I guess I was expecting a beef sausage that would've complimented the yum yum sauce more. I had been looking forward to trying Wok N Soul and was pretty disappointed. The broth for the Ramen was very flavorful. The Spicy Seafood dish came with calamari, scallops and shrimp and the sauce was spicy and not overly sweet. The fam also enjoyed their fried cheese cake dessert which I didn't try. Be warned, this is a very expensive Asian restaurant so be prepared to spend some money. Our waiter was great and very attentive. I didn't get to check out the decor inside because we were sat outside which was not ideal because it has a view of the parking lot. It was full of seafood flavoured, while the dumplings and spring rolls were more standard. If you want to try something special, I would recommend ordering the crab cake on its own instead. Next, we had the Firecracker Grouper, a tempura-fried grouper served with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The fish itself was fresh and nicely fried, but the sauce did not quite work for me. It lacked sweetness and did not enhance the flavor of the fish. Compared to the crab cake, this dish did not have a wow factor. The Chinese Barbecue Duck was a highlight. The duck breast was served on top of a scallion tempura pancake, which made the dish feel creative and innovative. Both the duck and the pancake tasted great.
