You already know I gotta find boba wherever I'm at. Found this spot with great reviews and we decided to stop on in. Service was great and he had great recommendations. My son loves the milk teas and I always stick with the fruit teas. If you're not into aloe vera then ask them not to add it. Very nice spot with a chill vibe. Wow! This is easily the best tea place in Tallahassee! A pal recently bought me a tea and I have been hooked ever since. The teas have great flavor, delicious toppings and nice packaging. If you are looking for a pick me up in Tallahassee, this is the place for you! They have a variety of teas-including milk, fruit and matcha. Plus, they are serve food. I have not tried the food but it smells amazing, so I'm sure it's fabulous. My personal favorite is the lychee berry tea at the normal sugar level. I could drink this every day! It's perfect! There is plenty of seating inside for any size groups. It's kept very clean and the staff are friendly. Plus, it's pet friendly! read more

This tea house near the Florida State University. The are a lot of the students customers. We were there at 2 pm which is slow time for them. We saw three customers sit on the table. The menu price of the tea is high side in compare to many place I know. I got the taro slush tea. After order, I went to restroom. When I came out, I ask where is the drink. The clerk said it will take another 10 minutes. I was wondering why take 10 minutes while no one making it. And seem like no one ahead me. Seem like is one person operation and no other customers order after me and why take 10 minutes. I tell them I am in hurry, either they can return the money and cancel the order or they make it. Immediately I got my order make. Something is not quite right from order to wait time and not making the order. This method need improvement from order to deliver the product. read more

I've never been excited by the prospect of a Local Bubble tea shop in Tallahassee, because quite frankly, I've never had it in Tallahassee before, growing up here for 17 years. My sister suggested it so we all gathered here for boba and catching up. Located in a pretty quiet strip mall, I can't imagine people would find this shop easily without word of mouth/social media/etc. I ordered a Thai Royal tea with boba, 50% sugar and while it was pretty good, the wait was awful. Luckily, we had board games to play while we waited, but it felt weird that all my friends finished their drinks before I even got mine. I probably waited 30 minutes for my drink, not even exaggerating. Of course, it wasn't 100% the girl's fault, since she was the only one working. When I arrived, she had to take the orders of 5-6 people in front of me, while also having to make drinks for 5-6 people in front of them. She got a bit mixed up and I ended up having to go to the counter to ask her if she had forgotten... which she had. I felt so bad that she was the only one working that weekend, but I also don't enjoy waiting 30 minutes for a drink that would take her 2-3 minutes to make. The boba were chewy, the tea was strong and creamy and not too sweet. I definitely think there's some sort of system that needs fixing or they need to hire more workers. Otherwise, I think Bubbly has a lot of potential. read more

Might just be my favorite Boba Tea spot in town. The two drinks that I had here tasted amazing, service was top notch, and just had an overall great first experience here. Ordered the Tiger Spice Chai (50% sugar), Mango Tango (50% sugar), and popcorn chicken. The Tiger Spice Chai was sweet and tasty with a hint but not overwhelming blast of Chai which gave it perfect flavor. My only complaint was that the boba was a little harder than I would have liked but great drink overall. The Mango Tango amazing for a hot summer's day which is basically 80% of the time here in FL, great blend of sweet and tangy, beautiful drink, and the mango jelly gave it great texture and flavor as well. The popcorn chicken, I'm always skeptical having experienced some of the best in Taiwan and California but this was pretty good here. They were lightly fried and battered and they let you add as much or as little salt and pepper and chili power on top. Great flavor, would definitely get again. Great to share! Highly recommended! Service: Brandon is the man, fantastic service, gave great recommendations, very friendly and was very helpful and specific when I asked him what the popular drinks were and his favorites. 5/5 for service hands down! 5/5 for great tea! Will be coming back! read more

This is my favorite small business to support in all of Tallahassee. I come here once a week (sometimes 2-3 times a week) and have brought all of my friends here. The biggest hit is the boba/bubble tea of course (I've tried maybe 12 things off the menu and have enjoyed them all), but their popcorn chicken is to die for. The Korean cheese dog also hits a spot if you're in the mood for a satisfying fried cheese snack. The owner is polite and the entire staff is informative and great at answering questions about the menu to customers who have never been before or tried boba. Service is fast with drinks even if there's a line of people. There are games to play in the back, cute decorations on the wall, and some soft music playing in the back. TV sometimes plays the music or has the news. Lots of seating, good for groups. Great place to study, chill, relax, hang out with friends. Family friendly for sure and in an accessible location. My number one go to spot! read more

I ordered the original bubbly milk tea and it was decent, but I wish the tea flavor was stronger. The boba itself was sweet and very chewy which I thoroughly enjoyed. But the prices were a little higher than I expected. My friends however, ordered two drinks at the same time. When they received them, one of them came out without a cover on the top so we had to ask for it to be put back in the machine so that the cup could have a lid. In terms of the drinks themselves, one was overly sweet and the other tasted as if there was no sugar in it. When my friend asked the bobarista if there was sugar in his, they were so quick to insist they hadn't messed up. "Hey sorry I think you guys might have not put sugar in --" "No" "We did" Because the other drink was so overly sweet, we assumed that they had accidentally put two times sugar in one and not the other. And we didn't want to make a big deal out of it, and just wanted to add more sugar into the lacking one. We didn't even try to say anything about the overly sweet one. They did end up fixing the one drink but it felt very uncomfortable. It might've just been an off or busy day, but from what I saw, the store was not that busy and there were about 4 bobaristas behind the counter. read more

Nice little tea bar but I was a little taken aback by the fried food smell when I walked in the door. Not expected. I guess they're frying up a few things though. Go figure. The drinks were delicious and we ordered with regular sweetness. The only issue I have with boba places is that I need descriptions or pictures. The name alone doesn't help me so I end up ordering the same few things. Help me out! I can't be the only one. There are tables and games for playing so spend some time here with friends. Bubbly Tea Bar - Tasty teas. Thai tea and blended tarro. - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Tallahassee, FL: I'm so excited to write a review of such a quali-tea establishment because Tallahassee was in taro-ble need of a tea-riffic bubble tea joint. I've tried a handful of products at this joint but the best by far was the Taro Tea at fifty percent sweetness. It's what I love most about this place - you can customize everything about your drink from the flavors to the addition of boba to the sweetness. Note: unless you're aiming for a couple visits to the dentist, 75 percent sweetness will be more than enough. Though this place gets quite busy, I do appreciate it being a clean and chic place to hang out. I was here with a group of eight and we grabbed one table which fit us all comfortably for the hour and a half we were here drinking, gabbing, and playing one of the many board games available here. Do yourself a favor and get a bubble tea from Bubbly Tea today. read more

A great addition to Tallahassee, filling a long-empty hole in the foodie scene! Tallahassee simply has not had a good boba tea place in all the years I've been here. Seriously, every other place in town with boba has just left me disappointed. Cue, Bubbly Tea Bar! Their varieties of bubble teas kill it! I have not had a bad experience and it is quickly becoming a go-to spot whenever we're near Pensacola St. I've loved the Mango Tango with its mango jellies and the Royal Thai (with some added bobas), but the Bubbly Milk Tea has become my favorite. I always crank the sugar down a bit to 75% and then add in some bobas. Seriously the best! Everything is quality made and gives you a lot of flexibility to find a favorite! If you're new, start with one of the specials to get the hang of the place and then work towards building your own. So happy to have Bubbly in Tallahassee and providing great boba tea! read more

Bubbly Tea Bar is the best boba place in Tallahassee by far. They have a whole parking lot, so coming in groups is not a problem. Their boba shop is normal sized, so it's favorable towards groups but not super big parties. Their interior design is simple & cute. They have mini plants in different spots & they also have games for customers. Lately, a lot of boba shops have included entertainment, such as board games for customers, and it attracts groups of college students. The boba is delicious. It was my first time going to a boba shop that allowed me to choose the amount of sugar I wanted them to add. For the first time, I did 50% thai tea, and it was good. In the future, I would definitely try 75%-100% if you want the full sweetness because 50% was a lot more creamy. The customer service was good! The workers were sweet and patient, and the drinks came out pretty quick. read more

Incredibly glad to finally have a bubble tea shop that stands up to those I've had the pleasure of trying in the past. I had ordered a royal Thai tea at 75% sweetness and found the texture of the boba to be exactly what I look for (and something I haven't been able to find at any other establishments in Tallahassee). My companion ordered the roasted oolong tea latte and while I've never had oolong tea before, I found it to taste pretty dang good! It was difficult to find at night, but they are still in their soft opening and can't wait to see when they're fully up and running. Spotted a number of board games here as well so I definitely see myself killing some time here in the future! read more

The milk tea here is seriously amazing. You get to pick exactly how sweet you want your tea and there are so many options. I like it sweet so I stick to 100%, like other people have said, if you want a milder flavor, try 75%. You do need to specify that you want boba in your tea, so don't forget to do that! A really exciting addition is their popcorn chicken, I don't know how they do it, but it's just SO tender and well seasoned. It's a really good price too. They also have a mochi waffle they serve with a few different flavors of ice cream. I tried it with mango ice cream and a chocolate drizzle. The waffle is freshly made, not very sweet, but it pairs really well with the ice cream. The mango ice cream REALLY tastes like mango too- highly recommend. Bubbly tea bar is a brand new boba place near FSU campus. It is located in between Tijuana flats and golds gym. The previous restaurant at this location was muscle maker grill, but they have relocated to college town. Their menu of boba has a lot of options and they even have to option to choose what % of sugar will be in your boba tea. You can even opt in to have sugar free boba tea. Great additions at this place as well. They have lychee jellies, aloe Vera, etc. Great boba place - way better than bento or pongs. - Ansel Ponce Diama read more

This is the best bubble tea in town. It's got a bunch of options with creative names for each drink. I was unsure of which toppings to pick so they allowed me to sample a couple of things. Something that's pretty unique about this place is that they allow you to adjust the sugar level of your drink. I've never seen that before. I like the vibe and other people seem to as well. Plenty of people stay and drink their tea over conversation or board games. It's very clean and you see the workers make your drink right in front of your eyes. They close at 11pm! It's nice to have something other than Starbucks during the late hours. & this place is tastier than Starbucks (about the same price though). It's only been four days since they opened and they still don't have a store front sign, but they're still drawing a large crowd. FREE WIFI & MOTIVATIONAL STICKERS INCLUDED read more

I want to start off saying I love Bubble Tea, Boba, Tapioca Drink - whatever you choose to call it. And I love options! I saw a few of the reviews & decided to give Bubbly a try. When I pulled up in front I noticed the 'card only - no cash' sign. A bit off-putting as I've never known any business to NOT want cash but perhaps the owners leave no options for possible thieves b/c that's the ONLY reason I can think of someone not wanting cash. And as someone who works in the service industry I always have done cash on me so I prefer to use that. The bubble tea/milk/drink menu is limited but not bad. And they have some good options if you're hanging out playing any of the variety of games available! It's a hangout spot for sure! While waiting I was able to ask about the honey boba, the egg pudding & noticed they have grass jellies (I do love grass jellies). The other thing that made me go hmmm.... how much I paid. I bought the Lychee Slush which is listed at $5.25 on the menu. I paid $6.18. ???? I'm sure not many ppl would notice but I did - I spent $.54 more than the cost plus tax. I'm curious if that's b/c they don't take cash so the customer pays for part of the transaction fee??? I should've asked for my receipt to see. This was the basis for my rating. The other was the limited amount of choices (I think those were lychee, mango, strawberry... matcha (?), peach and maybe 1-2 more. There were some other interesting things such as choosing the amount of sweetness/sugar in your drink. It's a nice hangout place - I've been in some pretty bare-bones bubble tea places. read more

I went to my old stompin' ground on a recent trip to the panhandle and typed in "boba tea" to Yelp and was quite disappointed with the results that came up. How is it that this college town hasn't caught up with the world of boba???? I only saw a few shops (perhaps two) show up and only one with decent ratings (this location). I was hopeful that this would be a good choice but I came out pretty disappointed in the end. I think the biggest issue at this place is the lack of employees. I understand times are tough with the food industry and having enough employees but there was one guy doing everything on his own. He would take about 4-5 orders at once and then make them all at once too. It took forever. I was patient but also felt bad my husband was waiting in the car with the kids. In the end I got my drinks and bolted out to the car. The drinks were ok but weren't anything special. My husband got the milk tea and I got the Taro milk tea. I don't think it was worth the wait. read more

So I brought my daughter and niece here to check this place out because we've been hearing such a buzz about it. I ordered the Sakura Blossom and the girls both ordered the Peachie Sweetea. We all ordered the drinks with 75% sweetness. We waited a good 20 minutes for our drinks but we didn't mind because we were having a good time catching up. There was only one employee taking orders and making the drinks. She seemed tired, but did her best to be nice. We definitely enjoyed our drinks- cute little jellied hearts at the bottom of my drink. They were all delicious, but it's a bit concerning how long we had to wait. Hope more staff will come on once the students return! read more
