I've been visiting ELP from NC and I've already ate here three times and will be getting again before I go home lol. The portions are good size. They have lots of different options and everything tastes fresh. The staff is nice and the restaurant is cozy looking. Definitely recommend! read more

i ordered the 9pc sashimis from door dash and was extremely disappointed. The tuna was chewy and the yellowtail wasn't even sliced it was 2 chunks and it was discolored and tasted horrible. I don't even write reviews but I had to it was nasty. read more

Sushi was delicious , the amount of rolls for the price is good as well.Service was good the server was kind and she told us about their special on Sundays 4x3 when we didn't know about it after just ordering three rolls. Everything I order is phenomenal every time love this place. Couldn't find anything wrong with it if I tried

Went on hand early dinner here and really enjoyed my meal. Started with the Kani cheese (crab sticks stuffed with cream cheese n fried), pork gyozas and tempura mushrooms. Everything was delicious. The mushrooms had a little kick due to the toreados inside. We ordered the las vegas roll, California roll, the oh my roll and the lobster roll. Can say the Oh my roll was my favorite. The choices are overwhelming but happy with what I got. I ordered the coconut tea and that was great. read more

Three sushi rolls for 39.75. They were good and well portioned. It actually felt like a real sushi spot that I could revisit to get more. Beto was a cool dude made sure we serviced to our satisfaction. I gave this place 4 stars slightly for a lil to no ambiance, as in music. Also because I'd like to keep it real and say anything in life can always be better. This place was great though. P.s volcano roll was really delicious read more

Kaizen Sushi - Top: Kaizen Fried Roll Middle: CUCUMBER ROLL SPECIAL Bottom: valcano roll - Sushi Bars Near Me - El Paso, Texas

**experience during covid-19 ** I found this place on yelp as a candidate for sushi delivery. I ordered edamame as I always do with sushi orders. I love steamed edamame! I did notice they were not seasoned in any way and I didn't see an option for spicy ones. We ordered 3 different rolls: -Las vegas: avocado, cream cheese, shrimp, crab, and salmon. (Deep fried) -Furikake: avocado, cream cheese, crab, and shrimp. (Nori wrapped on the outside) -El dorado: avocado, cucumbers, cream cheese, and shrimp. It also will have spicy tuna on top of roll. I am usually not one for deep fried rolls over the others. This time I have to say my favorite was the las vegas roll by far. As far as the delivery time it took around 50 minutes to arrive from the time that I ordered. It's actually not a bad time for everything considering it is a few miles from the destination. read more

I'm so disappointed because I have always loved coming here since high school and college but today I was very dissatisfied.... So I usually get the regular protein poke bowl. But today I wanted to put my hubby on and share one with him cuz I've been talking about that place my whole pregnancy (haven't been there for a year or two) so he ordered me the bowl and from what I remember they load the toppings and stuff on there I was never disappointed when ordering for work, on days off, afterschool and what not. Anyways we got the xtra large and I load on the sides and toppings. He comes back home and I'm ready to dig in with him but seeing the bowl I got sad, the protein portions: big as always! But the toppings they HEAVILY skimped on. Spinach 5 leaves, seaweed salad a tinie tiny pinch, didn't get the edamame, no jalapenos, crab was fine, whole lotta wonton chips, no nori, I didn't even see any masago. I mean I feel like they even skimped on the rice! Usually there's a perfect combination but today they really disappointed me :/ oh yeah so we couldn't really share it , they put it in the big bowl but it was half way so it could have clearly fit in the regular bowl so there's that I guess read more

This place is awesome! Came here by recommendation from family. Music is great, they have two tv's as you walk in and is not too far off the highway if you're not from this side of town. The prices are great for the portions. Presentation is excellent and you can literally have anything you want sushi related, even a sushi (burrito) ! I had the coconut tea, really tastes like coconut unlike other places. The Shrimp vegetables app is great, they deep fry them and made the vegetables delicious. I went with the Kaizen Deep Fried Roll as a speciality and it was great. Again, the portions here are phenomenal compared to other sushi places. Will definitely come back to try other things! Staff is also awesome . read more

I love this place. The miso soup. The poke. The appetizers. All so good. The staff is really nice & award every time you need something. Their crab stick appetizers are to die forrrrrr. It's crab with cream cheese. Kind of like a mozzarella stick. But oh so good. Their poke bowls are such a great size. Definitely worth it compared to other poke places. For the two times I've been here, I've never gotten anything that I didn't like. It's a small cute place that's great for a date, a family, or even by yourself. I hope they do delivery in the future with one of the delivering apps like door dash, grub hub, Uber eats, postmates. I recommend this place for anyone craving sushi! read more

I was super excited to try this place, but my excitement slowly turned to disappointment over the course of our meal. I first asked about the "large wings" in the appetizer section, and the waiter tried to tell me that "buldak" was a Japanese sauce. I speak Korean, my grandma is Japanese, my husband is half Korean, and we lived in Korea during the "buldak ramen" challenge craze. In Korean, "Bul" means "fire" and "dak" is chicken, so it's definitely not Japanese. Bummer for not knowing about what you're selling. There are a couple other Korean dishes on the menu, but I wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try them after the exchange with the waiter. The miso soup had a hint of chicken bouillon, which is kind of strange since miso soup broth is made from kombu and bonito flakes or dashi powder/granules, so it was missing a lot of "umami" for me. If there's no chicken broth/stock/bouillon, my mistake, but it was still missing "umami". We ordered Kani cheese, and I ordered a Poke bowl while my husband ordered the Dragon Roll. When I was marking my order down for the Poke, I asked if the "sweet chili" sauce on the paper was the same "sweet chili gochujang" that's in the actual menu. The waiter assured me it was. Yeah, definitely not even close to gochujang. It's the sweet chili sauce you get at Thai restaurants. Well, bummer. The serving size of the Poke was about twice as large as other Poke places for the same price, which is good if you're looking to get the most bang for your buck, but the rice was cold and clumpy! Well, bummer. The Dragon Roll, according to my husband, was just okay. There wasn't a lot of flavor to it, and there was more rice than what we've become accustomed to. The Kani cheese was the best part of our meal, so +1 star for that. Our waiter was very attentive and polite, so +1 for the service. Otherwise, I think we'll pass on this place even if it is very close to our house. read more

I would highly recommend this place. The staff was attentive and the food was great. The menu offered pretty unique rolls with some classics for those who want safe options. We ordered three rolls and a chicken gyoza. My favorite was the El Dorado followed by the Oh My Roll. They were really fresh. They gave us fresh wasabi with the Oh My Roll which was amazing. I had never had fresh wasabi before and I loved it. It was an incredible dining experience at a great price. Check them out! read more

Walked in and the air conditioner wasn't working. The only fan that was on was the one over the sushi chef so the rest of the restaurant was hot. Service was not the best. Waitress did not come around very often and from the back you could hear her saying she wanted to go home. Food was not bad but wasn't the best. It seems like most people order take out from this establishment more than dine in as the amount of DoorDashers was more than the dine in customers. Would I recommend? Probably not, it's one of those to try but probably never go back. read more

We just found this place 2 weeks ago and are really glad we did- AMAZING restaurant! The poke bowl was perfect, and the Sushi Burrito delicious! Listen, the first time I tried this spot I was impressed. The second time eh, now the third and last time it's an absolute no for me. I ordered a roll that says it would have tempura shrimp on top and what I got was frozen popcorn shrimp from Walmart. The ghetto y'all! Absolutely unacceptable. Aside from that, none of it was good. Their eel sauce is not made properly either. It's very thick and goopy, the color isn't even right. Fire the so called "chefs" as well as whoever is ordering the ingredients and start over. read more

good I love it! thank you for been fast and give a great service to the public. Good was delicious!

We ordered through Uber eats. The food was a bit bland and not incredibly authentic. There were raw jalapeño pieces sprinkled on top of one of the rolls and maybe we missed it in the description but it felt really out of place. The menu should also specify when salmon in the sushi is cooked or not. I ordered a salmon hand roll but the salmon on the outside was cooked? I've never seen that and honestly don't prefer my sushi salmon to be cooked. read more

The Vegas roll was so so nothing special, nice size. The poke bowl on the other hand .. The quality of the fish was not very good, the chunks were also cut pretty big, which made it feel like I was eating raw chicken. The color also resembled raw chicken, I tried both the spicy and the regular. The spicy seemed to be thickly marinated in it. Portion sizes were okay. Not as many toppings as other places. Pretty bland and not good I won't be returning read more

I like there mango tea. It was pretty good and I ordered a crunchy roll and a salad. The salad came with chicken in to and then chicken was dried out but other than that the dressing was a combination of sweet and vinegar which was great. Will definitely come back and recommend you go for yourself. read more

I ordered the Las Vegas sushi Roll, Fried rice and Chicken Teppanyaki through Grub Hub because there was a coupon. It's Trash food. And almost inedible. Greasy, oily and flavorless, the "sushi" was sub par with fried seaweed to wrap the roll, dry and pre-made out of the refrigerator. It was just gross. No wasabi or ginger on the side.
