We met our daughter at the Munchie Box for lunch on her birthday today. Although we were the only customers in the restaurant, we waited 40 unattended minutes while two online orders were prepared and picked up. When we asked about the delay in our order, we were told online orders take priority over dine-in customers, and our food would be another eight minutes. Nearly 50 minutes for sushi, while the restaurant was empty, is unacceptable, especially during a short lunch break. We canceled our order and went elsewhere. Inside is pretty small so seating is limited but it's modern, meaning the decor the music. The service I can't really comment on it because I did not dine in, I ordered to go. The girl at the register was nice and helpful. Probably will go back to dine in but it was just her so service might be slow. Food: I ordered the small sushi box -$50, which includes 4 rolls. They do come with 10 pieces of each! So better come w an appetite. It was 2 of us and it was more than enough! Didn't finish. We ordered the El Paso, very light and fresh; the Las Vegas-lightly fried w cooked salmon (I don't do raw ones); my wife ordered the chicken teriyaki roll, it was so good, also lightly fried; and shrimp tempura, just as it sounds but this was the least favorite. Thicker breading around the roll and a little hard by the time we got home. They also give you plenty of sauces for your sushi. The vibes are very modern day house music. Its cute! The service is good and can absolutely be better. There was one person there serving 3 tables at one point. Listen, if you're looking for good authentic real sushi, this is not your place. This is a good choice after getting stoned and you need something that tastes good regardless! It's definitely for the munchies. The chicken is a little dry but the GARLIC BUTTER sauce is the best garlic butter sauce I've had. The chicken can be better. I was shocked and deeply disappointed when The Munchie Box refused to serve me and my family in the restaurant because I had my service dog with me. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is illegal to deny service to a person with a disability because of their service animal. My service dog is trained to assist me with my medical condition, and I explained that clearly. Still, I was told I had to leave. This kind of treatment is not just disrespectful--it's discriminatory and against federal law. No one with a disability should be made to feel ashamed or unwelcome simply for needing support. Because of this, I have officially filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division against The Munchie Box. My family still wanted to try the food, so we placed an order for pickup instead. Unfortunately, the food we received was cold and below normal standards. So not only was the treatment discriminatory and unlawful, but the food did not justify giving this place any support. I strongly urge this business to educate its staff and management on ADA compliance and disability rights. No one should be treated this way. This experience was disappointing on every level. Until they take responsibility and make changes, I do not recommend this restaurant--especially to anyone in the disabled community or those who value basic respect and lawful treatment. read more

Unfortunately, the sign above the restaurant is in repair so, it's kind of hard to locate. It is definitely worth it when you do though. The dining room is small and can seat maybe 15 people. We were the only ones in the restaurant at lunch time and the service was great. We ordered the small munchie box (El Paso Roll and Buffalo Sauce on the boneless wings) and a Monterrey Roll. All of it was delicious. It seems like an odd combination, but boneless wings and sushi taste great together. Definitely recommend. read more

Took a friend here to try sushi for the first time. He is a very picky eater so the options of wings and sushi was perfect. We got the tiger roll and the spicy tuna roll both were awesome! We also had the flavored tea and couldn't stop talking about them. The only down side to note is the wings are boneless so do with that what you will. They had lots of flavors to choose from for sauce though and we will definitely be back! read more

I loved the presentation of the food. And even more so, the food was great. It's a good choice for a Saturday night at home movie night.
