Very busy on Thursday after christmas, Thursday is their $20 seafood boil day also. First time, decided to stop in with my family. Busy busy busyyyy great for the business, not so great for my brother that waited an hour for a burger while the rest of our party and the rest of the establishment ate without him. I used to love their seafood boils. However, the last 2 seafood boils that I have got, came with half cooked,/half raw shrimp. I always order them to go so by the time I get home and am ready to dig in, I am over it and not willing to make the drive back to let them know. I ordered a boil today and sure enough, the shrimp was raw in the middle and it was all mushy, the corn was cold as hell/overcooked, the potatoes weren't even cooked since they were still hard, and the crab wasn't even coated in the sauce. Finally came to their permanent spot. We have been visiting this spot as a food truck for a couple of years and so happy for them to have a permanent spot now. This time around we ordered tacos Mar y Tierra and aguachiles verde. Both plates were delicious! Very generous servings. We also had aguas de melon and mazapán and again, a generous serving. Not family oriented. Spouse walked in with my mom in law and my toddler/nephew. They weren't immediately greeted, once an employee approached him, he immediately refused service. My mil explained they had mozzarella cheese sticks for my nephew who is autistic and food sensitive, but he refused to listen or serve them or offer them any type of sympathy. Far from being a decent pasable taco. Came specifically for "Taco Thursday Special" but was very disappointed. Food came in cold, flavor was bland, no salsas, no limes. The server tried her best but could use some training. I guess they might have some good food judging by the smell of the restaurant, but we didn't get serve that. This restaurant is garbage. From the service#1, being ignored by waitresses, not being greeted to the shit buffet that was NOTHING like they advertised on their Facebook. I have been in El Paso for a month now with 5 failed attempts to find good tasting tacos and on a random exploration I came across this hidden gem right off the road. This place has their stuff together and employees are very friendly. It was 45 minutes until closing and they informed me they only had tacos and drinks which is exactly what i was in the mood for. I ordered the al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos and aqua mazapan (last one). Man was this the ultimate hunger cure! I took one bite in my truck and was hooked on the cheese, texture of the meat, the grease, and slight crunch of the tortilla. They do not skimp on the amount of meat and size of these bad boys. All the fixings come with it. Now on to the mazepan drink... its huge and taste exactly what the name says. Amazing. read more

The presentation was beautiful everything was very flavorful and customer service was a 10. Highly recommend. I'm so glad we discovered this place on Instagram, the pictures looked amazing and so appetizing, we just had to try it. Living on the west side, this place is literally on the opposite side of the planet for us, so we took advantage that we were on that side of town yesterday. I sure am glad we did because the food and drinks are absolutely AMAZING. Husband and I both ordered steak tacos, and man were they amazing. There's 5 tacos to an order, and the meat is cubed, mixed with melted cheese. Every bite is delicious cheesy/meaty goodness. You get green and red salsa on the side, along with a toreado, grilled onions, limes and cilantro. The drinks are TO DIE FOR. They have an horchata, which unlike any other place that I've been to that serves horchata, this one is dyed blue (see picture). They also have other aguas, like pineapple, pistachio, and mazapan. They give you different drink size and cup options, such as getting your drink in a mini barrilito (like the giant agua jars), a regular plastic cup (no whip) and another regular plastic cup WITH the whipped cream and other goodies on top. The horchata and mazapan aguas are definitely the best so far. This place is so worth it, and Thursday's they have a 2 x 20 taco special which is not that bad of a price if you ask me. Only downside is this place is outdoors and you're constantly swarmed by flies but I would give Chucoviche a million stars if I could! read more

The food was delicious. I ordered a shrimp fiesta. The shrimp was huge. and the bacon was very crispy. I enjoyed it, but it was drizzling. and the guy decides to open the back door right where we're sitting the food, got cold real fast and I asked him if he could please close the door and very graciously he said yes, but he never closed it. I asked him again and he ignored me. I do not know if he was the owner or manager. He was a young guy with curly hair. I finally asked our waitress, and she said no, but she left. She was joking and closed it when it came to paying The waitress was charging me for two Aguas when I only ordered one and drank one, and I was charged a convenience fee to use a card that had not even been used since I was paying cash it took her two rounds to fix this if you are not bothered by someone opening a door next to you and getting all your food, cold and having to pay an extra 3+ for a drink that was not given to you. We got here an hour after they opened. One other car was there besides us, there was no line. We waited an hour for 2 plates. We asked how much longer it would be and the guy at the register kept saying "it's coming". Other cars would come after and get their food within 10 minutes. Best mariscos in town!! Everything is always fresh and delicious always consistent no matter how busy they are.

The food was terrible as it was missing flavor as well as seasoning. I ordered the VIP Toreado plate and it was not good at all. Same goes for the shrimp tacos as they were under seasoned and served lukewarm which brings us to the service. Our waiter didn't bring out the shrimp tacos till 40 minutes after ordering (the place was not busy and others received their food even when they ordered after us). I had to try to find our waitress as well as to let her know we were missing our plate. At the end when it came to pay the service was also prolonged as it took about 20 minutes over all just to close out as she walked past us multiple times. This place seemed to have graced a customer base with their food truck but let it go down with their restaurant. Another thing to note is the false advertising of the Mazapán Horchata, the picture in the menu is very deceiving but it will not be served as the picture. read more
