Sushi was delicious , the amount of rolls for the price is good as well.Service was good the server was kind and she told us about their special on Sundays 4x3 when we didn't know about it after just ordering three rolls. The only thing is that the booth bench is kinda small so it's not too comfortable to sit there.

Went on hand early dinner here and really enjoyed my meal. Started with the Kani cheese (crab sticks stuffed with cream cheese n fried), pork gyozas and tempura mushrooms. Everything was delicious. The mushrooms had a little kick due to the toreados inside. We ordered the las vegas roll, California roll, the oh my roll and the lobster roll. Can say the Oh my roll was my favorite. The choices are overwhelming but happy with what I got. I ordered the coconut tea and that was great.

Three sushi rolls for 39.75. They were good and well portioned. It actually felt like a real sushi spot that I could revisit to get more. Beto was a cool dude made sure we serviced to our satisfaction. I gave this place 4 stars slightly for a lil to no ambiance, as in music. Also because I'd like to keep it real and say anything in life can always be better. This place was great though. P.s volcano roll was really delicious

**experience during covid-19 ** I found this place on yelp as a candidate for sushi delivery. I ordered edamame as I always do with sushi orders. I love steamed edamame! I did notice they were not seasoned in any way and I didn't see an option for spicy ones. We ordered 3 different rolls: -Las vegas: avocado, cream cheese, shrimp, crab, and salmon. (Deep fried) -Furikake: avocado, cream cheese, crab, and shrimp. (Nori wrapped on the outside) -El dorado: avocado, cucumbers, cream cheese, and shrimp. It also will have spicy tuna on top of roll. I am usually not one for deep fried rolls over the others. This time I have to say my favorite was the las vegas roll by far. As far as the delivery time it took around 50 minutes to arrive from the time that I ordered. It's actually not a bad time for everything considering it is a few miles from the destination.

This place is awesome! Came here by recommendation from family. Music is great, they have two tv's as you walk in and is not too far off the highway if you're not from this side of town. The prices are great for the portions. Presentation is excellent and you can literally have anything you want sushi related, even a sushi (burrito) ! I had the coconut tea, really tastes like coconut unlike other places. The Shrimp vegetables app is great, they deep fry them and made the vegetables delicious. I went with the Kaizen Deep Fried Roll as a speciality and it was great. Again, the portions here are phenomenal compared to other sushi places. Will definitely come back to try other things! Staff is also awesome .

I love this place. The miso soup. The poke. The appetizers. All so good. The staff is really nice & award every time you need something. Their crab stick appetizers are to die forrrrrr. It's crab with cream cheese. Kind of like a mozzarella stick. But oh so good. Their poke bowls are such a great size. Definitely worth it compared to other poke places. For the two times I've been here, I've never gotten anything that I didn't like. It's a small cute place that's great for a date, a family, or even by yourself. I hope they do delivery in the future with one of the delivering apps like door dash, grub hub, Uber eats, postmates. I recommend this place for anyone craving sushi!

Lazy Sunday. No need of cooking, I was craving something fresh and delicious. A year ago I discover this little place and since that day is my favorite sushi restaurant. I'm I salmon lover and the salmon has never disappointed me, always fresh and delicious. And let's not forget about the shrimp gyozas my favorites. I extremely recommend this place

Great fresh tasting sushi on the east side! This is the first place I've tried that puts cilantro in their rolls but it was a pleasant surprise! Great service and open now with proper social distancing in place. Need to come back to try the nigiri!

I was super excited to try this place, but my excitement slowly turned to disappointment over the course of our meal. I first asked about the "large wings" in the appetizer section, and the waiter tried to tell me that "buldak" was a Japanese sauce. I speak Korean, my grandma is Japanese, my husband is half Korean, and we lived in Korea during the "buldak ramen" challenge craze. In Korean, "Bul" means "fire" and "dak" is chicken, so it's definitely not Japanese. Bummer for not knowing about what you're selling. There are a couple other Korean dishes on the menu, but I wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try them after the exchange with the waiter. The miso soup had a hint of chicken bouillon, which is kind of strange since miso soup broth is made from kombu and bonito flakes or dashi powder/granules, so it was missing a lot of "umami" for me. If there's no chicken broth/stock/bouillon, my mistake, but it was still missing "umami". We ordered Kani cheese, and I ordered a Poke bowl while my husband ordered the Dragon Roll. When I was marking my order down for the Poke, I asked if the "sweet chili" sauce on the paper was the same "sweet chili gochujang" that's in the actual menu. The waiter assured me it was. Yeah, definitely not even close to gochujang. It's the sweet chili sauce you get at Thai restaurants. Well, bummer. The serving size of the Poke was about twice as large as other Poke places for the same price, which is good if you're looking to get the most bang for your buck, but the rice was cold and clumpy! Well, bummer. The Dragon Roll, according to my husband, was just okay. There wasn't a lot of flavor to it, and there was more rice than what we've become accustomed to. The Kani cheese was the best part of our meal, so +1 star for that. Our waiter was very attentive and polite, so +1 for the service. Otherwise, I think we'll pass on this place even if it is very close to our house.

We visited on a weeknight for dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly busy for it being a weeknight but the service was still great! Our waiter came out right away to get our drink order. I asked him for a recommendation for their flavored Sake and he suggested the white peach so I ordered that. It was good! Very strong. But I liked it. My husband and I each got our own order of crab Rangoon. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! I'd honestly get two orders just for myself, it was so delicious. For my main dish I got the California roll. I know, I'm very basic. But honestly it is my favorite! I think we may have come on an off day for them because the rice used for the sushi rolls was a bit dry. But it wasn't unbearable. They also give free miso soup and pickled cucumbers. Very tasty! I'd definitely come back for their crab Rangoon alone! Service was great too, I'll be back again.

My husband is a fan of hibachi style cuisine so we looked up a spot near our home and Koze was the first to pop up! They also had good reviews so we were all for it. When we first arrived the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated at the grill (for show) or the dining room. Since my husband does like watching the cook do his thing, we opted to wait the 15-20 minutes for a grill to become available. Next time we will definitely make note to call ahead and make a reservation though! Once we were seated we looked over the menu to see our options. I will say that the service at Koze was a bit lacking. Our waitress took quite a while to come around for our drink order, main course and then at the end of the evening for us to pay our bill. I'm not sure if she was serving a lot of other tables for the night but that was just our experience. It would have been nice if she came around more so we weren't looking for her. My husbands parents got the shrimp and scallop meal to split, my husband ordered the chicken and scallops. I, however, decided to try their sushi - so I got the California roll and the BBQ salmon roll. Once the chef came around to start cooking (which took quite a while) he started the show. I will also note that there was a bit of a language barrier between us and the chef. He tried asking us questions, such as if we were celebrating a birthday, but it was very hard for us to understand what he was saying. We could also tell he was a bit new at the job because certain "tricks" he'd mess up on or had to try a couple times before he got it right. For the food, I will say that I did enjoy my sushi. Both rolls were delicious! My husband ate mostly the protein on his plate. They give a huge portion of fried rice for the main courses, it's definitely enough for two people. I believe his parents said they thought the meal was good as well. I think it came down to the service we received which kind of left a bad impression. The food was good it was just the lack of service that left me wanting more. I know there are other hibachi restaurants in El Paso. I will probably try those with my husband. I wouldn't mind coming back to Koze, I understand maybe they were just having a bad day. But I would also try other places.

Quiet little spot for tasty ramen…read more I was actually looking for the spot on Lee Trviño, but since we were already here, we gave it a try and get, not too bad at all. Yvette greeted us at the front, seated us quickly, and checked on us often. She was friendly and kept on us to not worry about the small mess the kids were making. She was great. She offered us an assortment of the hot brewer teas they had, but we were there for the ramen. We did order some appetizers. The Sakura Sampler comes with four of three appetizers. (Shrimp tempura, dumplings -fried or steamed, and chicken karage). It was all pretty good. The shrimp could be a bit bigger for the tempura shrimp, but fine. Noemi tried the cheese Wontons, and noted that she has had better...that's just straight up from a 9yo. Onto the main course. Noah and I ordered the Jigoku Ramen. It's the ramen with the sliced Japanese crispy chicken breast, half cooked egg, marinated bamboo, sliced cabbage, corn, green onion, seaweed, itokiri, and black garlic oil in a spicy miso broth. Let me just say it wasn't too bad. I thought it was filling and tasty. Noah thought it was too much...but what's an 11yo gonna say to this huge lot of goodness brought to him. Liz had a tonkatsu ramen. This is usually our go to. The broth was great, but I think the chasu pork belly could have been fried a bit more to get the appropriate crunch in there. That soup came with the roasted chasu pork belly, cooked egg, corn, marinated bamboo, green onions, seaweed, black garlic oil in their house tonkatsu sauce. Liz downed this one, with Noemi's assistance. The place plays morning football on the NFL channel if you are there on a Sunday morning. It wasn't crowded but more and more folks arrived as we got closer to 1pm. I thought it was worth checking out it's ramen portions are commendable. They have 11 ramen flavors to try and I would try the others as well. Recommended.
