We came here for our anniversary (totally forgot until the morning of ) and ended up discovering it was also Don Ramen Bar's grand opening--perfect timing! From the outside it looks small, but inside it's super spacious with colorful wall art (same artist as Yamaguchi Ramen). There's a mix of booths, tables, and bar seating--we chose a booth, which was great for the kids. Food was excellent: * Bao buns - smoky pork belly, soft and flavorful (I just wished for a touch more umami). * Takoyaki - perfect size and stuffed with generous pieces of octopus. * Birria ramen - spicy, rich, and absolutely addictive. My favorite dish of the night. * Sushi rolls - portions were huge, almost too big to eat in one bite, but tasty. The Don Roll was fried (my husband loved it), and the Surf & Turf had great flavor. Drinks were fun too--I had a fizzy honeydew milk tea, and my husband got a massive 32oz beer in a mason jar. The kids enjoyed their ramen with toppings on the side, and the "spice bombs" let you customize the heat level. The service was great--attentive and friendly. The owners even came by to chat, and they surprised us with shots for our anniversary since it was their big night too. Portions were generous, and we left with lots of leftovers. We also loved the bonus of live karaoke--someone sang K-pop songs and our kids loved it. For about $100 we had two appetizers, five entrees, drinks, and a great time. Totally worth it. Overall, this place has awesome food, a fun atmosphere, and late-night hours (open till 11 pm). I'd absolutely come back just for the birria ramen--it's that good. Kimchi Raman with Beef and Shrimp!

Service was very good at the Don Ramen Bar. Food came out quickly and was great. Food was also presented very well. Only detractor was the music was running at 95-97dB which really impedes conversation. Turn it down a bit to below 85-90!

Went to the Don tonight for the first time. I'm not from the area and I have to say this is the best ramen I've ever had. I had the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious!! The chasu was so flavorful and tender. Our server Joshua was very attentive and the owner came around to explain all of the food, I loved that! You can tell the pride the owner and employees have for this restaurant. I had the blueberry chibi as my drink and I loved it! We finished off dessert with the strawberry taiyaki. Very fresh and a perfect way to end the meal. The music was great!! They even offer a military discount! We will be back thank you!!

We are in town just for the night and my daughter was craving ramen. She looked up this place and we are so happy she did! Where to start because every bit was a 10/10. Greeted by the friendliest person ever who walked me through the different ramen options. We chatted over some mutual things in common both having family in California and Texas. The music.... He was knocking the jams out of the park. Then there was the AMAZING ramen! My daughter could t pick which one she wanted so I got the other one and she def knew her stuff because it was so good! We had been traveling all day so we took it home and ate in the room and didn't leave a drop! So good 10/10 recommend!

We are Southern Californians and had been on a cross-country roadtrip for almost 3 weeks. El Paso…read morewas one of our last stops on the way and we searched for Guy Fieri's visited restaurant list and found Kaemada. We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. We regret that we will probably never get to eat here again.

Food was prepped quickly and I can't see any differences of spicy noodle between here and Korea. The egg inside of spicy noodle wasn't just regular boiled egg, it was soy sauce marinated egg with beef the same as well. I can see that owner has a high pride and explaining very well on each food on the wall. Happy to find this place and hopefully they will be prosperous here for a while!! Thanks for serving me! 잘먹고 갑니다!

The rolls here are much bigger in size than most places and it felt like it was harder to eat without it just falling apart. It was my coworkers first time trying sushi and sadly it didn't really impress him much. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball. I can't say I would go back here but give it a try and see if it meets your expectations. They seem to short staffed and that could be what went wrong that day but not sure.

When we arrived, we did not know what to expect (we even looked into the place in order to decide if we were staying or living). WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! The food (all of it) was SPECTACULAR. VERY fresh and tasty. The prices? I still cannot believe we ate so much delicious food for that amount of money. My wife wanted a Salmon Steak. They did not have the right sauce and therefore the dish was not in the menu. I asked if they could do a grilled salmon instead without the sauce. They did. My wife thinks it is probably the best salmon she had since we moved to El Paso. We are definitely going back often.
