Stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. First time trying a place like this and so glad I did! The good. If you haven't tried a place like this, its basically a deconstructed sushi roll. Think qdoba style bowl building with sushi ingredients! The sushi and ingredients were all very fresh. They have a lot of bowl recipes to choose from but I decided to go freestyle and make my own using Ahi and spicy tuna. For the price of 1 roll at a restaurant, I got about 1.5-2 rolls worth of sushi, great deal. The restaurant is clean a inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Service was fast as well! The service is awesome. I came in talked to the cashier about not eating gluten, or raw proteins and the chef came over recommended the most delicious meal. I also liked the courtesy they gave me, it was a lady in the line behind that was getting upset due to the time I was taking. The cashier graciously allowed the chef to continue talking with me and took the lady order. I enjoyed sitting listening to music in a clean peaceful setting. I absolutely love this place already. This is my first time but from the time I arrived to the time I said goodbye after ordering they were so nice. I couldn't wait to get home to try what I built in my bowl. Which is an option you can choose I got a whole lot of delicious choices. Everything was fresh and so fulfilling. Today was our first visit to Ahi Poké Bar. We were beyond surprised with our overall experience! The store is clean and well organized, and the staff are incredibly courteous and helpful for first-timers. Their menu has a wide variety to appeal to lovers of raw sushi/poke or less-adventurous diners with cooked seafood or chicken options. There's even a vegan option that doesn't appear to lack in flavor! We ordered the Fire Cracker and Unagi Bowls. Both were prepared quickly from scratch in front of us, with the option to make any changes to ingredients or sauces. We enjoyed both as they come on the menu. The flavors were beyond any poké bowl or sushi I've had in the past (including a recent trip to Jacksonville for sushi!!). No need for soy sauce! Honestly, there is nothing we would change about the food or restaurant.
