We like the burritos here and this time is no different. Beef and beans and chicharrones for me. There is a new sign about price adjustments on non cash transactions. I assume it means if your transaction is not above a certain dollar amount they will charge a service fee. The sign is confusing. I posted a photo of the sign. We get our order and head home to eat the burritos. My chicharrones burrito is good. His burritos are wrapped the same way as last purchase. It's not a great way to wrap them. The foil is folded into the burrito itself making it difficult to eat. We don't understand why they've started folding their burritos this way. It makes a mess unwrapping them. I need to remember to let them know not to do that.

This food was supposed to be carnitas!

First let me say I should of went with my gut! Turn away. The place look like an Old diner. Needed more than one so called waitress. Everyone looked unhappy or just miserable. Not vey clean. The food was absolutely disgusting!! So sad this place is even open. But then again some people don't know what good MEXICAN FOOD IS!! Authentic.... This stuff can never compare. When I tasted the Rellenos it was like bitting into Leatherfaces face!!! The other Rellenos were like Chinese egg rolls with a slice of a hatch chili. As for the carnitas. It smelled like canned dog food. I know this is harsh but 100% truth. It all was trashed as we left and still paid. Good luck y'all.very disappointed -10

A must have here. Beef & Bean Indian Taco.

Ok, so I had to make a detour on my last trip to the Denver area and visit Santiago's as I used to really enjoy the Indian Taco when I lived there a very long time ago and surprisingly this restaurant location is still there which was great to see. They have several more locations in the area since I last visited and I can see why they are expanding as the Indian taco and their famous green Chile is a must have and it was as good as I remembered. Simple, flavorful and that texture of the fried shells layered with the cheese and green chile sauce is heaven I think.

Living in Denver for over 20 years Santiago's has been a staple for quick Mexican food. My recent visit has nothing to do with the staff. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The burrito on the other hand. I had a breakfast burrito with the meat of the day. It was worst than "Where is Waldo" finding the meat. Don't know what the meat was. Second, it had zero flavor. The look was there. It just didn't taste like anything. The green chile and chicharrón were lacking any resemblance of pork. Overall they need to overhaul the cooks or revamp the recipe. I would say they are a pass.

Breakfast burritos smothered and green chili. Great breakfast with dad!

Awesome green chili. Never disappoints!! Breakfast burritos are always spot on. I live out of state now but always stock up on a few quarts when I'm in town!

A couple things worth mentioning: the kids meal portions are quite small, and the chile rellenos don't always have cheese inside. At this price point, I'd expect those details to be consistent every single visit. Overall though, it's still one of our family's go-to spots for Mexican food! Service is typically fast & the restaurant has gorgeous 360 views of Castle Rock which is nice!

I was distracted by the person behind glass making the wonderful fresh tortillas. As homebrewers, my husband and I were interested in what their brew set up looked like. It was behind glass and visible from where we were seated. Always neat to see how a brewery is set up, no two are the same. Dulce took care of us. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh with a nice kick. He got a taco plate with ground beef tacos, rice and beans. He paired that with the LDP IPA. He enjoyed his meal. I love Chile Rellenos, so that is what I chose for my lunch. It came smothered with their green chili and with some of those wonderful warm tortillas on the side. I paired mine with their Aqua Fresca, a slightly altered base of their Mexican Lager with the addition of Prickly Pear purée and Key Lime. It was refreshing and tasted like summer. I had half of my lunch to bring home with me. The view from where we sat was beautiful. I would come back.

If enthusiasm were a menu item, Eli would be the house specialty…read more From the moment we sat down, Eli hit us with the energy of someone who just discovered Cuban food five minutes ago and couldn't believe we hadn't already. Every recommendation came with passion, personal testimony, and what I'm pretty sure was a sworn oath that our lives were about to change. "Trust me." "No -- TRUST me." "You're gonna thank me later." Reader, I did thank him later. Every dish he pointed at was absolute fire. Not a single miss. It was like having a culinary tour guide who had eaten the entire menu twice and survived to tell the tale. Food was incredible, vibes were great, and Eli deserves either a raise, a podcast, or his own Food Network show. Come hungry. Leave full. Tip Eli like he personally cooked your meal (because emotionally, he did)

Arrived around 5:30 p.m. on Monday and was greeted and sat immediately. Our server was super friendly even though she was one of the only servers and had many tables to tend to. The food is close to authentic Cuban. I love the plantain chips and dip and I always get the picadillo. This was our first time getting the flan and my goodness it was delicious. You have to have a cortado as well. Sometimes they have live music and when the weather is nice it is always a good idea to sit outside. Maybe I will try another dish aside from piccadillo next time but that's a big maybe. ;)
