Went here with my family. The food was delicious. I had the Apache burger. You have to try it, it is pretty good. The food quality was just elevated. Their crinkle fries look to be made fresh in house and were paired with a Jalepeno Ranch sauce. It was very good. My wife had the Chicken with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Again, the quality was top notch. The waitress was really nice and attentive. It was just starting to get busy when we left, but we got our food pretty quickly for what I assume was made from scratch. We will be going back. read more

Ordered the Apache burger and asked for no habanero due to an allergy. Told server I was allergic to habaneros and he said he could bring me an Apache burger without the habanero jam topping. I was surprised to see my burger came back with the jam. I politely asked the server if it had habanero jam because I did not want to make an assumption, and he proceeded to inform me after bringing the burger that he is not allowed to make the burger without the jam. He offered to let me speak to the manager, and led both of the owners to our table several minutes later. The female manager proceeded to speak with hostility towards me about how the Apache burger is the one item on their menu they refuse to modify in a very condescending manner. I respectfully explained that I simply have an allergy and informed the server who took our order. I continued to explain that he didn't mention any issues with taking it off and that I had no idea due to it not being annotated on the menu. She offered to take it back and bring me a different item off of the menu, but refused to make the Apache burger without adding the jam on top. Our group then decided we no longer would like to dine at the establishment and asked for our checks. My husband and I did not eat the burgers. (I couldn't due to the habanero jam I'm allergic to) and they had the audacity to charge us full price for both burgers. Man the cheese curds were great! A true joy to eat along with the tuna dip. Service was a tad slow, but the servers were nice. Then the entrees... We had tried to get the nachos with chicken, but they were out. Then the Apache burger order. We had heard good things about the Apache burger from friends who came here before. My wife, our two friends and myself all got the Apache burger ordered different ways. My wife being allergic to habaneros told the server Cody, and asked for the burger without the habanero jam. Cody had not mentioned anything about that being an issue and took all of our orders. The burger wait was about 15-20 minutes before 4 burgers came out. They all served them and looked great but my wife's burger had the habanero jam on it. She mentioned to the server that she had asked for the habanero to not be included. He mentioned that it was not possible to get it off the burger without the habanero jam until after the burger was served and that he could get the owner of it was a problem. Cody came back 3 minutes later and we had to ask for the owner. The owner came and introduced herself as such in a pretty hostile way. Not a great start. She continued to introduce a man next to her as a co-owner and ask why we had requested her presence. My wife tried to explain to her that she had an allergy, and would like to have the burger without the jam. The owner quickly got defensive and said that she would be unwilling to change the burger. She harshly offered to make my wife something else and that if she didn't want the burger she didn't have to eat it. My wife stated that the burger looked good and that she would appreciate the burger with just no jam or even with it on the side. The owner then got even more harsh and hostile towards our group and said that the burger would not be changed and that the restaurant had been created with that jam on it since the beginning, and that it wouldn't be changed. She was very condescending and disrespectful toward my wife. She mentioned that when the new menu came out that there would be a note under the burger stating that it could not be changed. I tried to point out that the current menu stated nothing about this and our server had not informed us of this. She then directed her aggressive tone towards me, and proceeded to state that there was nothing they could do and that they would not change their mind on this. An unfortunate experience to say the least. If the owner had instead been more respectful and slower towards anger this review would look much different. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant 2x and it has been amazing both times. The shrimp and grits are wonderful! Just spicy enough without the jalapeño being overwhelming. The red eye gravy is cooked in with the grits with a splash on top for added flavor. I loved their shrimp and grits so much the first time that I got it again on my second visit and recommended the dish to a fellow diner who also raved over it. I will try the Mahi on my next visit. I've heard that it's awesome too. The restaurant is intimate, the staff is welcoming, the food is delicious and presented well, waiters are attentive, and managers are very supportive of community organizations. Absolutely delicious! We got our kids the Mac and cheese as pictured. It was delicious we had to order a second for them. I got the Apache burger and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth! First two pictures are from late March and they no longer have the "Blackhawk burger" pictured with guacamole, they seem to change it monthly, May is the Kiowa burger. However, I must say this place is amazing. We ordered all the appetizers, they have a "start samples" option for 2 apps and 3 apps. Unfortunately I did not get pictures of the pretzel sticks or the cheesecake we ordered, we ate them before I could snap a pic that's how good it was! The fried mushrooms weren't my favorite, they had liquid in them, but overall they were pretty good. Next three pictures are from May. The tuna dip is extremely good and they give you a decent amount of dip for the price. For the burger, I asked for medium rare, it's a little crispy on the outside, but perfect on the inside. The cheese to my surprise was cold, it was kinda weird but still really good. The bread is toasted and the BBQ sauce is seeping through, so delicious! Definitely have to try next months burger! read more

This is a great little place and I wished I found it sooner. We had a super time at Monday night trivia and the service was great. We had a few beers, some margaritas, sandwich, and cheesecake. Was in town for business and decided to give it a try. We had the Cheese Curds for an appetizer and the Beer Battered Fish & Chips. The Cheese Curds with Marinara Sauce were excellent. I would definitely recommend. The presentation for the Beer Battered Fish entree was a little unusual with the Fish Pieces being large cubes instead of fillets. Fish was good but nothing special. The Seasoned Potato Wedges with Beer Cheese on the other hand were very good. But then everything is better with Beer Cheese. My co-worker decided to try the Pale Ale Mac-N-Cheese instead of the Chips. She said it was okay not great. For Dessert I had the Orange Dream Cheesecake. It was good but not quite the "Creamsicle" flavor I was expecting. All in all, we enjoyed and I would likely return if in the area again. read more

This place has been steadily going down hill over the last few years. The food is mediocre and every employee seems to hate working there. The place itself isn't too bad if you can get over the multiple TVs on every wall. However, no one goes to a restaurant to watch the game show network or whatever movie happens to be on TBS.... Disappointing visit. Last time I was here the food was pretty decent, or would have given two stars. Ordered the bison burger- described in the menu as "banh mi inspired", which sounded exciting. Burger came out off-puttingly small, overcooked, and the sriracha aioli overwhelmed any of the more interesting picked onion/carrot flavors. Burger was served with a side of sweet potato fries which were actually fried perfectly. However, for some reason they were crusted with cinnamon/sugar. The whole subpar production ran $17. Didn't have an opportunity to convey thoughts on the food, because no one asked . Going to go get more food somewhere else now because my stomach is still hungry. Will return, partly because there aren't many other options in this town, but.... disappointing. read more

Everything we ordered, they were out of. We had to wait 50 minutes for them to tell us, they were out of something even the stuff that we replaced was wrong. . The Manager blamed it on the amount of people they had. We constantly were told, they weren't expecting this many people, even though they were having trivia night. The food came out 1.2 hours later and was over cooked to say the least. The cranberry chicken salad was good, however, no pecans. We had to go get our drinks at the bar because it was so backed up. It seemed as if the place was more concerned about trivia night than taking care of its customers. We were told, don't worry, the stuff we were out of you didn't get charged for. The staff assist each other and Ginger (owner) came out as well. The food as always was prepared well, drinks were awesome. Went in to try this restaurant with the wife and some family. If you love craft beer you will love this place and my wife love craft beer and said all the beers were great. I had the fish and chips which said they were beer battered but when it arrived it wasn't. It is small chunks of battered cod which it wasnt terrible just not amazing either. My wife had the Brussels sprouts and said they were good. My cousin George got the bison burger and it was 20$ and it was very small. All in all it was okay. Have you ever been Catfished? Well let me tell you a story... Woke up this morning craving some good red meat, and went to White Oak Ale House after work because I was fresh out of steak at the casa. As I pursued the menu, the bison burger caught my eye, so I ordered it, sans bun or cheese due to a stupid diet. It looked promising on the menu and I was really looking forward to sinking my teeth into an expected patty of protein goodness. What showed up however, can only be described as a culinary catfish. Literally the same size as my ramekin, and it left more questions than answers. What did the bun look like? Why wasn't this listed on the menu as a slider? Why do I keep making poor choices in life? Please don't follow my example. Save your wallet and your anger for something worthwhile at my expense. read more

I've been here twice. I really wanted to love it, since Enterprise and Dothan lack many non chain places to eat other than BBQ. The first time I ordered the bison burger, against my better judgement ($18 for a burger is really steep...). The waitress insisted though. Well, It was overcooked, under flavored, and unimpressive. I actually hated it. An $18 burger should be better than a Five Guys burger. It wasn't. The waitress never even came back until it was time for the bill. It took me two months to forget how bad the burger and service was. I went again today and ordered the fish and chips. The batter was way too thick and crunchy- overfried (just like the burger). The potato wedges were clearly from a frozen bag and were incredibly bland and disappointing. They could at least make their own fries in house. My friend got a buffalo wrap- it looked like an appetizer- he was wondering where the rest was. The service was much better though, but the place was also pretty empty. The beer selection is great, but is a bit overpriced. All the pints are at least $1 more then they should be. 3 stars is generous. Their other restaurant in New Brockton, Frogz, is better, but pricey. I would only return if I were having drinks, but then again, many of the same brews can be had at Mellow Mushroom across the street for a bit less. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Neat and clean establishment that has great specials, a crafty menu, and plenty of cold draft beer to meet ones needs.
