awkward - oh well lol. I used the check-in free drink and I was given my drink asap :) Food: It was pretty good. I wish the tofu was marinated and the noodles didn't have the texture of freshly pulled and made noodles, but honestly can't remember if they make the noodles in house. I wish the broth was spicer but overall love the fact I got 1.5 eggs. read more

Great new ramen spot in El Paso!!! My boyfriend & I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and had a really good first experience. As an appetizer, we shared the crispy chicken karaage, described as "Japanese-style fried chicken and spicy aioli." The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the aioli complimented it perfectly. We both ordered the Garlic Truffle ramen, consisting of "a blend of creamy pork and vegetable broth, garlic, truffle oil, kale, mushrooms, black pepper, seaweed, & seasoned egg served with thick noodles," and added pork as our protein. It was so good - the broth was rich and flavorful, and I really appreciated how unique the flavor was. With the broth being so heavy I was unable to finish mine, but it made great leftovers. Our waitress was really nice, and the restaurant itself was very well-decorated! If you haven't tried Silverlake Ramen yet I highly recommend it. read more

I love the apps here like the creamy broccolini! The ramen is good but has a lot of like flavoring. I would come back for apps, drinks, and dessert! The ramen not so much. Service was awesome and ambiance was like every good ramen shop! read more
This place is doing excellent carry out for those who are avoiding dine in right now! I'll say for a ramen place, it's pretty decent. Everything was fresh, hot, and only took about twenty minutes to come out. Definitely order the Gyozas and edamame for an appetizer! They have a few different types of ramen, not a huge selection, and a few non ramen options (see the rice bowl! My kids loved it, it's pretty big too so the two of them split it). It's a bit expensive, though, for what you get. Also the staff seems super overwhelmed and everyone is sitting on top of each other, but outside of these issues - we really like this place! Definitely check it out! read more

First time trying Silver lake ramen! It was a great experience, great customer service, the waitress fulfilled all my needs! The food was amazing especially the combo for 20$ which includes the Ramen bowl and appetizer ! Great price for great food! read more
Came in on a Friday night expecting a bit of a wait, which meant I got to browse all the delicious drinks and desserts available. Once we got a table, service was a bit slow to get around to us, but the place was jammed with people. They were accommodating with a high chair, thank goodness. The food came quickly once ordered. I ordered The Blaze--the broth was super creamy and the pork was divine! I wish they had better options for kids who want more than just broth and noodles. Also, the place is very warm on an already too hot summer, so I hope they work on the a/c. Otherwise, we were happy with our meal and will be back to try more! read more

STAY AWAY !!! My experience at Silver Lake Ramen was beyond disappointing and shocking. I was visiting from out of town with a potential business partner and decided on a casual ramen place to meet. The problems began right when I arrived; I spotted a small mouse running behind the beer refrigerator but was too embarrassed to suggest leaving to my colleague. We decided to stay and were seated, but my visit to the restroom revealed cockroach activity around the stall and sink which left me thoroughly disgusted. While our waiter was pleasant, the owner's behavior was a disgrace to his staff. They were out of half the beer options, which showed a lack of proper planning. The edamame was a silver lining, as it was good but it was down hill after that. the ramen was a mixed bag. One bowl was passable with what tasted to be frozen broth and most definitely frozen noodles but the garlic-infused one was revolting the pork belly tasted foul, the broth as if it was two weeks old and pulled out of a public toilet and outright sicking. When we brought this to our waiter's attention, she was kind and took it up with the owner, Andrew. (Keep in mind we took one bite before speaking to our waiter when the owner came out Instead of attempting to resolving the issue, he embarrassed and insulted me saying I must not know what truffles are , I consume fresh white truffles regularly at the top steakhouses and fine establishments nationwide not truffle oil imitation what he later admitted to using however unfortunately it did not stop there he not only did not offer a replacement or any kind of solution he raised his voice and refused to make amends, even going as far as getting confrontational with my colleague and making threats and wanting to fight him when he was questioned on how his approach was a appropriate way of treating guests. I was shocked and embarrassed by this unprofessional encounter. The owner's erratic behavior suggested he might have been drinking heavily he was shaking the entire time and mumbling his words while he was yelling at us as if he was drinking since 8am, and he even threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the bill in full which embarrassed me to the tenth degree, the patrons next to me that had just sat down got up and left immediately. I was never looking to not pay the bill I just wanted my meal to be prepared correctly as if that was too much to ask for. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card twice for different amounts. I immediately disputed the charges with AMEX. Fortunately I left the waiter a cash tip so I could make sure she was taken care of, when I briefly spoke to another waiter there how I couldn't believe what just happened when I was leaving he turned around apologized to me and told me and I quote "what do you expect this place is ran by a raging alcoholic but I'm stuck here because I have bills to pay" This "restaurant" is one to steer clear of at all costs. My thoughts are with the team members that have to take this abuse from management . I'm Hoping they can find a better place of employment soon and I'm certain El Paso health department will be sending an inspector soon. I would rather have top ramen noodles like my college days before I step foot in this place again and I suggest nobody else does either. read more

The ramen menu is fantastic! Very creamy broth Also has good rice bowl options Highly recommended! I always try to go there for lunch when I am on the west side of El Paso read more
The portion for this one was quite enough and even had some left to share. The vegeterian options they have are very limited but were good in taste. The boba tea they offer comes in a can which was something new and unexpected when ordered. The employees were nice and patient. It was a busy day and we got seated right away which was nice. The ambiance is relaxing and you can get to see how they work on your food. The parking is good and I can't end this without mentioning I regret not taking a go on their desserts which looked so good. Great place to have lunch. Provecho! read more

There's definitely some good tasting ramen here! Yum! I wanted to check out this spot since they first opened a month or so ago. I'm glad I finally got to go! Silverlake is originally from the Los Angeles area. It's awesome that they chose to open a spot in El Paso. I placed a takeout order on Yelp. They also deliver but it costs $5.49. You get a free soda when you check in on Yelp. I live for spicy food so I tried their Shoyu on Fire ramen. There are three levels of spiciness for this entree. I chose medium and it was perfect. The heat was just right for me. The ramen included chicken, corn, lime, half of an egg and jalapeno. You can add more of the other items or pork instead for an additional fee (around $1.50 and up per item). It was plenty for me and I hadn't added anything extra. I asked for no onions but unfortunately they were there! I took them out. The entree was very filling. I had it for lunch and didn't eat dinner. I had a little snack but I was full most of the day. I also ordered a spicy chicken bun with no onions. It had onions! I was able to take them out. The chicken was definitely spicy. The bun was alright but definitely not as good as the ramen. It was also pretty tiny for $4. I let my bf take a bite and he liked it. He said it had a spicy kick to it. He got veggie ramen. He said it was alright but wasn't that impressed like how I was impressed with mine. I also got a Ramune soda in peach flavor. It was good! It took me down memory lane. I used to drink them when I was a kid from time to time. Just try one if you get a chance! It's fun to open them! You open it with a marble. The marble then gets stuck in the bottle. Overall, a great experience. I paid about $37. I'll be going back because I was impressed! read more
