POKE IS LIFE!!!! I remember the first time i ever had poke, and it was life altering. I always liked eating the occasional sashimi here and there, but it wasnt until a few years ago that i discovered the magnificence that is poke! Sadly because of that particular spot of eureka, i still consider to be superior above all else and set the rest of them below. This place is good tho. I love their bowl sizes that can vary so that i dont have to waste anything or overeat, which is usually the case lol. So i was able to get a small portion of 3 meats, which was tuna, spicy tuna, and shrimp. I absolutely ADORE tuna so i usually cant resist its chunky, hearty goodness. I also enjoy a good spring mix/kale base for my poke to be as healthy as possible. And im an absolute sucker for mango and edamame when it comes to pairing sashimi type cuts. So i threw that in, plus avocado, plus fried onions. Dont judge me! I know that is crap but i love onions! Lol Didnt have their poke 3 dressing of all things tho. So that was kind of a let down. I settled for their citrus ponzu which was good. Super fast and super friendly staff! Not to bad of a price for 3 protein choices so im extremely happy when they make sure not to skim their scoops of protein with that baby sized spoon of theirs they call a scooper lol read more

This place is pretty cool. I went here for dinner. There was no crowd, but they have plenty of seating area. The ingredients were fresh, and I like their options. However, on the menu, it says two poke scoops for the number I got, but the scoops weren't regular. They were freaking tiny like baby scoops. One ice cream scoop was bigger than one poke scoop. I understand fresh fish is expensive, but damn, those scoops were little. I'm not over exaggerating at all. Unless the worker used the wrong scooper, I was disappointed, and I got an extra scoop, so the bowl wasn't just full of rice. You can check it out if you want, but don't expect the scoops to be regular scoops. If you're a poke lover, be prepared to pay additional for the tiny scoops or find another poke place in town and then compare it to this one. Maybe the tiny poke scoop is consistent around town. I know times are tough but my last experience was unacceptable! Got a poke bowl to go. First, the only protein options were salmon or tuna, and they only had a handful of toppings with more than half of the containers empty. When I ate the bowl at home I had to try and separate the white rice to discard it because it was dried out, in clumps, and hard. It was probably made a few days earlier! Then the tuna itself had a lot of connective tissue and was stringy and hard to chew. This was by far, the worst poke I've had anywhere. read more

I'm so glad more Poke places are popping up in the East side. We usually go to PokeBar because it's close, but since this place has changed their menu up, I actually prefer it over PokeBar. The bowls are quite large and priced correctly for the quantity. My husband got a Sushiritto, and after seeing the size, it's definitely not the same amount of stuff you get in a bowl, but I'm pretty sure they charge you the same as a bowl! Maybe try putting two sheets of nori together to make it more equivalent? From what we've seen in other places, that seems to be the norm. -1 star for that The addition of the juice bar is really nice, and we'll be back more often! read more

Though I didn't necessarily like their customer service; their poke was as closer to Hawaiian poke than the other poke spot across the street. Fish was fresh and it actually had flavor. Rice could use some work; it was kinda mushing in some bites. All in all I can't complain... I also have very high standards when it comes to poke. read more

I can honestly say this place very well exceeded my expectations upon entering. Not only was the food exceptional but the customer service (for me) was not something I encounter on a daily basis. Atmosphere and lighting in the place is great. The people there are very friendly and don't mind allowing to try something if your not sure about the taste. This review is specifically on their Bobas. Okay, they're $4.00 they have strawberry, lychee, taro, coconut and watermelon boba. I've drank many bobas in my lifetime as I come from an island with a lot of Asian influence. Bubble/Boba teas are a Taiwanese beverage. First, I have to point out that the bubbles (tapioca pearls) SUCK! They're not even soft and chewy the way they're supposed to be they are hard and crack. The texture is off putting. Reason why is because rather than keeping them in a honey Tupperware they keep them in water in the fridge which messes with the texture of the bubbles. Secondly.they put ice in the shaker. Normally you just shake the liquids and pour it over the ice and bubbles. I was really disappointed with their boba. They don't even have green tea or milk tea flavor. I'd say just go here for their specialty in sushi and pokes. If you want good boba's go a few blocks down to Ice & pan where there's an Asian who knows what she's doing when making bobas. read more

I am so happy to have found this place! It was literally my first time having a poke bowl and i couldnt have been more pleased. fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Join the rewards club! After a couple of month of visiting weekly i have just had my first free bowl! I have only had 2 misses from this place but i know they are all in a learning curve. Poke 3 Classic is the best bowl. It is my go-to order. All the sauces are delicious. Alternate between sauces so you can try them all.

As I write this, I am still nauseous from having eaten here the day before. I have been to many Poké places and the plain sushi should be exactly that - plain. This place covers theirs in copious amounts of pepper for some reason. Then and there, I should have walked out but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I usually have a very minimalistic bowl, and ask for extra seaweed salad wherever I go. This place barely even gave a tiny pinch, and when I did ask for a third scoop (mind you the first two were so unbelievably small), AFTER the employee put it in my bowl, he said "that will be an extra charge". Every establishment I have been to, they usually tell you before they serve you the extra serving - again, I should have left here. But I stayed again for some reason. I got no extra toppings, no dry ingredients, no sauces - and STILL was charged an extra dollar for the tiny pinch of seaweed salad. The excess pepper is horrible on sushi, fyi, this should be an option in the dry ingredients portion, not prepared beforehand. Not to mention the nausea and upset stomach I currently have from what I assume is old fish. The rice was very dry and hard and apparently not the usual amount given because the guy asked me if it was enough since he was scraping the bottom of the pan. This was a very disappointing, nauseating, and expensive experience. Thankfully there are many other Poké options in town, and I strongly recommend you try another place. read more

This is not a review on the restaurants food! I only ordered boba tea because it's the summer, they're cold and sweet and just what we needed. Anyways, the boba teas were not good. The tapioca pearls were hard and we couldn't eat them, they barely put any tapioca pearls in the tea, and the tea itself didn't taste good. It tasted old. Coming from Hawaii where there's a ton poke places this is a better option than the Poke Bar. It's great that you can customize your poke bowl. It's a lot pricier than Hawaii (weird because the cost of living is a lot higher and the fish is right out the ocean in Hawaii). They give very tiny scoops of fish here. Also, not very consistent; one time my poke bowl did not come sushi rice. It came with dry rice that did not stick together. You can tell the difference. Wish they would tell customers they ran out of sushi rice because I would have gotten a salad bowl instead. read more

today was my first time trying this poke spot. to start off the serving size for a bowl is little to nothing. i ordered the build ur own with spicy tuna. spicy tuna was good. the rice was so hard almost seemed uncooked. i added cucumbers a few other vegetables & mandarin. THE MANDARIN WAS RANCID. as soon as i took a bite it was so acidic and expired i spit it out and no longer continued eating. this was a disappointment being my first time. i will not be returning. especially after consuming undercooked rice & rancid fruits. read more

It looks like they don't clean the shrimp. The salmon was slimy. Everything was just nasty. Will never go back again. I'm extremely grossed out. Had never been to a Poke Bar before, walked in and was immediately greeted by a very upbeat friendly staff member who asked if I've ever been there before. I mentioned I hadn't she explained everything to me and made the process easy and fun. I had some questions on some of the items they had to add to a bowl she was quick to give me samples and seemed very patient. I must say that it's a major turn off when you go somewhere new and feel rushed, this was the exact opposite. I got a custom bowl with sushi rice, chicken, edamame, mandarin oranges, cucumber, wontons, and sesame drizzled with teriyaki sauce, the bowl was light yet filling. This is one of those places you can go to and not feel completely guilty after you eat. I would definitely recommend. Ps the juice they sell there from mom's fresh is also super good. I tried the Ocean Water lemonade they had and it was refreshing and not super sweet. read more
