This place definitely deserves five stars for the quality and consistency of their food and service. I discovered this new place by walking by in this plaza. It's conveniently located on Edgemere near Walgreens. The atmosphere is very modern, well decorated and clean. The employees here are so kind and are always welcoming. My fav item thus far here is their Poke bowl. The poke is always fresh. I love how you can customize it by your choice of 2 or 3 meats; salmon, tuna (spicy or regular), shrimp, eel, etc., and whatever else you desire from their selection. The regular serving was more than enough for me. I couldn't imagine finishing their large bowl. My husbands favorite menu item are their bone-in wings. They are Jumbo size and flavored to perfection. So the place is really nice with a really handsome dragon painted and the vibe was chill. Nice ambience and furniture. My mom and I loved the music they were playing too. However, given that sushi is supposed to be fresh, the food was not the best and the imitation crab tasted like it had the wrong chemicals added to it. Customer service was adequate. I really like their poke bowls, they let you pick 2-3 proteins. Rice or salad then a variety of toppings. I usually get the poke bowl with 3 proteins and it's very filling, it's huge. I usually save the rest for later. Very much worth the price! read more

I've done a ton of food deliveries from this place so I finally decided to try it for myself. Staff is friendly. I do like the decor and the 90s alt rock playing is a nice touch. The Kani cheese was by far the best thing we had. The spicy ranch really pulled the dish together. The fried veggie tempura was great. Hard to mess that up. The potstickers came out cold so that was kinda a bummer. But at least they made us fresh ones when we told them. The Kaizen fried roll was good. My only issue with it was the tempura shrimp might still have had the tails attached. Which is fine if u dont batter over the tails so I know not to eat them. Some tips for that 5th star: I shouldn't have to ask for wasabi, it should just be brought out or at least offered. Make sure your potstickers are cooked all the way. And make sure the tails on shrimp are either easy to see or just cut them off. Will recommend, will return.... read more

While I usually sing the praises of kaizen today I was extremely disappointed. Typically they are earlier than projected delivery time, today they were quite a bit late. On top of that, they sent the wrong sushi roll that I requested. The specialty rolls are excellent, and they have good specials. The service is always decent and friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean and appealing.
