The menu has a good selection of drinks with different spirits and flavors. I didn't realize it, but they also have a short food menu, mainly consisting of smashburgers and finger foods from what I saw. Esther's is connected to the hotel next door so very convenient for guests. It also has a pretty calm and classy vibe, and there are disco lights! Parking can be a little difficult because it's downtown, but you can always try to get street parking with a little walk. I honestly find parking down the street, and it's not that hard. There's also parking you can pay for right on the corners, so there are different ways of finding a place to park. Taking an Uber would be a great idea as well, so you don't have to deal with anything and can drink as much as you want. They do not have valet. Service: The service has always been super friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, all the times that I've gone, they've been very helpful with helping us get seats and just giving us a great experience, even with how busy it gets. This is definitely a spot that I not only recommend to everyone, but it's somewhere that I will continue to go because it's genuinely one of my favorites!

We opted for the meat charcuterie, and it was beautifully presented with enough for the two of us to share. There is also a cheese charcuterie on the menu, but unfortunately there is not an option for a combined meat and cheese plate. We sat, sipped, and tasted for a while and never felt rushed. I can browse a liquor store & pick out a bottle that exactly fits my preferences, my mood, & my budget. I can bring it home & uncork the wine, checking the cork for freshness. I can pull out my special glassware & pour myself a glass of wine & enjoy it on my own couch. So why go out to a wine bar, if not for the wine? For me, it's for the ambience & the experience. Both of those things at Providence Wine Bar were lacking. The lights were too bright (overhead & fluorescent) & the music was too loud (& just bad). The employees seemed both bored & nervous, with not much to do to occupy themselves. I was one of the only people in the bar, so I felt like I was under scrutiny - I'm certain this wasn't intentional but it was unfortunately how it came across. I brought a book but couldn't focus because of the lights & the music. I even caught myself with my fingers in my ears, trying to muffle the sounds of 2010s hyper pop. I have nothing against 2010s hyperpop, it's just that there's a time & place for everything, & maybe that isn't at a wine bar at 8 PM on a Wednesday. I just wanted to be done with my glass of wine so that I could leave. All of that being said, I wish them the best. It seems like they need a good manager's touch.

The chicken tenders are outstanding & the wraps are delicious. Such a great stop before a show or outing in Providence! The menu is creative, themed and full of options that immediately made us want to come back again. We visited on Cinco de Mayo and loved all of the specials. From the margaritas to the chips with a trio of dips, everything was fresh and flavorful. The chicken tacos were especially standout. They were so juicy and delicious they truly did not need a darn thing added to them. Even though it was busy before the show, everyone was friendly and absolutely hustling to keep things moving. The atmosphere was energetic and fun without feeling chaotic. We will definitely be back soon to try more menu options and see what new themes they come up with next. Inside was nice with a large bar, high top tables and then some lounge chair seating. When I went to the bathroom, I discovered they had an outside patio with table and chairs. We ended up sitting out here and enjoyed it. The drinks were good but my favorite part was they have games to use while at the establishment. We chose the hook and ring toss game but they had cards and I think chess too. We did not have food on this visit but would come back to try it. The only thing that prevents them from attaining 5 is the attention to details and care that it takes to make them true 5 stars. But again, this a a bar and lounge. I think it would not matter much if come here later in the evening, after you have been to dinner elsewhere, and want to hang out with your friends with late night snack and drinks. I thought the service was friendly but a bit relaxed, but again, if you come here to chill, being the "relaxed" atmosphere will not upset you.
