Drove over from a town 45 minutes away. Should have eaten at home. Last night was a busy Friday night to be sure. Got there about 7 and was seated rather quickly. (party of one). Server came to the table for the drink order. Said she would be right back with the drink and some hot rolls. About 10 minutes later she came back with the water and said she was "so sorry", the rolls were still in the oven". Ordered a strip with onions and mushrooms, sweet potato and and a Ceasars salad. about 15 minutes passes and she comes back and says she's "so sorry, she was detained by a large party outside and someone else got the rolls. There were more in the oven. She did bring the salad but ran off without leaving a fork or a knife. I tried to flag down another server to no avail. Waited a long 7 minutes and I saw her and got her attention and asked for a fork. You guessed it, she was "so sorry" this time too. She then went to the booth behind me and I heard her say she was "so sorry" she didn't notice the man's side was missing!" As I waited for my fork, my meal arrived. It was brought by another server. He apologized that my meal had arrived before I had eaten my salad. I asked him for a fork as he walked away. Now, during this time large groups of diners were arriving and the staff was busy. I noticed the large party outside my window had left and I could see my server thru the window helping to arrange the tables and benches to accommodate a really large party. She came back in and I flagged her down and asked for a fork. Yep, she was so sorry. I was given a fork. As I started to eat my salad, I noticed there were no mushrooms on the now cold steak. I found her again and she was "so sorry" again and she had someone to bring some mushroom and onions. During the time I was eating my meal she came by 4 times to ask if I needed anything. It was a bit later for that. She left the bill and said "no hurry." As she left the table I saw an organized group of about 20 people pile in on the outside eating area they had arranged. I though, "this will be a goat rope". I put my card on my bill and waited for her to come and get it while I watched another server attend the large group to get drink orders. Lots of confusion out there since no one knew what they wanted to drink without consulting the person sitting next to them. I thought this is going to get worse when its time to order food. She came to my table and picked up my card and disappeared. Next I saw her outside my window trying to help the other server take food orders. As I suspected, it was a mess. It also took 20 minutes for her to get back to me with my card and the charge for me to sign. The server and the establishment obviously knew nothing about time management and setting priorities. Which is worse, having those people wait 2 minutes while she dropped of my check or me waiting 20 minutes for her to do so? I'm SO SORRY, I'm done with this place. read more

This is yet another place that has changed since my last time here at Rucker. The food is always hit or miss. Its either great one time or terrible the next.
