Very good food. My steak quesadilla with my shrooms and onions was very good. They serve it with sour cream and guacamole. My cheese enchilada was also good. They give you a large glass of sweet tea with hat was just right sweetness. Will go back again. Rose enjoyed her beef enchiladas. read more

I would not suggest this restaurant. Go over to San Marcos if you want good Mexican food. We have eaten at Rodeo twice and it's barely meh. The last time I got carnitas that had at best s few shreds of meat. The majority of the picture here is onion and verde sauce. Not at all what I am used to. I'm used to a small chunk of meat that is spice and citrus fragrant. We won't be back a third time. read more

We used to go here just about every Sunday after church. Thankfully, they have a very large room that can handle 20+ people. The waiters didn't seem to mind all the children running around and being loud. They just about always got our orders correct, which is hard when families are scattered around multiple tables. Not necessarily an entire menu of authentic Mexican fare, but the parrillada mexicana fajitas blow me away every time. I don't know how they do it, but the chunks of chorizo, pork, chicken, and shrimp manage to be (mostly) tender while the onions and peppers are beautifully caramelized. If you like spicy, I recommend asking for their spicier salsa and dripping it lightly on your food. It's pretty spicy on its own, but amongst the flour tortillas and rice it adds great flavor and just enough spice. Margaritas are nothing special, but better than el sabor, and they normally have friday specials on them! And I've never had bad service here...yet. Mexican food is decent but was pleasantly surprised with service! I tried ordering something new and when I received the order and realized the sauce my meal came with was a cheese sauce. It was my mistake as I didn't read the menu carefully enough. We asked to buy a third meal because I am lactose intolerant. They said their goal was to make their customers happy so they offered to just make a me an entirely new plate with a different sauce no charge. The in person service was only par but the food is great and reasonably priced. However, Tonight a attempted to call in and order and the line kept saying the mailbox was not set up. After several attempts I finally got through only to be told to hold for my order to be taken. The phone was sat to the side for 15 minutes as I heard random side conversations and a few people checking out. I eventually just hung up. Service is clearly not a priority. read more

Not sure what's going on.... The food is becoming more and more greasy which is not appetizing at all. We try to support our local restaurants here in Enterprise but last night the service stank and after getting chased out 1/2 hour before they close; that was it for me, that was rude. They actually turned the lights out on us, I was still drinking my margarita. LOL! We usually eat there twice a week, but there's plenty of other restaurants around. Bye bye Rodeo. read more

Desperate for a decent meal in Enterprise my friend and I decided to visit the Rodeo. Our taste buds were shot from microwaved food being passed as restaurant quality. The parking lot was packed so we figured this had to be good. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken quickly (a big plus for Enterprise). Chips were hot and the salsa was tasty. My only gripe here is we got what looked like bottom of the barrel chip crumb bed; nice fresh whole Tortilla chips on top of a bed of what can best be described as corn meal. Food was not bad. I had the Chori Pollo, which is a common dish I order at Mexican restaurants. While it was the worst version I have ever eaten it was still pretty good. I would call it excellent given its location. In all its an OK place to eat if you want Mexican and are stuck in Enterprise. read more

Pretty average Mexican/American fare but I gave 4 stars because each item I taste is better than the competition Mexican restaurants. Plenty of room. Nice bar. Sometimes service is a touch slow which keeps me from giving a higher rating, but not so slow that it keeps me from going back. read more

I go here probably once every week or two. The service is generally pretty great. The food is always hot and fresh. I've only had one bad experience here, and it was when they were extremely busy. The food isn't really expensive and it has a great vibe. I'd recommend this place over Labamba's or La Leyenda's. read more

I have eaten here twice. Both times the service was below average. We were seated fairly quickly so it has always started of well. Then down hill from there. It takes them forever to get an order out. It not like we ordered something not on the menu. I am a carnitas fan, supposed to be crispy pork tips. Well it wasnt both times, boiled looking grey mess. The Tamale was cold...not warm-luke warm....down right cold. Must have been sitting on the counter for awhile. We had to ask someone elses server for a refill on our drinks as our server was nowhere to be found. Complaints from every table around us...one elderly fellow asked the waitress if they were outback skinning the chicken... It was entertaining to say the least. Bottom line upfront is that Mexican Rodeo and I are no longer doing business together. Down-Size the number of tables to fit what your kitchen can produce. It may even improve your food quailty and customer happiness. We waited over an hour to get our food after the order was taken. So good luck you all it may be better for you. read more

It's very rare for me to get up from a meal and walk out but I had too here. In one bite the meat tasted like the stuff at the bottom of and outdoor grill smells. I thought it was just the burrito so I tried the enchilada. Same taste. So I talked to who appeared to be the manager and told him, "Sorry but this food sucks. I can't eat it!" He assured me that he checks it everyday and that it must be me. All I have to say is that this place sucks. Consistently mediocre. Not terrible Mexican food for lower Alabama, but not worth recommending to a friend. If you have a Mexican craving, this will scratch the itch... Tonight (7/13/16) I had the fajita quesadilla - and it was okay. They had to change the beer keg so it took approx 10 min for a draft beer to get to the table - understandable, but ok. We go on Saturdays for the daily specials of Fajitas. They treat us like family! We have our special table in the back. They are quick with the fresh chips and salsa and drinks. The food is great most times. The only thing I think they could improve on is a water filter because I can still taste chlorine in my ice tea. The climate inside is clean, quiet, and comfortable temps. We will be coming back week after week, because their daily special prices can't be beat! read more

Fast and friendly service. The chips are really good - thin/crisp and they are not cheap with the salsa. Nice selection of dishes - I have been through many of them. I normally stay away from ground beef; try the queso fundido and enchiladas verdes. The rocks Margarita is too cheap, but the Texas and frozen are acceptable. read more
