The food and drinks were amazing! The staff was so friendly and welcoming that we stayed at the bar longer than expected. The bar is a bit small but if it's not busy, enjoy!

Almost didn't want to post this because Sapphire was such a good find. This place puts out some really good vibes. Let's start with the Bartender, Melissa. She makes an incredible drink and really knows her stuff. A friend asked for a mock-tail and was really blown away by the concoction she brewed up. The Melissa's Assignment is my go-to for sure. Something she came up with on her own! They have some delicious Tapas on the menu, I had the Patatas Bravas and the Sliders. Both great, the Romesco aioli was a great addition. They also partner with the liquor store next door (Uncorked) for wine tastings, and then will prepare a menu to pair food items with the wines from the tasting. Well deserved 5 stars.

Awesome!!! Came with my wife Sylvia and was blown away! We sat outside on the patio. Plenty of space and cosy lighting on a wonderful summer night. A great place to chill. Excellent drinks! I had the Perfect Martini and honey had an Old Fashion. Super good! We shared the tandoori chicken which was perfectly spiced with super fresh naan. The service was amazing. Great experience. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Poutine, Tandoori Chicken, and Carnita Taco were all amazing. The owner/cook and bartender were so welcoming. The Cucumber Cooler cocktail was refreshing and yummy.

Cocktails are a must here. The snacks are pretty good. I wish they were open everyday. Good place to relax on a Friday night.

Melissa made the drink with an expertise that few have and while she was making them, we engaged in conversation with Marc, the beverage manager.

Wow. If you're looking for a spot that has amazing food, beautiful art and design aspects, friendly…read moreservice, and plates to share, Aguardente is the place for you. A friend and I came in and put our names on the waitlist, waited for about 45 minutes at a bar down the street, and then had some of the most fulfilling tapas ever! We got a Prosciutto & Salpicao board, the Queijo de Cabra, and Frijol Dip. I also got a nice portuguese red wine that paired well with some of the cheese we received. We sat in a very sweet and cozy nook and enjoyed every minute! I will be back when it's warm out and the front patio is open!

At their front patio, they had the World Cup game playing, but the back patio felt cozier so we opted for that. The inside though was a strong second since the lighting is very low, creating a cool and calm environment. Walking through the restaurant to get to our table made me realize that each table is unique, no two are decorated the same or have the same furniture. It was a hot day but the overhead mesh cover blocked out a lot of the sun. Our waitress made us feel very welcome from the start and told us about their drink and food specials. My friend ordered Guatemalan beer as well as a Spanish beer. For food, we ordered the plantain fries, octopus, calamari, and shrimp salad, and grilled lamp chops. The seafood salad came out first. According to the menu, it was going to be paired with cornbread. It looked like sourdough bread but had a far denser consistency. I was expecting the salad to have lots of shrimp to act as a filler but surprisingly, it was about 60% octopus, 25% calamari, 10% shrimp, and 5% onions. The seafood was very flavorful, tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was great for two. Next came the plantain fries, which I was least impressed with as it was essentially fried plantain chunks. I think it would have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces that can be easily dipped and consumed in one bite. The plantain was gently ripe, so just a little sweet and the dipping sauce was like a less sour sour cream. Lastly, the lamp chops came out and the presentation was wonderful. They were a bit skinnier and less tender than that I was expecting, but flavor wise they were good. We enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here.

I was lucky to have tried North when it was open so when I saw the former chefs were preparing the meal for Chef Night, I knew I had to sign up and was so glad I did. The meal was stupendous! The first course was shrimp and corn fritters. The fritters were filled with shrimp and corn and you can visually see the shrimp and corn. It wasn't overly doughy and the sauce was delicious! Chef Andrew described the dish and he told us that the shrimp was locally sourced from Dune Brothers. The second course was noodles with tomato and pepper dashi and grilled fish. The noodles were fresh, but it started to get a little clumpy. The dashi was really flavorful. The third course was miso tres leches cake with sakura whipped cream. This course I was the most excited about and it totally blew my expectations. Chef Andrew told us that they hand picked sakura petals and made their own whipped cream. The tres leches cake was moist, dense, and airy. The dessert was definitely the star of the show. Bravo to chefs Andrew McQuesten and Stephen Sternkopf for a wonderful locally sourced meal. Jean-Marc and the other bartender were also very friendly and accommodating. They checked on all the customers throughout the night and made yummy drinks. I had the Toasted Venture. This is one of the signature cocktails and has Toasted Pumpkin Seed-Infused Misguided Spirits Red Sky Silver Rum/Cynar/St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur/Rosemary Elixir/Mole Bitters. It was very good. A time at Clementine's is always wonderful.
