Had to get something quick since my flight was boarding. I was able to get a chicken burrito and I let them know I needed it fast and I got it within 4 mins...that's fast so I made my flight. It was a good tasting burrito with a good amount of chicken but the size was pretty small for the $18 price so I'm not totally sure it's worth the price? Running low on time in a busy airport is usually a nightmare when traveling. Heading to my boarding gate saw Santo and some spots to sit down by the bar. The handicap seat has a handy outlet with USB as well. Service was quick and efficient. Had the single Cheeseburger with all the fixings. Was fresh and yummy before a longer flight. Came with tater tots. They use Toast for table side payments so that great to get business receipts emailed and tap to pay. From the start the bartender was dismissive and unfriendly. I asked for a coke but then realized they had tea and asked if I could also have that and the bartender rolled his eyes and walked off to make the drink. There was food sitting in the window for over twenty minutes while the bartender socialized with the front checkout guy instead of bringing tables their order. Both men were making jokes about previous customers loud enough for us to hear at the bar. Both were apathetic and the bartender was rude and moody the whole time then tried to be nice at the end for tip. Food was awful, and sat for way too long, we didn't even eat our burritos. My most recent visit to Denver International Airport could have been a disaster. Originally, I had a two-hour layover between flights, but I accepted $50 to stretch my layover out to four hours. I have plenty of books to read, and the airport is generally the perfect place to read, what with all the comfy seating. And wouldn't you you know it? My original flight to Denver from Midway was delayed almost two hours, so I was getting paid not to miss my connecting flight, in a way. But some excruciating lower-back pain returned quite randomly as I walked through Concourse C, and I could barely sit down, let alone sit down to eat. Thankfully, the medication I had for my back problem eventually kicked in, and I needed a place to eat. Santo is fine. It's overpriced, but you get a decent amount. I like that they don't force you to order on a screen, although they encourage it. I refuse all that BS, because if I'm overpaying, then they're going to take my order. I ordered the loaded tots. They very helpfully point out which items are vegetarian. They were OK. I probably would have enjoyed them better if I hadn't been in so much physical pain while sitting at a table with an immobile seat far too close to the table itself. The tots weren't spicy in a bad way, but the special New Mexico sauce or whatever felt a little bit more congealed than it needed to. DEN is so fancy now. There's not much variety when it comes to food; each dining section seems to have the same selection of stores and restaurants--not the same brands, but the same food categories. Santo did the job, and despite my pain, I did manage to read quite a bit. read more

Got a few grab n go burritos and headed directly to register, passing a customer ordering at the kiosk. Grab n go meaning food is prepared and don't need to order, just pay. The employee gave me attitude saying the line starts after the customer ordering at kiosk. Completely unnecessary. I walked past the restaurant a few minutes later and saw another customer doing the same thing in line with a grab n go item. Same employee said nothing to him. I can only speculate as to the reason for differential treatment but you can find out for yourself. read more

After paying, we went to sit down but were told that area was for "dine-in" only, something that wasn't made clear at all when ordering. So we stood with several others waiting for food. After a while, it became clear the wait was long, so we asked another customer how long they'd been waiting... they said over 20 minutes. I went to the counter to cancel our order, but the staff member insisted it would be ready soon and took my name. He said five minutes or less. Our food came about seven minutes later, but our drinks were missing. It then took another five minutes to pour a cider (correct) and a beer (wrong). We tried to stop him mid-pour, but he didn't notice. When we pointed out the mistake, it took another few minutes to fix it. Overall, the service was extremely slow and disorganized, especially for an airport "on-the-go" spot. Save yourself the frustration and grab food elsewhere on Concourse C. read more

As a semi-certified New Mexico Chile (red & green never forget there's 2 options) aficionado, I give Santo full props. For airport food they are rocking it. I am quite picky with my chile (NM native) and Santo is doing a stand up job.. I have a couple critiques because I live for NM chile but this was fantastic. I ordered the green chili hamburger from the kiosk. Ordering was easy and didn't take too long to get my food. The burger was excellent - chopped roasted hatch chilis and excellent lettuce, tomato and onion. They griddle the bun so it is a little crispy. Excellent.
