I had my first time experience with Sushi Box. I was overwhelmed by the plethora of choices but decided to go with a bento box. I traditionally love beef bulgogi at other restaurants so was eager to try it from here when I saw it on the menu with the Bento Box. When you go to Sushi Box you go up to the counter and there's a menu behind the counter on the wall but the nice young lady at the register directed me to a smaller sized menu with more details and more items. I wished I saw the sign with the specials but it was okay. The price seemed standard for this type of meal. The fruit green tea drink was $5.95 and the bento boxes range between $12.95-$13.95. The sushi sounded delicious but I was getting a little sushi with my Bento Box so I did not order more. They gave me a number and I sat at a table of my choosing and they brought out my beverage first, then after a short wait my meal. The Beef Bulgogi was served on a bed of sautéed vegetables (onion, broccoli, zucchini, and mushrooms). The spring rolls were cooked to golden perfection. I ate them first along with the California rolls. I did not have much room left to finish the meal but I was able to eat some of the bulgogi. It had a delicious traditional bulgogi taste and was sweet and savory. The fried rice was fluffy and had little bits of fried egg. The table is stocked up with forks, chop sticks, napkins, and kikkoman low sodium soy sauce. I missed seeing a little container of utensils in the front. There were forks, spoons, and knives so I will know for next time. The staff was friendly in helping me locate the to go boxes and brought it to my table for me. They keep it clean and nice in there. The only thing I wish they would add are sesame seeds in the beef bulgogi. That little extra flavor and crunch is always good on it but I may ask for that next time to see if it's an option. Love this restaurant! Service is amazing and friendly. Always clean and pretty quick from order to food arriving. Sushi is very good and fresh and portions are substantial. Two people can easily eat for 25-30$. It's definitely a bit Americanized (lots of toppings and sauces & many of the rolls are cooked rather than raw) but it's always busy and we've never had anything we didn't love. Only drawback is it's pretty loud and not the best place for a date night and conversation. read more

Happy to have a SushiBox in Montgomery! They have cool Japanese sodas. They recently added boba to the menu and it's a nice place to try out sushi if you're new to eating it. I love this place and am so glad I discovered it. The inside atmosphere feels fresh and modern; although I've never eaten inside. The service is always pretty fast and the menu is easy to read. I especially love the covered (with patio umbrellas) outdoor seating area in the front of the restaurant. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food (I'm always too eager to eat it and it goes fast!) but I will be going again. I do have to mention it is a bit pricey but every once in a while is fine. I wouldn't eat here everyday. read more
