If I could leave a zero I would. A friend and I drove from Enterprise to have lunch. We went in and saw a few people eating ate the bar. We sat at a table. After waiting for someone to acknowledge us and not seeing any staff after several minutes, we just left. Will never go back. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Very eclectic! I love how they cut the fries. I got a hamburger and I felt like I was grilling out in my backyard. Very tasty. They have bands and a lot of outdoor sitting space and fire-pit. We've passed this place over a dozen of times heading to Seaside, Fl and never had the opportunity to stop and eat until today on our way home to Cobb Co. we will stop again for sure! The owner was there and he was very friendly. He told us the unique history of the place. If you have time stop in for a bite! if u run into the owner ask him about the place. Just visited the this place and will definitely be going back. I wish I would have gotten photos but it was too good to stop. We ordered the nachos with beef for warm up and they did not disappoint. We cleared the whole basket. My husband ordered the cajun burger w/fries and I ordered the hot hamburger. This hot burger is a piece of white bread topped with a cheeseburger patty, fries, and gravy. I had such high expectations going into this place. It looks so fun for the area! The waitress had a personality of a rake. She was at the bar when we walked in and didn't greet us at all. We stood there for a moment and she never acknowledged us. A member of our party eventually got her attention and asked if we could have a sit any where. There was one other person in the restaurant when we arrived. After we were seated she brought menus over and the other patron asked what the soup of the day was and the waitress replied "I think lobster bisque" red flag right there. The waitress doesn't even know the special. We make our decisions and she comes back to take our order (I order the lobster bisque soup and half sandwich of club with no mayo). On her way back the other patron mentioned to the waitress that he wanted his sandwich grilled. She comes out not long after to bring my soup and his sandwich. She sets his down and brings me my soup. He has to stop her and say that he ordered the grouper sandwich and not the Rueben. If she thought he ordered the Rueben, why didn't she ask for clarification for wanting it grilled. The soup was very unimpressive. I was expecting chunks of lobster but it was all puréed. The taste was ehh. Not something I'd order again or recommend. When she brings our food, there is mayo on my sandwich and it was smothered on both ends of the bread. It was quite the ordeal just trying to get her attention to say my order was wrong. I had finished my soup and the other members of my party were almost done eating before we finally saw her and were able to get her to bring my the correct sandwich order. We don't see here again until another couple walks in. We had to stop her again to ask for the check. Overall: the service was terrible. The waitress had no personality. Either the waitress didn't seem bothered to know customers orders or the kitchen staff just doesn't care. The food isn't terrible, but I could make the exact same sandwich at home. Maybe it's better as a bar, but as a restaurant at lunch time. You'd be better off just going home and making a sandwich. read more

What a fun surprise this place is!! The food is REALLY good and the atmosphere is funky and fun. I was very surprised by the quality, and the price, of the steak! One of the best I've had in ages and they were almost giving them away. Our server was new, so not as on the mark as she will be, but friendly and accommodating. My friends raved about their burgers and the chicken salad was a hit! The fish basket on my return visit was amazingly tasty. All in all, this place is a definite must try! This is a nice little pub to go and have a cold beer or a glass of wine and just sit back and relax. The decor is eclectic and charming, and the staff is friendly. We have eaten here a couple of times, and the Reuben is good. The Philly cheese steak and French dip, not so much. They are both exactly the same, except the Philly has a tad bit of onion and pepper, and the French dip comes with au jus, of course. Definitely not your traditional Philly cheese steak. It has the same sliced roast beef as the French dip, on the same type of bread. And I had to look to see if there was any cheese because you couldn't tell if there was any. I would like to try some of their other food items but won't get the Philly or French dip again. It is definitely worth going to for the atmosphere and drinks, so we will be back. read more

Friend selected table near front because she said the chairs looked more comfortable. They were but on this hot Friday evening the sun shines through the front window and the front was really warm. Moved toward back and that was better. Wife ordered Philly Cheese Steak but was told that they were out of that kind of meat. If you don't have something on Friday night when did you run out? It was 5:20 PM and there were only three of us there! She then ordered French Dip and said later that it was one of the worst she had ever had and had it not been for the Au Jus, it would have been inedible. If my wife says anything bad about food that she doesn't have to cook it must be really bad because she will usually say that it was "OK". I had the Shrimp Po Boy and being originally from New Orleans, I did not expect too much. My expectations were met. While it was fair sized, the shrimp were grilled and not fried. Come on folks, fry the shrimp. The bread was some kind of overly soft "Hoagie Roll". They should go to Publix and get some crusty bread but that isn't going to happen in this lifetime. People in Elba would probably complain that it broke their tooth. Yeah, tooth, one tooth. I hear there are only 23 in the whole town? I don't drink beer but noticed that most bottles were $2.50 which is a pretty good price around here. I think. Wine was $4 a glass and had more vino than other places I've been too in this area. Sorry Elba but the next time we ask that friend out to eat, we will probably go to the Old Town Grill in Opp. read more
