    Yukaejang Soup & Kimchi Jun.
    David K.

Not just sushi. They have great Korean food. I had the yukaejang (spicey beef and vegetable soup) and Kimchi Jun (kimchi pancake). Both were very good. Tastes like mom made it . The banchan (side dishes) were also very tasty. There are two things I think could have been better to be perfect. I wish the soup came out a little hotter temperature wise and wish the rice was softer and fluffier and also more hot as well. I find the rice issue to be common. When the rice is hot, fresh and fluffy you can just eat the rice and kimchi and you would be satisfied. I would recommend this place for Korean food.

Why Haven't I Visited Sushi House Mom's Before? I finally made it to Sushi House Mom's, a hidden gem of a Korean restaurant in the Northeast part of town. The name had me a bit confused at first, and it's tucked away in an unexpected location, making it hard to spot from the main road. But oh my, was it worth the visit! The lunch specials are amazing - I had the full bento box with legit tempura and miso soup, and it was fire! The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and the service was absolutely wonderful. I can't believe I slept on this place for so long! When you find a good spot, you've gotta spread the word. No more poeticizing about California rolls or teriyaki beef - Sushi House Mom's is where it's at. The restaurant has more space inside than it seems from the outside, and the decor is clean and well-done. I'm just grateful this gem exists, and I encourage everyone to come by and show them some love! -TODOELPASO

Oh my gosh the food is SOOOO GOOD. They're very attentive and quick with their service. I got the OSAM BULGOGI. That was sooo good but I don't think I have the best tolerance for spice so I was kind of dying BUT it was still soooo so good. All their sides are great and very clean place (:

HUGE!!!! Presentable and really tasty. I got the Las Vegas roll and salmon special. So good imma have to go again asap

Everything was good and the cuts of fish for the sashimi and sushi were decent. The tempura batter on the Las Vegas roll was crunchy. For El Paso, it's a really good choice for sushi. We will be back.

Love coming here when we're in town because of the incredible service and amazing authentic food. Have tried many different things and they're all delicious. The owner and servers are always very kind and accommodating. Overall 5/5 stars and definitely recommend.

It's tucked away and would be missed if you weren't looking for it. Very friendly service. Lots of selection between Japanese dishes, sushi and Korean dishes. They even have Boba!

Don't let name fool you. Korean food is delicious.

Is craving Korean food and found this little place on Dyer. Don't let the name for you they do serve Korean food and it is authentic. The establishment was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely come again. Both my husband and I enjoyed our food and we had food left over to bring home to her daughter. We ordered a Korean pancake as an appetizer which was delicious along with a salmon skin roll which I was unable to take a picture of because we ate it fast....it was so good. Lol For the main course we ordered fried Makarek (Atka) and Japsae. It came with a few Korean side dishes which were all fresh and me to order the day. The restaurant was not very busy on the inside even though aesthetically it is very pleasing and clean. They seem to have tons of to go orders throughout our stay. I hope everyone comes to visit it is worth the drive.

Delicious, fresh, clean with friendly service! Sushi House is a hidden gem and not something you would expect to find on Dyer in the Northeast. Ample portions and the fish is always so fresh! I personally have a penchant for sashimi and this is the place to go (although sashimi is not listed on the menu they hand out but just ask!) When it cools off my partner likes their Udon -it's very light but flavorful and the noodles are delicious! We've also been several times for the bento box and have tried the salmon and chicken teriyaki! Both delicious as well! Cannot recommend this little hidden gem enough!

Really don't understand why this place is not recommended more often ... it's delicious and authentic! Been here twice and always love everything we get . The servers are super nice and sweet with kids ! Their milk teas are super good too!

Really great sushi and Korean food. Large portions. A sushi roll is the size a sushi roll should be - way better in every aspect vs sushi freak. Every aspect. So good.

The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun.
