I asked if the bartender was working and he said they were not ready yet. when he finally brought our food I had ordered a bake potato but he brought a sweet potato. after he corrected that my mother in law had asked for coctail sauce with her shrimp and he forgot that. we then ordered a to go order and after we had waited for a lengthy time I asked another server to check on it because he was just walking around. she brought it right out. Overall, the food felt pretty mediocre, especially for the price--you're definitely paying premium prices for food that doesn't match. I had the ahi tuna nachos, which had potential, but there was barely any tuna or toppings on the chips. The other dish ordered was the breakfast burger, and it came out very greasy--almost like it had been sitting in oil. The quality of the meat itself was good, but the preparation really missed the mark. I'm hoping management sees this and takes it as constructive feedback. The fact that Dennis was so great at handling this scenario, along with this being a birthday occasion and my my friends absolutely enjoying their entreesm, is the SOLE reason the restaurant gets the fourth star. They still had glass cups for more specialty drinks like wine and coffee but soda and water were in plastic. I was also pretty sure they used to have cloth napkins and those are gone too. I feel like this place is too expensive to skimp on little details like that.
