Clean Air conditioned Friendly and quick service Wait time was less than 20 minutes for a sushi roll in comparison to KangNam style restaurant (which I recommend not to go.. wait time is horrendous especially if you're hungry... over 50 minutes to a hour to wait for 1 SUSHI ROLL! SUSHI TIME IS WHERE IT'S AT. And the food is good.

Definitely wasn't expecting the Sushi to be as amazing as it was! They have a variety of different options to chose from & you can customize them! The beef teriyaki was also pretty amazing as was the delicious miso soup! Lily our server was very attentive & helpful, thanks for the wonderful service!

Rolls you can order I'm addition to the rolls at the buffet.

Prior to going to Sushi Time, Kee's Teriyaki has always been my go to for sushi in El Paso (and I still love Kee's, but it is definitely out of the way for me). Sushi Time is a buffet, serving the rolls you would expect and ones you've never tried. One of my biggest pet peeves is having sushi prepared by someone who has only been trained in house to make it, but doesn't frequently eat sushi. Usually when that happens, the rolls are too large, have too much rice or not enough, and the ingredients aren't at the right temperature. I'm so happy to report that Sushi Time's Chef knows exactly what he's doing. The rolls are bite sized and portioned correctly. I think I tried just about every roll that was put out and each and every single one was delicious. The sushi buffet is a bit small, but I actually appreciate that because then I know each roll is fresh (you'll see them being prepared as each roll disappears). You can also order off their sushi menu, which is included in the purchase of the buffet (but like any other sushi buffet, you must finish the rolls before ordering more...this avoids a person ordering five rolls, but only eating four pieces). I loved that the sushi rolls ranged from typical to fried or even topped in Panko. They also offered a couple of different sauces which I loved (you have to try the Sweet and Spicy if you're a fan of Siracha). There are a few other items available like Gyoza (Pot-stickers/Fried Wontons). Everything I tried tasted fresh and hand-made which I think is very different for a buffet (even a small one) because most buffets cut corners any way they can. They also had a small dessert section that I wasn't impressed by. However, I didn't go to a sushi buffet for dessert which is why I didn't let that affect ST's score. From the pictures you can see that the ST has a clean, cut look to it with a touch of class. The walls are lined with red seating (basically open booths) and the rest of the tables have black, modern seating. The lighting is composed of crystal chandeliers which somehow gave off the perfect amount of lighting. It's a pretty open floor plan. Service is what I'd expect, friendly and fast. So no complaints in that department. I will definitely be choosing Sushi Time over all the other sushi places in the Stonehaven area.

The sushi buffet bar looks small but there is a wide range of sushi available.

The sushi is great. You can either order rolls individually or you can purchase the buffet (which allows you to order rolls with no extra charge as well). For two people we paid around $38 including tax for 2 buffets and two drinks. You do the math ($19+- per person including tax). That seems steep but it's not when you consider how much sushi you can eat and the fact that you can order any roll off of the menu at no extra cost. The sushi bar may look small but they have a large variety of sushi and fried goodies like gyoza and fried sweet potatoes as well. And this may not matter to some, but it matters to me... being half Korean myself I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this business is Korean owned. They play k-pop and other Korean music inside of the restaurant which adds a pretty cool vibe. The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star review is because they don't have a great selection of desserts. Now I know what you're thinking... "but you went there for sushi... who cares about dessert?" My problem is that if I'm paying for a buffet I want the whole eating experience. They had chips ahoy cookies and little cream puffs out on display to put things in to perspective. They don't have to make their own desserts but if they're going to buy them then they might as well buy something good. Last thing I will say is that this place is much better than Tokyo grill house. It's cheaper in price, fresher in taste and an overall better experience.

I can't in good conscience say these are 3 rolls. What a rip-off!

Went to this place due to good reviews well it's very disappointing that helpers would give this place 4 stars. $9.99 lunch special for 3 rolls-- cool! Well I get my plate and it's hardly a rolls for the entire 3 rolls together. I mean seriously?!! Talk about false advertisement. I mean the rolls are okay not amazing but I felt like the portion sizes are for 5 year olds. Hubby ordered 2 rolls and again, the roll is almost only as small as a quarter in diameter and sliced so thinly for $13.00 each! Our lunch set us back $45 and I felt like I wanted to run to Costco and order the turkey sandwich as I was still starving. Deff not coming back.

If you're looking for a place to have sushi for lunch, I highly recommend the Sushi Time buffet, they have a good selection of great tasting sushi rolls on the buffet in addition to a few hot dishes at a great price! I tried most of the rolls on the lunch buffet and liked all of them (the ones I didn't try were for personal preference), don't expect anything fancy, but they get the basics right. You can complement them with chicken teriyaki or other hot items from the buffet, though there's only about 5 or 6 hot dishes, which were okay. Food aside, the restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere, and both the hostess and sushi chef were amicable. I'm hesitant to come here for dinner, however, as the dinner buffet is more expensive and while naturally I would expect more from it, I'm not sure where that would go and for about $5 more than the dinner price here I can go to nearby Tokyo House. Still, for lunch, it's a terrific sushi joint!

    You tell me?

Well I never write a bad review but dang sushi time... Why did you have to be so expensive. You are more expensive than California Sushi. There no way in h ell would I ever recommend this place. Maybe if you eat by yourself but if you eat with your family know way in h ell... Rice is smushy and it falls apart...

I was craving rolls, so I googled and found this place. It looked like Korean owner. The yellow one is called hot yellow the other one is rainbow. I like rainbow more but if you like creamcheese, you will like hot yellow. And I also ordered fried shrimps. It was $7 something(?) and 6 pieces. I dont thinn I'll ordered the fries again but it was okay though.

Delicious food. Comfy place. The owners are sweethearts. I've known this place for almost a year and I've fallen in love with it. First of all, sushi is great. The most simple rolls such as Cali are still amazing. Kitchen is delightful. The owners are absolutely sweet and kInd. Best sushi I've tried in my life, no doubt about it, and I've been a sushi fanatic for quite a while! Have tried a lot of places and I've found my favorite here. You guys need to try the 10 DOLLARS SPICY RAMEN! It's big and so delicious for real , and just for ten dollars? A must try! I'm eating one right now, forgot to take a pic, now plate's almost empty. Sushi places are always more expensive than regular restaurants, but I find it worth it. Love this place! It's so pretty, chill and nice!

Top to bottom: spicy crab, crunchy California, and tuna time.
    Chad S.

Sub-par sushi. But what can you expect from being in El Paso? However they do offer a lunch special, three rolls for $9.99. I got a crunchy California, tuna time, and spicy crab roll. Each rolls has the exact same stuffings. Avocado, crab, and cucumber... Except for the crunchy California which has cream cheese. The tuna time is the roll topped with a very tiny slice of tuna. However, the yellow tail nigiri I ordered was very good and a pretty good sized piece of fish on it. (Not pictured). I'll probably come again to see if it's different another time.

Combo platter they serve combo E great for 2 people to share very delicious!

Very clean establishment and good vibes with shoji screens and lighting. Our service was very good too! We explained how we have never been here before and our waitress explained in full detail the how to and their menu. She came back at a good rate and was very nice. Me and my partner got the standard course for two. It was around $68. That's a lot in my opinion for not that much food compared to a Korean bbq. The galbi short ribs for example, they only gave us 3. They couldn't even give us 4? Two each? That in general is also crazy small. The rest of the meats were flat pieces like brisket and little steak bits. That's not a lot of food. It looks like a lot but when meat shrinks it's just tasters. I'm not impressed with the amount I'm spending with the amount of food. It's honestly not a lot when you really break it down. We did try the mochi and me and my partner agreed that was probably the best mochi ice cream we have had. Plenty of options, very delicious and tasty. If you want some sort of BBQ experience, I would not come here as my first option. You're just wasting money when you can go to an all you can eat and order practically everything. If you wanted Individual plates of soemthing, for example the galbi short ribs for a plate was around $14. Cmon now. We wouldn't come back here. It was decent, too expensive for what you're getting. Only thing that wasn't great - our server, who was initially very sweet, became a little combative when I asked her why I was being charged for extra sauce I didn't even order (I assumed it came with the meal because she brought it before everything else) and never disclosed it was additional $ until I got the bill. She reluctantly removed it off the bill but it's not about the money, it's the principle. Everyone else stayed super friendly throughout our visit. But food and ambiance alone, this place was great.

We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Honestly, I was really hoping that this place would be good based on Google Reviews (big mistake…read moreright there), but I was terribly mistaken. Upon entering, you would notice a tarpaulin banner acting as a sign. This was very noticeable since we arrived for dinner, and you can compare it to the other neon signs with neighboring establishments. This gave me the notion that this place was relatively new. Stepping inside, the layout oddly feels like this place used to be a sports bar with the multiple screens mounted on the walls. There was a massive bar with a good amount of seating as well. The tables and chairs seemed to be very mismatched as the chairs were quite low to comfortable place your elbows on the table. Again, this might be a new place and just used some alternative seating before investing into new furniture- definitely nothing wrong with that. We were greeted by a pleasant girl (I unfortunately didn't get the name) and asked for our orders. She was the most notable thing about this place though- at least compared to the meal we had. We ordered ebi (shrimp) tempura and takoyaki as appetizers since we were all starving. They came out at a reasonable time and they were really good! There was enough octopus in the takoyaki (rare for most places) and the tempura tasted a bit like instant batter but it was fried well. The unfortunate star of the show was the ramen. We all ordered the Don tonkatsu ramen and it was disappointing. The broth was incredibly salty, which ruined the whole dish. The noodles, toppings and pork were fine, but not particularly outstanding. The broth was almost good with the flavor, but the saltiness was too overpowering that it was difficult to finish the ramen.
