Unami ramen #2 is a new oasis for ramen lovers! I visited the restaurant as I am a big fan of the first location on N. Mesa and Confetti Road. The second location for Umami Ramen House was established in 2023, by Li's brother and his team. They serve the same fresh authentic Japanese Ramen in a modern and casual dining environment. Umami Ramen broth is made from scratch with chicken, which cooks over high heat for more than 10 hours daily. This process unlock delicious flavors held in the chicken bones into the broth. This process of broth making gives the soup base a rich and creamy taste. Service is dedicated and efficient as Grace is very attentive and helpful.

Miso ramen (sorry had started eating it before picture, so good) and orange chicken and rice.

Umami Ramen House #2 offers an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. The ambiance sets the table for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a cozy gathering with friends and family. Menu: Offering from Japanese and Chinese cuisine, traditional ramen, and other Asian delicacies you're familiar with. With such a wide variety of dishes to choose from, guaranteed to find something for everyone. Moved here from Los Angeles and I was looking for a new ramen place in El Paso and I have found it. I ordered the Miso Ramen, undoubtedly delicious and has such a hearty broth. It's all prepared with care and attention to detail as seen by the presentation of the bowl when it's brought to your table. Rich broth, noodles cooked perfectly, and fresh ingredients. Definitely satisfying your cravings and leave you craving for more. Orange chicken is made to order and is fried in a Japanese traditional way. Definitely will be coming back and becoming a regular there.

Nice little joint. Food tastes authentic. Service was pretty fast. Everything tasted made to order. I had the Kung pao shrimp and that was spicy. I substituted rice for noodles for an upcharge. The noodles were flavorless. My kid had the chicken black garlic ramen with tofu which he really enjoyed. We ordered the cream cheese wantons as well as the shrimp tempura and both were yummy. We drank the coconut bobba and that was my favorite.

Very low quality food! The Fried Rice was hard! Not well cooked the only part of the lunch I liked... was the egg dropped soup

El Paso…read morewas one of our last stops on the way and we searched for Guy Fieri's visited restaurant list and found Kaemada. We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. We regret that we will probably never get to eat here again.

Food was prepped quickly and I can't see any differences of spicy noodle between here and Korea. The egg inside of spicy noodle wasn't just regular boiled egg, it was soy sauce marinated egg with beef the same as well. I can see that owner has a high pride and explaining very well on each food on the wall. Happy to find this place and hopefully they will be prosperous here for a while!! Thanks for serving me! 잘먹고 갑니다!

The rolls here are much bigger in size than most places and it felt like it was harder to eat without it just falling apart. It was my coworkers first time trying sushi and sadly it didn't really impress him much. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball. I can't say I would go back here but give it a try and see if it meets your expectations. They seem to short staffed and that could be what went wrong that day but not sure.

When we arrived, we did not know what to expect (we even looked into the place in order to decide if we were staying or living). WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! The food (all of it) was SPECTACULAR. VERY fresh and tasty. The prices? I still cannot believe we ate so much delicious food for that amount of money. My wife wanted a Salmon Steak. They did not have the right sauce and therefore the dish was not in the menu. I asked if they could do a grilled salmon instead without the sauce. They did. My wife thinks it is probably the best salmon she had since we moved to El Paso. We are definitely going back often.
